Hello ^^

And yes, there's a high possibility that Hyojoo will be in the MBC drama, Falling in Love! :D It is a romantic-comedy!! I can't wait XD

The full cast list will be revealed in mid-October so it's just a couple of weeks from now! I hope her costar is hot LOL :P

Wow, that's so exciting!!!..although I want to see her again with LSG it really doesn't matter who she'll be paired up with!!..can't wait!!...the title seems to be really interesting and romantic..

It's SUPER exciting!! Hyojoo hasn't worked with MBC since her debut in Nonstop 5 so it's been almost 5 years D:

And also, this will be her first time doing a romcom. She's done daily dramas, weekend dramas, sageuk, indie films, sitcoms, and melodramas, but she's never done a drama that's a romantic comedy XD

I'm super happy since I've been praying she'd do one but she never does T-T Until now haha

But, yeah... I just hope the drama is successful and well-received <3

Though I'm still hoping she has an awesome costar X]

I'm really curious about the plot and characters though :o Since the PD said that Hyojoo fitted the female role perfectly. I hope she doesn't play another good girl, Cinderella type though :\

I want to see her portray someone who's edgier and not so nice haha. Maybe someone like the girl in My Sassy Girl XD

^ i wouldn't consider BL a romantic comedy

there was more tragic moments than funny ones

there wasn't many funny moments to start with..the arguments with ES and Hwan were more entertaining than funny

i would just call it a weekend drama

Heys! :D

Well, BL isn't technically categorized as a Romantic-Comedy, it's just categorized as a Romance drama on DramaWiki. But it definitely involved more than just the humorous bickering between Eunsung and Hwan and even their romance wasn't the main story of the drama. BL had a lot of other important focal points (i.e. Grandma's inheritance, importance of family, the corruption and power that comes with wealth, etc.) so I'd say the heavy, serious drama outweighed the comedy. The drama started out quick with everything in Eun Sung's life quickly falling apart, and HHJ like SOBBED for a while in the beginning, haha.

And, nope, HHJ hasn't officially confirmed her that she'll be in Falling In Love. It's highly likely that she'll accept it unless she's too stressed or it conflicts her schedule like Chuno did.

Han Hyo-joo’s internet drama Soul Special

Han Hyo-joo, who has just come off her SBS hit drama Brilliant Legacy at a career high, has a new project which takes the rather unique format of an “Internet drama.” Called Soul Special [쏘울 스페셜], it co-stars actor Kim Dong-wook (Partner) as her love interest.

(Hm, another web series. And this comes so soon after the other one, SETI, was announced starring Seo Hyo-rim and Kim Kyu-jong.)

Parts 1 and 2 were released this past week, which you can watch below.

Han Hyo-joo plays a free-spirited singer-songwriter, while Kim Dong-wook is a doctor, although you don’t see that in the first clip. Lee Chae-young and singer K.Will also appear as a couple. The drama rather prominently features the Kia (ad money, no doubt), but the series has a very cute vibe.

Here’s Part 1: “One Day, Something Special For You…”

Here, Han Hyo-joo returns to Korea from studying abroad, stumbles across Kim Dong-wook in the airport parking lot, and wonders jokingly, “Are you my welcome-home present?” She gets into the Kia (arranged by her unni) and checks into a hotel (arranged by a friend).

Her last line is: “Will you marry me?”

Next is Part 2: “Solo Woman, Find Loneliness”

The web series is 1 hour long in total, divided into 12 episodes at 5 minutes each. Its first two episodes were released this past week, and will continue to release two episodes per week (every Tuesday and Thursday) online. Afterward, it will be released to cable television and as mobile content.

Haha, I read about that earlier today too :P

Well, I'm sure he knew that if he had chosen Hyojoo, rumors would've started and blah blah blah~ lol

It's like when Hyojoo kept choosing Jun Se/Bae Soo Bin :P

Anyways...

Han Hyo Joo Returns as an Internet Actress?

Internet actress? Sounds new to all of you, doesn't it? To all the naughty readers out there, no. Han Hyo Joo did not become a porn star after moving into a new agency. However, it seems like Han Hyo Joo is challenging herself to something very new indeed.

On the 29th of last month, Korean's most well-known portal sites, Nate and Cyworld, joined in partnership to set off a new generation in the history of dramas. You might ask, how can Korean dramas be any better? After all, we already got a blockbuster-scale spy drama airing in just weeks. Well, here is your answer. They are called NetDeu (넷드), combination of Internet and Drama (pronounced as deu ra ma in Korean). NetDeus are series of dramas that won't be aired on TV, but instead on the internet.

This stellar project will begin with a new drama called 'Soul Special' (쏘울 사랑해), starring Han Hyo Joo, Kim Dong Wook, and K-will. It has already gained countless attentions by the netizens after its release of the teaser, which also received more than 20,000 views within just four hours. The 60 minute long episodes are set to be aired every Tuesday and Thursday.

The first episode showed Mia, played by Han Hyo Joo, arriving in Korea from her boarding school, encountering a passed out stranger from his hangover. Like all the typical Korean dramas, although this one ain't so typical, the episode foreshadowed the upcoming love story between the two.

Now, many will probably wonder the same thing for this new drama sensation. And that's about their quality.

Yes, of course, unlike the normal dramas aired on televisions, these dramas won't have a line-up of sponsors contributing to it's weak budget. However, it sounds like you don't need to worry a thing. Under the reputation of one of the best music video directors, Kim Nam Kyung will produce the series with his special talent of creating great visuals. Bobby Kim, K-will, and Rumble Fish are just some of the glittering names that will be participating for it's soundtrack.

Hoping this new challenge will be a huge success for our Korean drama industry, I can't wait to see Han Hyo Joo's heartfelt acting again, as well as K-will's new step-off as an actor.

MC Yoo voted #1 star Koreans would like to accompany going home

MC Yoo Jae Suk has been voted as the #1 star Koreans would most like to accompany going to their home with.

On the 2nd on KBS 2TV's Chuseok special 'Big Star X File', different rankings of stars were shown through a survey that was performed.

Yoo Jae Suk remained the #1 spot and had no change in position. Though he got married, his popularity is still soaring.

The #2 spot belonged the cute and sexy SNSD. In 3rd place was the noonas' heartthrob, Lee Seung Gi. #4 was 2PM, and #5 was sexy singer Lee Hyori.

Also, the #1 female star they'd like to introduce their parents to was trot queen Jang Yoon Jung, Han Hyo Joo, and Kim Tae Hee thanks to their beauty and intelligence. The male stars, Lee Seung Gi, So Ji Sub, and Jang Dong Gun took the #1 spot as the mascots of Korea's handsome men.

But there were also #1 spots of shame. Jung Hyung Don took the #1 spot as the male star who wouldn't work on Chuseok and goof around all day, and Park Hee Soon took the #1 position as the person most likely to spend their Chuseok at home alone.
