Hello chingu @kilovekyo!! How've you been?? Hehehe!!

After watch JE's "Through The Night" MV so many times, and watch people's reaction on YT who hear her new song. I think most of people agree that JE wrote this song for Moon Lovers SHR. Too many clues, chingu yaa. And I think it's not just because (maybe) her MV's director is MLSHR fans, because all lyrics of this song (that JE wrote herself) really related to MLSHR dialogues really. So many times watched and read the lyrics, the more of dialogues & scenes of MLSHR come to my mind. I think it because personally, JE herself, really treasure this drama a lot. Like JG said, that she was really worked hard for this drama, because she was the protagonist lead of the story.

So she felt responsible for this drama. But since shooting's atmosphere was so good and of course JG was really help her to enjoy the process with make her laugh a lot, so she didn't feel burdened and have fun through the process (Remember what JE said at JG's FM about not to worry MLSHR's rating?). I think she really feel grateful and touched by JG's words like she said. But to be honest, the lyrics is just about WS & HS's love. LOL. It's like she serenade someone & show that someone is really important for her (Ehem..*half-scream* "JG!!" ...cough cough cough). And because she is an artist, she really has sensitive feeling. She cherish every little things that she felt precious. And yeah, a lot of that lyrics was from MLSHR dialogues but I think that lyrics contain JE's real feeling too. I mean, she CHOOSE what MLSHR's dialogues that give her deep impressesion into her song (And to be honest, this is her first pre-released song!! I mean she wouldn't sacrifice her come back, just to fulfill our wish (SHR's fans) if that song didn't give her confidence & have a special place in her heart) , and I'm sure there's a meaning behind that "selected" words for her personally too. Kekekeke~

So I'll give my impression for her song again (after watched it several times:

(In that lyrics, fireflies really have a deep meaning in her heart. Because she put it on the reff of the song. So we could assume she really love that scene where HS & WS meet (For HS's birthday) and stargazing together in the middle of fireflies. And in her MV where she peep through the door and walk back and forth, like waiting someone, really remind me of WS's wolf scream when he called HS to come out from her room, this time it's like JE waiting for him to call her out from her room).

(Remind me of their mutual kiss, but "close my eyes whenever I can and go to farthest place"? Dunno... Maybe her personal feeling? LOL)

(Dunno why I remember WS's dialogue when HS stare at the lake, and he said he was afraid when she gave that look. It's like she would (like the lyrics) "disappear to a far off place". And the lyric "I always miss you miss you", remind me of HS's scene when waiting WS to come till she died. *Not related* and remind me of Goblin's song for LDW & YIN. LOL!! And for that "Just like letters on the sand
where waves were", what letters written on the sand on the side of the sea (where waves were)? Personal experience maybe? *With JG... Cough...cough...)

(Remind me of HS's scene when she left the palace. She couldn't show them all (her love). Yeah because complicated situation and of course, love is a complicated itself. *Crying again on the corner, remember their separation scene* and maybe some hidden meaning for JG too?? *Wink* Maybe she doesn't show all that love feeling (like JG who is an open book. LOL), but it doesn't mean she didn't like him. And we all know that at first, too, we didn't sure that JE has mutual feeling for JG. Remember that moment? But slowly, if we look at her carefully, we could see her heart till we could come to conclusion that she has mutual feeling right? Maybe "old" stargazer (or new stargazer who have finished backreading) would know our "worry" before. LOL. There, JE answered it. Though, it was on a slow and in a long time. LOL. Btw *not related* really curious with her diary!!!)

("How can I be so lucky to have met you, who is a blessing" remind me of WS & HS's scene, where HS return that hairpin and WS peck her lips, in that scene WS said that he always a bad luck for his mother and all people that everyone avoid & scare of him. It's like HS's answer for that WS's dialogue. And for personal (JE) interpretation, she felt so grateful to meet JG and could work with him. He didn't blame her for MLSHR's rating on SK (I mean he is a veteran actor, of course he want his drama to have a good rating in SK), instead he always be there, cheer her up, so she don't feel too burdened and fight alone, let her enjoy the process, a lot of mistakes (NG's in this case) are not a matter, as long as the final result is good. With this kind of support JE wouldn't feel so stressed and help her to enjoy it all and have a good memories. I mean, for sure, JE would at least feel that she was the one who responsible for that rating. Because she was the lead, she was the one who naratting the story, and we know she sometimes feel lack of confidence (She was doing great actually!). And maybe she thinks it was because her antis, or a lot of female viewers doesn't like to see her around of handsome princes or something (Omg, puhhhleaasee! She deserves it. LOL!). But JG wasn't blame her or whatever. I think that's why she admires him. "If we’re together now
Ah how great it’d be" Once again, clearly, MLSHR's dialogues on the final episode. When WS & HS walk together, after HS stare at the lake, HS said "On another world, another time, if we're together how great it'd be" it's like JE really want to make a sequel of SHR in her album. LOL. She loves this drama. Realize, she put word "now" on her lyrics? It feels like, she continues HS words back then. LOL. And it could double meaning too to give a green light to "someone"? LOL!!)

("I hope it’s a good dream" remind me of HS's modern scene where she wake up from her sleep with WS's memory. It was a good dream but, it was hurt her heart at the same time. And like my earlier post, that lyrics could be a reply of JG's statement of "dreaming about HS". LOL!!)

My conclusion, MLSHR (and that special someone) really have deep impression for JE. MLSHR and that special someone (*Scream* "JG!!") really lucky, because such talented artist like IU made them as her inspirations to create such another masterpiece. A song with such a soft, sweet, sooth, tender, full of love feeling. I could really feel that this song is really precious for her. She carefully thought of every details of this song, that every time someone hears it, one reaction that they made for sure is: touch their heart (chest). Because of JE's voice really reach our heart. There's really sincerity in that song.

JG's blood type (B) always could make JE (her blood type is A, btw) relaxed and enjoyed the moment. We know that A's blood type is such a workaholic & serious type. She could be stressed and sick because overworked if B's is not there to kidnap her from work, just to have some fun together. Ah... Our OTP. How great it'd be if they're together... Ok, enough of my post, or it'll be as long as a dictionary.

EDIT: One more thing, this song really give me a vibe of "nostalgic" feeling. Maybe in the future ahead, when we busy with another drama or our real life, when we hear this song again, we will being drawn back again to SHR, feeling so nostalgic. Thank you JE nie aka IU ssi, to make this drama everlasting with your beautiful melodies & voice. We'll always remember this drama and your blazing chemistry with JG ssi as one of our precious memory!!

@caramelovers75 Aww..you described it so beautifully,  JE and JG has been deeply affected by SHR, it is evident in their recent activities and song..like JG said his famous WS line and JE with her lyrics..

I want to add one more interesting thing about her lyrics..

 If u look at Hae Soo's letter scene before her death..she used 그리워 (I yearn for you so much) line, similarly IU  has used "Geuriwo" instead of "Bogoshippossoyo"..because "Bogoshippo= I miss you" is normally used nowadays but "Geuriwo" is more like "yearning for him" ,its more deep and intense..

So she carefully chose her words to let us(Or him?) Know Her true emotions..

And i was laughing when i read about the Director's mention about the hairpin..means we are not the only delulu people right? Lol

I don't care if it is a coincidence or was done on purpose,the truth is that the universe is trying to bring them closer by all means..

If we read it again "I feel you'll disappear..." there's word "you'll = you will" as other chingu has said she's afraid to lost the one she love. She's just missing him and feel lucky met him, she want to be together with him right now...but she can't tell all her feeling. So it's about undelivered love confession. Cmiiw... Is it possible to say maybe they're in long distance relationship (any other reasons) but they didn't break up?

Before this has been posted...it's come from director who made the mv, he said from some reason the protagonist couldn't deliver the love letter. So my opinion it's still about feeling confession.
