this rumor is not starting with unfounded thing..... if JG and Jieun just professionally became a co worker i don't think any rumor will surface when the breakup news happen.. people that are not JG and Jieun fan nor JoonU shipper also pointed out that they both acting suspicious at that night and this is just a casual viewer.. that's how far the rumor go and its starting to get too much forcing Namoo to release the statement... i pretty sure JG and Jieun realize doing that will make people suspicious of them but they keep doing it over and over again...

Sorry for cutting your post.  I don't think JG had plans to go to the RE premiere in LA because from mid-December on his schedule indicated that he would be returning to Korea on December 23 and if he had changed plans then he would have to have left directly from Hong Kong to LA and didn't indicate anything in his schedule about this and whenever JG has any event they update his agenda at least a week before.

1. Did you guys know before about JG’s plan to go to LA after his HK FM? As far as I remember, it wasn’t mentioned on his January’s schedule. But our chingu here said that his name was on the confirmed attendee list.

2. Hence if it was already confirmed, why didn’t Namoo update the schedule? Or could it be it was a sudden invitation? Nahhh, that’s not the case because James Fraser said he missed his little bro ie. JG on his IG.

3. So when did you actually find out that he was supposed to go to LA? Well, I knew it from this thread. Our chingu here posted a tweet about his attendance for RE’s Premiere in LA. And was it before or after the break up news when we found out about that?

4. Then after few hours, Namoo released an announcement that due to conflict of schedule (?? CMIIW), he was not able to go to LA.

EDIT: 5. If LJG wasnt planning to go in the first place, why did Namoo then release the trip cancellation info?

Namoo kept going on in their statements about fans reading too much into their onscreen chemistry (I lowkey feel like they're gaslighting me there, ha) and articles are making everything out to be like SHR fans can't tell the difference between fiction and reality... But all of the commotion is based on IU and LJG's behaviour after the drama (+ Lee Hwi Jae stirring the pot). If the breakup news came out last year, before all the fanservice, do we really think it'd have caused the same stir over LJG?

I'm sure I saw in his previous post on his IG but I'm to busy to find it now. He told Milla that they will meet again soon in LA. About the list, maybe it was a mistake with Li Bing Bing but definitely not with JG because I think they are seen at different levels. The fact that they was so ambiguous with his schedule and the fact that he has not confirmed his attendance to RE6 LA premiere, makes me think that he knew that JE will announce her break-up, but he didn't know exactly when it will be the day. Also I inclined to believe that he learned of her decision after the RE6 press conference in Korea, because otherwise he would not have told Milla that they will meet soon in LA. (or maybe soon he will start to film in US ) So he left open the opportunity to go back in Korea without creating suspicion. This is my supozition.

@ucieh I think it wasn't officially confirmed and scheduled by Namoo Actors that JG would attend the RE 6 Premiere in LA. However, knowing how excited JG has been about his RE Family especially after Milla & Paul's visit to Korea, he might have planned it in the last minute. Concerning his name on the attendee list, it could have been a tentative list provided by the organizer (?) by listing the cast names of RE series there. 

Namoo Actors posted an announcement about JG not attending thereafter but we don't know why- maybe he had some appointments already scheduled for the date. There seems to be no more special events for the RE public premiere today so it's not it.

Of course as a shipper we'd love to believe that JG's return to Korea instead of flying to LA while he could have the opportunity to do so, whether it's planned in prior or a candid decision on his side, would be related to the big breakup news of JE. Even if it turns out to be other reasons, aren't there just too many coincidences with these two already? with such a long long list of coincidences, I will have to convince myself to believe that the universe might want to conspire for these two. hehe. it's good enough, isn't it?

By the way, Namoo Actors' confirmation seems to be quite effective... not to mention JG's brilliant strategy of posting a very distracting IG pic today *not that I complain, he's just so hawt lol*- there seems to be no more new 'oppa please date IU' comments and/or freshly brewed articles on 'JG-JE's suspicious relationship' around haha... now everybody can breathe normally and go hunt other scandals lol...

I still think this 'just close colleague situation' is the best to have at this moment... a 'cooling down' period, a peaceful time to move on and start a new for JE and also for JG. If they are meant to be with each other- no matter how long it takes, no matter how many new people, lovers and relationships they will have in between, no matter how far they try to go to avoid each other, in the end they will end up together. If they are not, though, no matter how lovey dovey they can be, no matter how close they are as lovers, they will end up separating. JG once said he believes in a destined love and he's been waiting for it. So I guess if his heart is sure enough, he'll fight for it. I hope JE also feels the same way and they both can work things out. Being 'invisible' from the hunting eagle eyes of media and public is good... rushing a dating confirmation will be very risky, even though the relationship might have started already *who knows, right?*. I'd rather them to take their time... I'm sure that if they both are sure enough and really in love, wanting to get the blessings from the public and fans, they will not deny anything at all. This might take time and preparation, anyway, as always the public needs a 'diplomatic' statement lol... which will include the 'timeline' and 'reasons'. One or two more years sound okay.

about namoo statement, im ok with them denying the dating rumor but it just the statement of "close colleagues" that bothers me. i mean come on ppl in their right mind now even close colleagues dont do things they do. i just hope this statement dont create missunderstanding between je&jg, maybe im just worry too much 

also i agreed all this dating rumor comes from JoonU themself, it is not just from delulu minds of shipper or mlshr fans. 

like me yes i love their chemistry on the drama but i started shipping them after i watched bts, but then i forgot abt it or didnt give a high hope after i watched their interviews vids (such as cosmo, and presscon even their gathering pics) at that time je seems looked much closer with haneul. as far as i remeber there were no rumor what so ever when the drama aired, if they wanted to promoted the drama and express their chemistry that time was the right time to do the fan service, but they didnt.

but then bam..here comes SAF their attitude and interaction towards each other were so different, more intimate, the highlight of the night was of course when lhj asked the question not only jg didnt denied it but also je, insted of denied it she just said eh..eh pretend she didnt hear it kkkk...i guess that girl can't lie   then we got bigger cake from taiwan, thats why the rumor become stronger and got bigger after the breakup news, so tell me whose fault was it?

The fans in DC talked about that they had sent e-mails to Namoo to ask for information on that list that included the name of Joon Gi, since in his schedule his attendance wasn't scheduled, so for this reason Namoo emitted that statement.

I knew I was pretty sane and I refused to believe that I was simply going nuts when it came to Joon Gi and Ji Eun. There was just something; a big jolt of electricity when I saw them in the SBS Awards.

I didn't ship them before that, I was just a happy Hajunse. I was anticipating the awards night not only because I wanted to see them again together, but also because I wanted Joon Gi to win awards and hopefully they'd release that *insert expletives here* hankerchief scene (which they'll probably never release unless I kidnap the director). 

But when I saw them... Oh man. It was different. Maybe I was just a diehard SoSoo fan. Or maybe, they were just undeniably fascinating to look at which may or may not be attributed to the tragic characters they portrayed. 

So... I pondered a few hours ago. I assessed if I was just being an idiot. But I knew I wasn't. I didn't ship them before the SBS awards; which can only mean one thing: the basis of my shipping is founded. I genuinely saw sparks. So, yeah, Joon Gi and Ji Eun added fuel to the fire. It wasn't us.

That's why it kind of irritates me when I see a comment saying, "Why can't some fans separate fiction from reality?" Or "They're obviously just friends." The people who made these comments, they probably didn't watch the SBS Awards and they probably don't know or didn't see Joon Gi and Ji Eun's guesting to each other's Taiwan concert/FM. Seriously though, we're not being pushovers or idiots. HAHA.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming them. They're just not making it easy for us fans to forget them either. (*whispers* continue your "fanservice" pls)

we are pretty much shocked when we know about it. because it was so sudden but we cannot say he wasnt invited since his he made it clear he will see Milla in LA.. maybe he was unsure of his schedule. thought he can make it? since namoo statement indicate that he want to go but unable to because of schedule conflict. so, maybe there is last minute cancellation happened.. we never know~~

Actually, I was looking for the tweet that mentioned about his departure to LA, it's on page 635 but the tweet is no longer there. I'd like to know how and where the poster got the info from. It looks like JG knew that something was going to happen, just like @Diana Blanche said. 

And, yes...Namoo's confirmation does work effectively. I've been monitoring the comments on JG's IG' latest post and wow...it makes me wonder whose strategy it was? =D  What a relief!
