For the 17-year-old actress whose resume includes 13 years of acting in over 50 roles, acting itself is not difficult. 

Some might think kissing the older actor, Park Bo Gum, was an obstacle, as the 23-year-old actor is older than Kim by 6 years.

Or, maybe it was the beautiful but complex dance she performed in a pivotal scene that intrigued the crown prince.

It turned out that her answer had to do with what she had to wear underneath layers of historical costumes.

She said strapping her top for hours was the most difficult part in playing a gender-bender role of a girl who masqueraded as a eunuch in the palace.

She recalled having to wear the straps even for 24 hours straight at times.

It was also very hot in the summer when they filmed, so her skin reacted to the suffocating heat by breaking out.

She also tried to stay fit because there were many physically demanding activities that her character was required to perform.

Of course we viewers have no idea of what she went through when watching the lovely romance unfold in Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.

I don't mean to criticize you but if you have watched this thread long enough, you will know that there were many ridiculous shits happened to yoojung all because of immature and over-delulu shippers, which put an overall bad image on us yoojung fans since non-shippers all assume that those are her fans.

regarding song joong ki, i don't see any problems with it. They are actors from the same agency and have a close relationship way before MDBC happens, not to mention he is like bogum's mentor. I'm not sure if some of you guys have been reading this thread long enough. It always baffled me how careless and selfish people can be when expressing their opinion. Loving BoYoo in itself is a great joy to me, but when it turns into a selfish desire to see both of them together all the time, it starts to feel unhealthy and selfish for us. I have said this way too many times here, PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR WORDS. You don't know how much it can affect our babies. 

YooJung herself has been subjected to so much hate very recently till she had to take some time off. Of course I am really happy she came back stronger than she's ever been. But you can't deny the girl is scarred. She felt the pain and until now we don't know what she really feels. So let's not forget the pain of seeing her suffer. Of course, this forum being an international space with English as the first language could not do as much harm as the comments in Naver articles by K-netz to her feelings. But you must remember there was one time when her team made a mistake with La Palette event and they actually approached i-fans personally to delete the photo. That proves that they do monitor social media and comments from i-fans.

And Bogum, he is quite active on Twitter and I believe he do reads comments from both i-fans and k-fans. DO you think he wouldn't know if we express discomfort towards people around him? Remember TVN awards and his so-called controversial speech? He didn't even post a single tweet about that award and later, he actually felt sorry for calling his previous co-star as Wife (which is what their character was for god sake!). And do you really think his fans hating on Yoojung doesn't have any effects on him? Remember his Christmas message to his fans?

What I'm trying to say here, there are enough haters and way too many reasons they created just to hate on our babies. Why are we giving them more reasons with our thoughtless comments? Even if you can't express yourself well in English. Try to focus on POSITIVITY ONLY in this thread. Even the slightest negativity can be a reason for haters to bash especially towards Yoojungie. Expressing your discomfort and calling SJK's appearance a PR move and put it the in the same sentence of expressing your desire to see Yoojung as a guest. How is that not harmful for Yoojung? How can you not know that can definitely be a reason for people to hate on her?

SO PLEASE, think before you write. Stop being selfish and try to use your brain to foresee the consequences of your comments.

Park Bo Gum: More than just a pretty Crown Prince

Park Bo Gum might very well be a modern-day Helen of Troy. As the saying goes, she had a face that launched a thousand ships; but in the 23-year-old actor's case, he has the smile that activates a thousand camera flashes.

The breakout star, whose popularity rose tremendously after starring in two consecutive hit dramas - Reply 1988and Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, made his long-awaited first official appearance in Singapore yesterday. The press conference, which took place at the Intercontinental Singapore, was held a day before his fan meeting. Our little red dot is also be the final stop of his Asia tour, during which he travelled to locations such as Taiwan, Japan, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

We digress - going back to the curious topic of his smile, Bo Gum is widely known as a media darling who can also do no wrong in the eyes of the public. Given that he has been bestowed numerous unofficial titles in South Korea, including the Nation’s Crown Prince (after his iconic role as Crown Prince Lee Young in Moonlight) and Nation’s Son-in-law (for obvious reasons), it’s easy to see that he’s earned plenty of brownie points in almost everyone’s books.

“(Instead of feeling burdened), I really like (being called by such titles),” the actor chuckled. “I’m really thankful for it too and I hope that everyone will continue giving me such titles in future.”

With his earnest nature and boyishly handsome looks (let’s face it - it’s all part of the appeal), people have becoming increasingly interested and fascinated with everything and anything he does. Add his million-dollar smile into the equation, and everyone turns into camera trigger-happy citizens when he grins.

Be it a bashful(shy) smile when you praise him for his achievements or flashing his pearly whites during a good-natured ribbing session, we felt like we needed sunglasses because of the sheer amount of flashes going off during the 30-minute press conference.

Lest you think that his good looks and amazing smile are all that he has going for him, we must say that there’s a lot more to this actor than you’d think. He’s adept at English, has some serious acting chops (he picked up the Top Excellence Award at the recent KBS Drama Awards) and has the maturity of a seasoned celeb when it comes to fielding questions from the media and making career choices.

As a matter of fact, I understand that many of us would rather see YJ as a guest in BG's fanmeetings, but honestly I don't think that Blossom is inviting SJK instead of  YJ. I mean, I've never considered this is an either-SJK-or-KYJ situation. By having SJK be BG's guest Blossom is not robbing YJ of her chance to be reunited with BG on a stage, nor shippers of a memorable Boyoo moment. The way I see it, it's either SJK or some other  BG's hyung or no one. And while I do agree that our boy is more than capable to carry his own fanmeeting without SJK (and he has brilliantly proved it) I appreciate JK's williness to attend because a fan meeting - especially Bogum's style, as he gives his best, and more, for his fans - must be incrediby demanding and tiring (and we've seen that BG looks tired!), so having a guest on the stage that, even if only for a small portion of the show, shares the burden of entertaining the fans, must be quite good. And obviously SJK is a great choice, not only because being from the same agency makes it easier to coordinate everything, but also because I guess SJK and PBG share a number of fans or at least each of them is well liked by the fans of the other. So, if anything, I am grateful to Blossom for being considerate enough to support our boy this way. Of course they get to kill two birds with one stone, since they also promote their 2 actors at the same time, but it's a win-win situation so it's ok.  

 

Partly related to this.... To be honest, every time I've read comments demanding - or expressing the hope -  that KYJ appears in one fo BG's fanmeeting I've been tempted to add my opinion, but I never in the end, 'cause  I didn't have time and also I thought I must be the only one who feels this way. Since  the topic came up again and some of you are hoping to see YJ  in the Seoul fanmeeting, however I wanted to offer a different perspective. Probably you won't agree with me in the end, but it's ok  

[ETA: I see that , while I was busy typing this, others (@cloud92 @mamun) have voiced similar thoughts and concerns... sorry for repeating what has already been said]

I don't want to spoil the mood or crush everyone's hopes, but frankly speaking I don't think it will happen and... I also feel this is for the best. Why? Let's see:

• generally speaking (i.e. shipping aside): it's obvious to everyone how much BG has always been careful to "keep the balance" between his 2 major dramas, R88 and MDBC. Not just in his FMs, but in any interview he has, he does his best to show that he does not favour one over the other. I believe the main reason is that he is truly fond of the 2 dramas equally, but I think that he does that also because he is well aware that - while MDBC earned him many new fans -  most of his hardcore and/or long-time fans adore R88 (and Taek's character) above anything else. So he probably doesn't want to displease any faction by showing a preference to either drama (besides, knowing BG I guess he might also feel that choosing either drama would be somewhat "disrespectful" towards all the people who worked on the other one... ). So, just as he is careful with his words, he can't (and Blossom would not let him) invite to his fm some actor from MDBC without inviting also someone from R88 or vice versa. Maybe - but just maybe - he could get away with inviting just one of the male actors of either drama and no one else, but forget about the female co-star: way too risky. 
• female co-star... in addition to the above point... True, as some of you mentioned, KYJ is appreciated by many people, including non-shipper Bogum's fans. However, those of us who follow BG (I mean, not just boyoo ship related stuff ;-)) and read various social media are painfully aware that, while BG fans who are "non shippers" to various degrees (let alone other-shippers) might not hate Yoojung per se, they have already a very low tolerance for BoYoo and BoYoo shippers due to the unreasonable behaviour unfortunately displayed over and over by some BoYoo shippers out there. They might be a minority, but they are enough to give us all a bad reputation. It's very sad but true: we shippers (in general, not referring to any specific person here, so please don't be offended, my friends) are the ones who are bringing disgrace on our beloved couple  If YJ were to attend BG's fm, I don't want to imagine what might happen. Just the mere news of her presence would probably have many non shippers roll their eyes because they know what to expect. Instead of just expressing their happyness in an harmless way, I am afraid some BoYoo shippers active on different social media would start to boast, become too vocal and arrogant and possibly attack and offend other ships... and a full-fledged fanwar would erupt. We've already been there. I don't want this to happen (again), because this would reflect badly on Yoojung (even if she has no fault at all), after all she has already been through, and BoYoo. 

That's why, personally, I do NOT want YJ to be a guest in Bogum's FM. I hope this won't upset any of you, and that you understand that the only reason why I am saying this is because I love BoYoo just like you do. I want BG and YJ to be able to continue to cherish and nurture whatever relationship they have, without having to worry about fans, or think that they need to distance themselves from each other in order to protect each other. I might be overthinking or just too sensitive about this, but on several occasions I've felt that BG in particular is worried about this situation too (hinting about fans respecting each others, etc.). So, I am ok not seeing BoYoo toghether, and getting just small hints and crumbs here and there if this is necessary for them to cultivate their relationship. This is what I've come to call "the Paradox of the BoYoo Shipper": we are all starving for BoYoo moments, but must be ready not to get any and not to see any confirmation - at least as long as they are so young and their careers are just taking off - if this is the best way to protect them, together and individually. 

Bottom line: please, fellow shippers, don't be discouraged or upset over small things, think about the greater good, and keep the faith in BoYoo!!!  Have a great weekend !!!
