So far, I've only seen 2 episodes of 'Moon Lovers', and it's quite the opposite of 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds'. The former certainly does not shy away from showing massive amounts of blood (even some get splattered onto the male lead's face) whereas the latter simply makes the viewers accept that it's there.. Frankly, I'm not much for gore (I do not like the sight of blood ), so I'll take the latter's depiction, or rather non-depiction any day.

Yup. Betcha it's suffering and pain from now on. That's the buggering thing about Kdramas plot line. And chuck in a wedding in between. 

There's no way s**t won't hit the fan now that the bodyguard knows. And the future CP sees the bracelet. Where is the preview? I've lost the page  now.

 

I've already rewatched this twice. And my favourite scenes at least several times. And I am still giddy in love.

The storyline is not heavy but again its certainly not boring at all. What i love is that they didn't drag the relationship of our OTP because we can see different dynamics between them in every episodes which is great because that's one of the key point of the story. 

As for Ha Yeon, i kind of expect she will come off as dislikable at first but what I've concerned about is her character development. She made RaOn jealous, was rejected few times by Yeong, but did we expect she stop and walk away now just like that? If that's just her role then what's the point she's being there? We can have one of the court lady to play the role then. Of course i'm annoyed as hell how she come between our OTP.

But will she become more of an important character? What is her role in the political conflicts moving forward as coming from Jo's clan, she will be the important key for allies through marriage? Will she be one of the bad guy or the good guy, its too soon to tell.

In my opinion, Ha Yeon and Princess seem to have what we called Frenemies relationship. Not friend but not enemy either LOL

 

 

There are subtle hints about HY's character so far n l cant say l like her much. She's clearly a go-getter (nothing wrong with that ) but one that hides her ambition behind a sweet smile. There was a mention about how she used to fight with the princess when young n in the scene where she "grabs" the dating book from the princess with a smile, its telling of how she will be in future - She will get what she wants! 

And thats what I worry about. If she was like the evil Queen who wears her heart on her sleeves, its easier for CP to see n manage her. What I fear is she plays the nice sweet consort to CP while scheming to rid of RaOn secretly.. And the CP is still ok with marrying her coz he thinks she s not a bad person n so no harm in a political marriage.

Just finished watching ep 8.. and this forum is daebaaakk hahahhaa.. I need sometime to do back read, but before that I wanna share some of my thought.. 

1. I don't know how you feels about this, but I fall in love with the interaction between YS and HY. 

2. Ra On's hand with the bracelet, sooo beautiful!

3. Thinking about there is so many people looking for RaOn outside the palace, it makes me think that the palace now is the most safest place yet the most dangerous. Isn't it ironic?

4. It looks like the riot happens 7 years (or 10 years?) ago is triggered by the PM.

5. It is heartbreaking to see CP feels betrayed by his very close friend, yet he choose to trust BY without questioning it more.

6. I love it when RaOn show her jealousy. She say that people need to sincerely shows their affection, and she did! In most drama I watched, usually the lead can give good advice but holding them self to do such thing. But not with our RaOn!

I have so much in my mind but not able to put it in words.. in conclusion, my love to this drama got deeper and deeper!!

Just finished watching ep 8. A little confused, maybe I missed the memo but why is Ra-on's character so significant and why is everyone looking for her? Was her father the Hong guy a rebel?

If I recall the details correctly, the riot happened 10 years ago (mentioned a few times, at least once by KBY's stealth boss and once by King's eunuch) whereas LY's mother passed on 7 years ago (he was telling Consort Park to let him console her just as she did for him 7 years ago, which was probably when his mother passed on, because they were both in mourning clothes in the flashback).

@Jillia I am very amazed at the extensive knowledge you have with regards to hanboks and all the joseon's costume. It's such an eye opener for me. 

Ever since I read your post, I am always looking out at their costume. The are all beautiful, and worn according to their position as well as for a certain function. Even the hat has it's own character. I wonder if they have a wardrobe specialist during that time.

My heart just couldnt take it. I have to wait for a week for ep 9 and 10. Pls save me! Hangover! Worst than alcohol! The CP most probably has to marry HY in order to avoid marrying one of the Kim clan. The King did mention that he doesnt want CP to be like him, marrying one of the Kim clan. Very tough to swallow. Gonna cry my eyeballs out

I also feel that maybe, just maybe, a glimmer of hope that CP and RO will marry to unite the rebels and the royal family. Who knows. Just pray hard to KDrama God

Guard kim is looking for Hong's daughter and he met this ahjumma telling him that when RaOn is still a baby, she and her mother lived at her place. At first she didn't know that it is Hong's daughter but later she found out that the father always come every morning to deliver rice, and then she know that he (the father) was the Rebel (I forgot his name, Hong Gyul?) but then RaOn is separated from her mother and adopted by a man when he was 10 years old, and then kim guard found RaOn's father..

After yesterday ep, i almost cried when the CP said to BY that he is the only person that he trusted. Their friendship is the most precious thing and it's falling apart :((( i just cant .... 

But if BY knew about RO then he should take RO out of the palace coz staying there will be dangerous to her. 

CP is going to marry soon, i dont hate HY at all, she's cute and actually nice. But well she will be the crow princess T.T poor her, she was falling for a wrong guy, she and YS will make a nice couple. 

And RO, i dont get the way CP always step toward her and she always step back, she hide and he will find. You like him RO ah, you always said to other that  they should find for their love, then how about you? Dont let CP hug you first, hug him and show him your love just like the way the crown princess always does. SHOW THE MAN LOVE

You know you're obsessed when you spend all this time refreshing this forum when you should be doing your homework... 
I just created this account for the sole purpose of showing my love and gratitude towards this drama. It has made my Mondays and Tuesdays 10000000% better!

Let me just start off by saying that I went into this drama by complete randomness. I was bored one day, and I saw that the first episode was out. Coincidentally, I saw that Kim Yoo Jung was starring in it, and hey, I wasn't a huge fan at that time but I definitely liked her enough to go, "Yes! This looks fun! I will support Yoo Jung." BEST DECISION EVER!!!! NOT ONLY DID I FALL IN LOVE WITH KYJ'S SKILLS BUT GOSH DARN, PARK BO GUM SURE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE A PEOPLE WEAK IN THE KNEES.

I know everyone is in love with PBG, who isnt?? I was wondering if KYJ is getting similar amounts of attention in Korea and the websites? I'd hate for her acting and visuals go unnoticed...and I hope she's getting the praise she deserves. She's truly a shining star!! Such a role model for teen girls like me
