i posted one picture of paul walker (who i persoally think is hotter than all the guys u posted) and another pic of some random european model ( which all the other girls in the european model thread were completely drooling over) and some other random model guy with blue eyes.

i never said either of them are "jaw dropping hot" the guys u posted are probably the "best of korea" or at least the most popular in looks, but none of them hold a candle to the "Best of hollywood " IMO.

im just providing a POSSIBLE theory as to why asian men are the " least desirable" among ethnic men . in the united states because of certain physical characteristics which is more common in asian men than white/black/latin men.

I've stayed out of this until now, because threads like this just end up making me incredibly angry sometimes--but I'm going to say something before it gets closed. I'm an 'almond-eyed' Caucasian girl (mixed backround, including Irish, English, with possibility of Chinese way back), and not only did I grow up in a kind of mixed area, but I live in a much more diverse one now. No one ( or something like 'cultural difference') has formed my opinion of who is attractive but ME...meaning no one has influenced me in any way but myself. I'm from the US, and I don't give a damn what America's opinion is about anything--including Asian men. Most of my friends are Asian, and all my male friends (and the people I like/love) happen to be Asian, and not just Asian American...but from Asia. This 'theory' about why Asian men might be the least desirable among ethnic men is based on what? Has every person attracted to men in the US been interviewed? You'd get a different answer from everyone. Men of other backrounds also have certain 'physical characteristics' of Asian men (all humans belong to the same Race). And it's not like all Asian men look alike, either (and stereotypes are also just that--stereotypes. I don't pay any attention to them. -__- Anyone that judges someone based on them is a fool--including basing their opinions of Asian men on what they see in media...) It's your opinion that none of the guys noodz posted or anyone else good-looking and Asian--could hold a candle to the guys in Hollywood. I'm not attracted by any of the guys that you posted pics of. That's my opinion. They all are similar in type--which isn't mine...and that's the only reason I don't find them attractive...it's not because I'm not attracted to Caucasian men. Good-looking is good-looking, no matter where they may come from. I don't find Colin Farell attractive at all. Or Jude Law (both turn me completely off), and I've never liked Tom Cruise... ever(Brad Pitt is okay)--or most Caucasian actors other people drool over. To me, Hugh Jackman is better looking, and more appealing overall. I'll take Lee Jun ki (who you started a thread about in Korean celeb pics) over any of the 'popular' ones, any day.

In your original post you asked about 'hot' Asian guys, and if someone could post pics of people 'comparable' to the hottest 'white' guys. Not an easy thing to do. It all comes down to personal opinion...what is appealing to an individual. Same for the girls. Some people go crazy of Kim Tae hui--and think Song Hye gyo is just ordinary.

You also touched on masculinity. People have different ideas about that, too--it's not all about huge muscles. What I see as manly--someone else sees as girly.

The subject at hand is a significant issue, not of any profound value, but significant enough because it exists in our world whether we like it or not. I don't like it at all, but it's not something that I'll subjectively discard just because it hurts my poor little feelings.

This discussion is clearly misplaced, a misconception of what exactly is the issue at hand. It was never really a core factor of attraction, but an issue of social empowerment and acceptance. Yes, asians can be "equally" attractive as whites, whatever that means... but this doesn't seem to be what CaliforniaSun is looking for. To inquire whether or not orientals can be on par with White males is nothing but an aftermath, a consequence of social oblivion and indifference, but this does not negate the fact that CaliforniaSun cares and shouldn't be so vehemently denied. CaliforniaSun is obviously just very inquisitive of the various social dynamics of influence for a reason.

Overall, this forum is the wrong place.

for you to say its not more common in asians to have flatter noses , shorter, etc. is crazy. asians tend to have certain physical features just like they TEND to have smaller eyes and black hair! asians physically are smaller than say blacks or whites.

just like blacks tend to have bigger lips or more curvy butts. that is just a physical feature. NOBODY is saying that every asian guy is short and flat face, every race has people that are short and flat face, but its more common for asian to possess certain physical characteristics.

But you know, I never said anything about physical differences. I said masculinity. And that feature is not ONLY defined by your nose characteristics and such. But you don't seem to understand that.

my point of the thread is not trying to display an inferiority complex by far. what im saying is that the majority of ppl prefer men with masculine features and it just so happens that white guys tend to have more masculine features such as high nose bridge, prominent jawline, height, etc. so that MAY be a reason for the concept of the undesirable asian male (And the negative images by the media dont help either)

whereas asian women (also have negative images in media) are somewhat more desirable because they generally are more petite and have delicate feminine features which many men like .

and so many people are saying the guys i posted are "ugly" out of spite of this thread

Yes that guy is hideous. And personally I don't really think a high nose bridge has much to do with masculinity. But then again, that is my opinion, and I wholeheartedly admit it, whereas you still persist with the whole "there is a definition as to what is masculine and what is not."
