Park Jin Young Reveals His Extremely Strict Health Routine

Singer and producer Park Jin Young has opened up about the strict routine that he follows in order to stay in shape.

On the December 15 broadcast of SBS Radio’s PowerFM “Two O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show,” the artist shared about his career ambitions, “I want to receive a Best Artist award. It becomes increasingly difficult to receive Best Artist awards as you get older, and that’s what makes me want one even more.”

Regarding the physical requirements and limits of being a professional singer, he said, “I honestly don’t think I’ll can be a singer who dances after turning 60. [This job] is so tiring. Every year I hold concerts, and I keep thinking ‘”Ah, I have 17 more years left’ and then cross one year off.”

“You must stick to a certain diet in order hold concerts. I absolutely love instant noodles and ddeokbokki (spicy rice cakes), but I can’t eat them. I eat instant noodles once a year, and even then, I only have a couple of mouthfuls. I can’t eat more than that. I can’t control myself,” the singer described his strict policy regarding nutrition.

“It’s necessary to adjust your diet to prevent aging. I want to be better than singers in their 20s when I’m 60. That’s why I’m doing all of this. After I turn 60, I want to eat everything that I crave,”  he laughed while discussing his motivations for sticking to his health routine.
