But i don't think they won't give us the so-called special episodes. Even i am pessimistic with the release of DVD and BTS.
antiherofans
10 minutes ago, clarissasan said: About HS's baby (just want to answer some of your question ), why she is already that big after being born and already has a full head of hair, apparently some babies can born with full head of hair I even search for it because I want to know how old was the baby when HS died. So there are two alternatives of time: 1. The baby was born with full head of hair and HS died shortly from giving birth. I don't really know what is the normal newborn-baby size but the size looks normal to me it's just the sound of the baby's crying that didn't sounded natural. I mean the baby looked so quiet when being shown to Jung by their maid but the sound of her crying was loud. It's weird lol 2. The time has already skipped for months (without proper acknowledgement to us) before HS died so the baby was already become bigger. Another clue was HS sent WS lots of letters (she started sending it after the baby was born) but still no reply after all those time. That lots of letter she sent indicate time has passed whether it's for weeks or months. Well there's probability maybe she sent it everyday, but HS believed that WS will immediately come after he read her letter so HS may have already waited at least for days/weeks before she start sending a new letter. Actually my baby was born that big and with that much hair . You can even see the hair when we do USG during pregnancy.
sweetpealover
Bittersweet Goodbye What a great Drama! There was some closure in the last episode: Why HaeSoo left the Palace If She ever returns back to her time There were a lot of questions that received Closure I am glad that HaeSoo's Child lives Outside the Palace with someone that will protect her. Even though, WangSo order Jung to leave the Child, it was a moment where they both agree and honor HaeSoo's dying wish. Plus, GoHaJin could be a descendant of the Hae Clan: From Future Jimong insight on her name This Drama had: Phantom of the Opera Back to the Future Fushigi Yuugi (Anime) The first films that Popped into my head when I first saw the preview I know that it is very, very Unlikely that there will be a Scarlet Heart 2, but like many others I do wish for a Second to get some peace for my heart... Or what is left of it. If the main love interest doesn't end up together in the end, why bother having a scene in the Future and the Past. Especially, when WangSo says "If we are not in the same world... I will find you... My.... Soo." Ahh....ugh, I'm tearing up again.... In the future they don't have to meet in a museum like in the Chinese version, They could meet on the Street like how they first met in Episode 1 when WangSo saves her from Falling off the Cliff and just add a dash of flashbacks to GoHaJin and some accident that makes them meet each other again and Volia. You get the idea. Even if some Sequels are bad (Please don't get me started) doesn't necessarily mean that the Second would be bad just add some Mind-Time Travel Twists and a different and similar tragic but happy ending Plot. The ending was Sweet but bitter, and Lee Joon-Gi is a Liar... He said it would be a happy ending. Sorry, I just need a different Drama to get my mind off of Scarlet Heart: Ryeo. I'm thinking about re-watching KDramas: Secret, Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, Empress Ki, Angry Mom, Don't Hesitate, Mirror of the Witch, Mask, just one that I know that the Heroine ends up with her Love no matter how many challenges or times I tear up when I watch it. Or maybe a funny one to balance out the Suffering in my Soul: Shopping with King Louie, Doctors, She Was Pretty, King of High School. Just Something that can get my Mind off Scarlet Heart: Ryeo before I decide to re-watch it again. Thank You for Walking this Path with Me. But It is time to move forward. So, go and don't look back. Just... not yet.

lazyme2day
HaeSoo's last words before she passed away was to forget everything, yet she has been dreaming and recalling all these events in her present day. It's a sign!! That JiMong probably has all his memories and is a time traveller! Damn it! Just give us our sequel! Please!!!
tinniet
MLSHR eps 20's rating 11.3%, ranks first against KBS and MBC drama Well at least it gets the highest rating for the final eps though I'd be glad if it managed to be 20 something.
sooji28
Wang So/Gwangjong has already said about this drama to all of us. It was Short and it was vain. I'm so exhausted. I've lost the will to scold.
Evangeline Yang
Now I start to think... this is a plot of SBS. To cut so many scenes to make the drama like a synopsis so that we will demand an uncut version. NOW I REALLY WANT THE UNCUT DIRECTOR VERSION!!!! Withdrawal symptoms at the highest peak now!

Popular Post ilovecoffeeandbooks
So the thing that got me as I rewatched episode 20 for like the fourth time (each time is different, I swear!) is that when Soo was at Jung's and she was drawing on the rock, she drew WS with his mask. Before episode 20, there was a big discussion (I'm too lazy to go back and find the posts) about how she missed the fourth prince and not the king. BUT when she was imagining that WS was there with her writing or drawing, she was picturing GJ. Now, I'm a blubbering mess at this part (well, pretty much all of it... I'm not ready to say goodbye) but it really showed that she loved ALL of Wang So, not just before he became king... She just wanted any little piece of him that she could get, masked or crowned. It just makes ending all the more poignant because even if she met him and he didn't remember her, she would still love him... she loves his soul not just his body (heh). I'm going to live in my little bubble and believe that he came back during the eclipse and was waiting to meet her in the museum, copy cat accusations be damned (can I say that word on here?) LA LA LA I CANT HEAR YOUR LOGIC Thank you everyone for being a part of this thread with me... it has seriously been a journey and I couldn't have made it without you! My husband is so sick of hearing about MLSHR that he sat down and watched it with me and then asked if I was over it now (as if, but hopefully soon!) You are seriously the best!!! Happy Drama Watching!!!
megamineko18
The SBS ending left me feeling MEH. The "happy ending flashback" did not make me happy one bit. i would have preferred if they ended with So / GG shot and he he said something like "we will meet in the next eclipse" or that Hae soo / Ha jin glimpsed upon a wang so look alike. is the international ending the same?
ZarraJae
@Rose34 I love your interpretation-it's so beautiful. When i saw it live, I knew I loved the ending and the drama itself but couldn't express why I did- now I know better. So thanks. HS also could not have been happy in Goryeo had she remained by WS''s side. As a woman, could she have been able to stand by him and watch him with the queen? No doubt she refused a title or be made concubine when he offered, no matter what, he was still king and that meant sharing him with other women. Such is the life and fate of women in those days! And same goes for BA and WH - the wretched life of a higher born woman whose life is bound to avenging her family and protecting her people- torn between her responsibility and the man she loves. The choices that they had to make may not have been the best but were the only options that they had. HS, WH and even Chae Ryung all had been selfless and made sacrifices for their men, be it for the men themselves or to the country. The men, both WS and BA finally admitted to this- that they had both been blind only to what they wanted and needed, without giving much attention to what the woman they love thought , wanted and needed. And didn't Wook summarise it perfectly - that he (and so did the rest of the men imo)did not show how they loved their women correctly until it was too late? :-D
ohgee
Finally watched Ep 20 with eng subs and it was way better now that I had a clear head. Still cried so much, even more than yesterday every time wang so appeared even if it wasn't sad. That look of loneliness in his face and the fatigue when bake ah left made me cry so hard. Now all I need is a new lee joon Gi drama where the ending will actually be happy. I'm waiting joon Gi.

Sorry to cut your post... but when i read about this new drama i thought the same!!! 9 hours ago, millie10468 said: Spoiler Ironically, Go Ha Jin's devastation at the end of the episode, when she remembers So and her love for him, is what finally convinced me of her feelings for him. That she really did love him. She did. I started tearing up (again) when she cried, saying "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I left you alone." I was like, yeah you are. But what is to be done? It's all too late... If you believe in Karma, then So was punished for everything he did wrong in his life, the killing of those monks, the people he's killed even if we weren't shown. He lived the rest of his life without his beloved Soo, his daughter, or anyone he genuinely cared for. Baek Ah left, Jimong left. He was left with people like Yeonhwa and the children with her that he treated indifferently. And Soo will also pay for the things she did in the past. Now that her memories have returned, she's essentially an amalgamation of Hae Soo and Go Ha Jin. Unfortunately, the newly returned memories will be so fresh and painful that she'll most likely be Hae Soo reborn for a long, long, long time. So lived 26 years without her but Soo will most likely live way more than that and even if she gets over it later, she'll never forget as long as she lives. I'm all for her suffering for the mistakes she made but dammit, Jimong. What, you saw her living life happy and decided that "Nope, she doesn't get to live easy while So suffered so much because of her"? What I took from the ending of this episode is that: So's pain and suffering ended at some point (that we can identify through his death) but Soo, sorry, Go Ha Jin's is just beginning and it's somehow worse because we don't even get a timeframe for when her suffering will end. So, friends, and all who were mad at Soo from previous episodes (me included), homegirl will and is paying for her mistakes so we should probably cut her some slack. Man... I love So. I feel so horrible about how his entire life was a sea of tragedy with sporadic moments of genuine happiness scattered through. His life began when he met Soo. And his life ended when he lost her But Soo...she really got dealt a really bad hand in life. She was used as a tool for history to unfold the way it was meant to and what did she get for her troubles? Torture, betrayals, lots of broken hearts, an unforgettable but devastating love...and a child she won't ever get to know... So if Go Ha Jin and ModernSo end up meeting somehow, I don't care if he doesn't have memories of the past. The thought that So and Soo's souls will finally get a chance to comfort each other in ways they weren't able to in their previous lives makes me hopeful and keeps me going... Couldn´t say it better!!! 7 hours ago, liddi said: Spoiler We have finally reached the end of this journey... and for the last time, I announce that Ep20 subs are now complete, with utmost gratitude to @ruizaio, without whom it could not have been possible. The SBS finale delivered a far more evocative, poignant end compared to its international counterpart, and while I am disappointed that it omitted references to Wook's son becoming king one day, on the whole, it is far superior in providing insights into Soo's thoughts in her last days. Will write more when I am more coherent... but for now, I give you once again, the version comparisons: Additional scenes from SBS version: 1. Soo's reminiscences of So, which is a different monologue [9:31 to 9:59] 2. When Jung realises Soo's writing is identical to the king's, he wrote on another envelope, signing his name as sender instead, and places Soo's letter inside it. 3. So and Ji Mong's discussion on the distribution of rice to the clans before the letter from Jung arrived [14:26 to 14:38] 4. Longer version of Soo's song being sung, and Soo recalls So telling her he loves her, the first kiss she gave him, their boat ride 5. A far longer, and evocative narration of Soo's letter to So [22:51 to 24:14] 6. Longer flashback of Won and Chae Ryung, including her letter saying she regrets nothing and resents no one. 7. Caption regarding Won's fate, that he was executed for treason [32:08 to 32:16] Additional scenes from International version: 1. After Soo's delivery, the doctor tells Jung that she is very weak. 2. Soo's letter slight differences in sequence and content - "Are you still angry over love and holding resentment?... I long for you. I also miss you. However, I cannot go to you. I have grown weary of the heartlessness of a kind man. I hope we can meet again one day in the garden." 3. Wook's conversation with Queen Hwangbo who reveals her ambition to crown his son as king. Wook is reluctant to have his children mired once more in the game of thrones. W: I don't understand why you insist on taking the children to the palace. Q: I spoke to the king regarding Prince Ju's birthday. He will need friends to play with. It was difficult, but I got permission. So pack up their belongings for them. You will have to explain to your wife. W: I... do not want them in the palace. Once I die... I'm sure the children will be released from this exile. Q: No, your children must become comfortable in the palace. I will make your son Chi into a king. [Chi becomes Goryeo's 6th king, Seongjong] W: What? Q: I cut off my dreams for you. I replaced them with Yeon Hwa. Still... I have not given up. Thank you so much.. do you know where to watch international version english sub? 5 hours ago, ktiminie said: Spoiler You can active Eng-Sub by clicking as below: thank you so much for the tip!!! i will try tomorrow (i need to go to sleep have to wake up early tomorrow.. real life sucks) so happy about the ratings and so happy watching (and saving) all those pics from the fan meeting (lucky girls) Right now as i read all your posts (almost) i´m listening to the ost and i must say how beautiful is the instrumental ost!!! love it (my fave Gesture of Resistance) i'm not ready to talk about the endind (maybe tomorrow) and i'm NOT READY say goodbye to this drama, i won't let it go... i rather say which were my faves scenes: - when the musician said she would sing the song that made the king fall for a court lady... i cried like crazy (i'm tearing right now as i write) i don't know why but it hurted so good.. btw i need that song... can some charitative soul please share -the last piggyback ride.. they looked so happy so in love (now i'm not tearing i'm sobbing)... runitaaa
I have made up my mind not to open this forum since Friday, I even uninstall my instagram to avoid any kind of spoiler! But that was worth it, I truly loves the ending, my hope is for the drama to give good ending despite it being happy or sad and boy how they delivers! I might need to pick up pieces of my heart and do rerun before I can wrote a long essay about the ending. But all in all, my life was a mess thanks to Scarlet Heart, but it is worth every emotion and tears I pour into this drama, now I can finally have my real life back (and wedding preparation on the way)

Silvermaine
Okay, now that I think about it, I don't think Hae Soo died believing So hated her. When the gisaeng performed her song, surely it must have been widely known in the artistic circle and even in the streets about this woman the king loved and the song she sang. She died knowing that the king of the nation probably told stories, spread word, or made performers sing this certain song in the palace.

shairli
Watching KGJ standing alone in that painting is devastating! Yes HS... now you know that you should not have left him! Will it be any different if HS stand by his side.. maybe. He may not be as ruthless as per what JM said. Why was everyone blaming KGJ for everything that had happened? Arent those people living in the palace should be more well educated? Actually I'm quite happy that till the end WS-HS did not meet. Then only WJ will be sole guardian of her child. Imagine the girl living in the palace with all the snakes. But, I would love to see more interactions & bonding between WS & his child + confession from WJ (as BA said, he should repent to the King for his actions). At least, the monologue of KGJ going to search for HS if there’s another world is commendable/assuring. Those 2 episodes ended in a blink of an eye. I even checked the recording time. The pace is so fast + choppy editing + crammed into 2eps + chronology of scenes. I don’t have time to mourn-embrace-cherish all the scenes/moments, frankly speaking I didn’t cry a river, just a bucket.. The feeling is not up to my expectation. It is more of unsatisfactory rather than sad. I wish it could be prolonged to 4 episodes. So much could be expanded but please.. no BA, JM & YH or Queen Hwangbo… unnecessary. Production team should have expanded the story in 21st century. Why JM could be reincarnated yet to another person? Should have been WS.. (of coz I want to see him as a 21st century man! ). Definitely going to read all the fanfictions in order to satisfy my feelings, that will be my closure. The only thing that I’m happy is WW died! YES! PD-nim Writer-nim… I will read reviews before I start watching your next drama or I may go straight to the ending and backtrack later. Btw, what about the HS’s diary? Should have expanded on that too… Eclipses-chingus of this forum.. you guys are fantastic! Thanks for sharing & reading my thoughts. At least the burden is lesser & I can smile happily everytime I'm in this forum
