Search within topic problems

I have been having problems when I attempt to do a search within a thread whereby the first page of the results show posts from the thread. However, subsequent pages return results from All Contents.

e.g.

When I search for a keyword within a thread, e.g. "Tiffany":

it returns 78 results over 4 pages. The first page correctly shows the results from the thread itself:

 

However, when I click on page 2 onwards, it shows me search results for "Tiffany" from "All Content" (a total of 672 results, 27 pages):

 

I noticed the following:

The URL for the initial search results is:
http://forums.soompi.com/en/search/?q=Tiffany&type=forums_topic&item=346454

However, all the page buttons, including the "NEXT" and ">>" buttons omit the text "&type=forums_topic"
e.g. http://forums.soompi.com/en/search/?q=Tiffany&item=346454&sortby=newest&page=2     (missing text "&type=forums_topic")

My current workaround is to manually add the text "&type=forums_topic" in order to view the rest of the results in the thread:
e.g. http://forums.soompi.com/en/search/?q=Tiffany&type=forums_topic&item=346454&sortby=newest&page=2 

 

Please advise if I am searching within a thread in the wrong way.

If not, can the bug I encountered please be fixed?
