Taeyang, SISTAR, Winner, BEAST, and More to Appear at Melon Music Awards 2014

The organizers of the Melon Music Awards 2014 have announced the lineup for this year’s event. Appearing will be the likes of BIGBANG member Taeyang, solo star IU, girl groups SISTAR and Girl’s Day, and boy bands Winner and BEAST. The organizers have announced that they have chosen their top 10 artists of the year; including the artists mentioned above, Akdong Musician, g.o.d, EXO, and 2NE1 make up the top 10. At the awards ceremony, the organizers will announce who will be given the “Best Artist,” “Best Song,” and “Best Album” awards. A special prize called “Web Users’ Favorite” will also be awarded on the basis of an online voting system. The event will be held on November 13 at 10 p.m. (KST), and will be shown on MBC Music, MBC Every1, and MBC Queen. The ceremony will also be streamed through the Melon website and 1theK’s YouTube channel.
