elevatormusic
^ you have to use the stamp tool but sometimes the white letter (or other things) are covering too much, and you cant do anything about it or it'll be really hard to do

You didn't write how you did when you tried to copy your images. I do like this when I want to copy a image and paste it onto a new one. CTRL + A (select all) CTRL + C (copy) CTRL + P (paste) When you paste into an another image, you need to click (to active it) on it first before pasting. Or you can always drag a image onto a new one. - apoptos dolor
Guest s3rene
I have a question. How do people usually make their images or graphics that were dull looking into glossy/shiny looking as in these posters? Credits: dorko bozo??? Guest aoura.
Hi, I was wondering how you color in the text? like in this picture - where it says Candy... Credits to CandyTown Sorry Im not sure how to explain it?
Guest lucky*13
^ I suppose the letters are selected by the Lasso tool one by one. Then you select the color of your brush and the size of you brush to color it in. There's something wrong with my eraser tool in my CS2. I just click the size of the brush to erase, and each time I erase, the part doesn't go away. It only fades away as I am erasing. I am using a 19 px brush on CS2, not the ones goes after that brush. Help please. Erasing on CS2 has made me very angry. ): NVM. My eraser's opacity was 62%. Stupid me. --Christy. (:
Guest Xena
An apology if this has been asked. I'm a total Photoshop novice but impatient as hell to create something *tugs at artistic impulse!*). Can anyone help with a step by step idiots guide in how I can create two things? 1st# how can I put a signature/with image onto images, like this: 2nd# (more ambitious, I know!) how can I impose another image into a different background, like this? Thank-you so very much. <

But for those two posters, I would say that the creators used some blur filters. For the first one...maybe motion blur or something and for the second one - smart blur. However...to make dull/dark pictures become more shiny/lighter...you can always play some tricks. Either adjustment options or duplicate the image two times; one set to softlight and the top one set to screen. But it also depends on the image you're working. Play around with the options until you're happy with the result. A finish touch can be brightness/contrast. An apology if this has been asked. Guest lucky*13
^ I think you should sweep your computer. Virus sweep, not sweeping. I have never experience this kinda prob except when I open a window and it saids "Window can't be opened due to an error occured" or something like that. I hope that helped. --Christy. There is different blending styles...but I think this is more basic and easy for all newbies. Any questions can be pmed to me or asked here so anyone can help. Guest Tailo
Also, I cannot locate the feather tool in my PS. O.O I don't know if you've found it yet, but whenever you're using a selection-type tool (e.g., Marquee, Magic Wand, etc.), there is an option on the top toolbar that says "Feather". Set that to '0' for a crisp selection, or to a larger number for a rounder and more tolerant selection.
