OMG

BW broke my heart ... first when he met BY but couldn't hear what she was saying and then he was saying "goodbye" to her

and true LM was really beautiful in this episode and seeing how concerned she was toward BW I think that she has some feelings for him

which I think is a bad timing because BW seems to want to isolates himself from everyone in order to achieve is new goal..

But I hope that the writers won't turn BW inhuman ...

"Six Flying Dragons" came in first despite a slight drop in percentage.

According to Nielsen Korea, SBS drama "Six Flying Dragons" rated 14.6% on the 18th. This is 1.2% lower than the previous episode but still in the lead

Bang-won (Yoo Ah-in) listened in on Jeong Do-jeon (Kim Myeong-min) and Jeong Mong-joo's (Kim Eui-seong) conversation.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV "Moorim School" and MBC "Glamorous Temptation" rated 3.7% and 12.5%.

Blame the writers or directors. :P:P:P

Bang-Won should have tied a topknot way ealier, especially since he married. But I guess the writers wanted to make his topknot a symbol for a departure from his childhood (or a separation from teacher Sambong).  LOL

The flowing locks like Bang-Won's hair means "I am not married" or "I'm a kid"

If a man get married, or if he is recognized as a grown-up man even if he is unmarried (for example, if a little boy is appointed as a government officer), the man should do hair up in a topknot. It's the hair style like teacher Sambong's. It is called Sangtoo (상투) in Korean.

Guys, in my opinion, Jung Do-Jeon wants to establish Jung Mong-Joo as the prime minister of Joseon in this drama. That's why he always says Jung Mong-Joo is really important for his new country and he needs Jung Mong-Joo.

So, my prediction of upcoming events in ep 31 has come true. :phew:

I forgot who aked this, but Sambong Jung Do-Jeon already got married in this drama. I remember, in ep. 1 or 2, there was a scene where Sambong went home and his son was calling him "Father".

@homuraI am reading Taejong's rain in korean website, and just use google translation to translate every words. Amazing how koreans welcomed the Taejong rain until now. I am wondering about the Imjin war, it did not rain right on may 10 and they believed it a prophecy from King Taejong that a japanese are coming? It really rain mysteriously? Is there no scientific explantion for the taejong rain? After reading articles about him, having a great sons esp. Prince Horyeong and King Sejong and the the Taejong rain, I have come to believe he is a god who came down from heaven to rule..:phew:

[HanCinema's Drama Review] "Six Flying Dragons" Episode 31

photo676516.jpg

Bang-won has a bit of a hero complex. Normally when stories portray this as a bad thing, it's in the immediate sense. Like, our would-be hero is so completely dedicated to rescuing people that he completely disregards his own safety in the process, that kind of thing. In Bang-won's case, the problem is shaping up to be long term- our protagonist is so dedicated to saving Korea he can't stand the idea that someone else will do it instead.

In more charitable terms, of course, we can attribute this to Bang-won not being sure that Do-jeon's plan will work. But that's one of the awkward parts of seeing this story take place from several hundred years in the future. We know that, even from the most charitable point of view, King Taejong reign was filled with brutality not too much different from what we're seeing in "Six Flying Dragons" right now, and it wasn't until King Sejong that genuine reform of Goryeo era corruption finally managed to happen.

"Jang Yeong-sil - Drama" normally suffers from comparison to "Six Flying Dragons" although in this case the comparative irony is pretty difficult to ignore. In the former drama King Taejong keeps talking about all the heroic work he went to in order to wipe out Goryeo. He's apparently either oblivious or just plain uncaring of the fact that every time he turns around and the threat of physical force disappears his subordinates just continue doing what they were doing before.

It's sad watching Bang-won in "Six Flying Dragons" start to dip into that same thought process. You've got scenes like the whole frolic in the snow where Bang-won is showing vulnerability, fear, joy, and nearly every other kind of human emotion imaginable. Contrast that with the way Bang-won has to convince himself he's doing the right thing by engaging in tactics that undermine his friends. What's worse, Bang-won has to make deals with people he doesn't necessarily trust.

Most of the rest of the cast doesn't have much to do except react to Bang-won. While that somewhat limits the extent to which "Six Flying Dragons" can be a true ensemble piece, given how difficult it's been to follow the story lately, I'm grateful that at least one specific theme has been clearly identified. It's not a question of what's going to happen, but how. Who's going to pick what side in the upcoming power struggle, and why?

Review by William Schwartz

"Six Flying Dragons" is drected by Sin Kyeong-soo written by Kim Yeong-hyeon, Park Sang-yeon and features Kim Myeong-min, Yoo Ah-in, Sin Se-kyeong, Byeon Yo-han, Yoon Gyoon-sang and Cheon Ho-jin

I personally think that BY will end up supporting BW. Since there are six dragons, it would only be fair if it is Team JDJ and Team BW camps each consist of three dragons. LSG and LBJ would definitely support JDJ, so that leaves MH and BY. MH is BW's bodyguard so he would join BW's camp. BY would waiver but I think ultimately she would be on BW's side.

Six Flying Dragons

Mydaily - Naver: 'Six Flying Dragons', Yoo Ah In who turns his back on Kim Myung Min, reversal starts

1. [+3,523, -238] Lee Bang Won isn't as wicked of a villain as Yeonsan. He is his own man and he has great ambitions. Things will turn bloody if his opponents decline the opportunity he gave them. Without Lee Bang Won, there wouldn't be King Sejong and  Hangeul (Korean alphabet) wouldn't be invented. Bang Won isn't lenient but he no doubt played a huge role in our history

2. [+1,805, -63] Bang Won and Boon Yi are filming their sageuk version of 'Winter Sonata'

3. [+1,381, -71] Yoo Ah In is really awesome

4. [+1,161, -60] I really love Yoo Ah In's emotional acting

5. [+981, -35] Is he finally transforming into Kill Bang Won ?~~

6. [+422, -6] Lee Bangji is hard to figure out.. He's the most suspicious to Cheok Sa Gwang

7. [+426, -17] Yoo Ah In's acting is really amazing

8. [+322, -15] How could a 50-episode drama be this amazing? ㅠㅠ

9. [+299, -9] Chills all over when he said "I'm not a kid anymore"

10. [+234, -8] This episode's ending is really pretty ㅠㅠㅠ♥♥

Newsen - Nate: 'Six Flying Dragons', Yoo Ah In's evil side is starting to come out

1. [+269, -4] I'm too anxious that he'd recklessly succumb to his evil side but Ha Ryun will guide him well

2. [+249, -7] Yoo Ah In is really jjang. His acting got me so focused the entire time. It's so sad to see how the bug is swallowing him completely ㅠ

3. [+243, -7] Jung Mong Joo -kill
Jung Do Jeon - kill
His brothers - kill
Everyone - kill
Kill Bang Won is coming...!!

4. [+27, -1] What exactly is that old lady's identity? She seems like a shaman that comes in like a ghost whenever a crisis erupts and sometimes she just feels like a grandma of low social status but an important character

5. [+21, -1] I can't wait to see Yoo Ah In's hateful antagonist acting soon like what he showed in Veteran!!!!! Looking forward to Lee Bang Won - Ha Ryun comboㅋㅋ

6. [+17, 0]  Lee Bang Won broke my heart when he was crying in the end ... .

why they have to brake up :scream: we didn't get any kiss yet :bawling::bawling::bawling:

They didn't break up. Bang-Won just told her with tears in his eyes "The (childlike) play is over. I can't play with you from this out". It was a farewell to his innocent childhood.

In Ep. 32 preview, Bang-Won also told her "Don't call me my name." Actually, it was breaking the social norm for Boon-Yi (a girl from the lower class) to call Bang-Won (a boy from the noble class) his name, like "Bang-Won-a!" or "Yi Bang-Won!". Many Korean viewers have thought her attitude as rude and criticized the SFD writers. In those times, names were so precious that they couldn't be called carelessly. That's why noblemen used another name like Sambong, Poeun, Woojae, and Hojeong which could be freely called by any one from any class.
