[Event] Ji Chang Wook attends Chanel Mademoiselle Privé exhibition

Amid his busy schedule, Ji Chang Wook made time to attend Chanel Mademoiselle Privé exhibition at the D Museum in Seoul today.

To be held from 23 June till 19 July, the exhibition will cover the history and collection of Coco Chanel, founder of the luxury brand Chanel, and its chief designer Karl Lagerfield.

Besides Ji Chang Wook, the event was attended by famous celebrities including his “The K2” co-star YoonA, G-Dragon and Taeyang from Big Bang, CL, actresses Park Shin Hye, Jung Ryeo Won and Han Ye Seul, actors Lee Je Hoon and Nam Joo Hyuk among others.

Congratulations to Ji Chang Wook for taking the top spot in June’s brand reputation rankings for drama actors!

The Korea Business Research Institute conducted an analysis of 125,441,267 pieces of data of 50 actors starring in ongoing dramas between 16 May 2017 and 17 June 2017. The research looked into aspects such as consumers’ brand participation, media mentions and engagement level. This was a 67.69% increase from the 74,806,906 pieces of data analysed in May.

 

In first place, Ji Chang Wook scored 1,532,055 points for participation, 556,836 for media mentions, 1,249,820 for engagement, 7,905,172 for community engagement and a total of 11,243,884 points for brand reputation.

 

In second and third place are actresses Kim Ji Won from KBS drama “Fight My Way” and Wook’s “Suspicious Partner” co-star Nam Ji Hyun, respectively.

The report also analysed the links mentioning Ji Chang Wook, and it was revealed that comments such as “handsome” and “like” were the most common. Keywords related to him included “Suspicious Partner”, “Instagram” and “Nam Ji Hyun”.

Overall, comments about Ji Chang Wook were 84.93% positive.

‘Suspicious Partners’ News Update: Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun’s Romance Intensifies

 

 

Just recently, reports regarding "Suspicious Partners" told that the romance between Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun's character is getting nearer. As a matter of fact, the basis for this speculations are the cute stuffed animals spotted in the series. What could that mean?

According to Soompi, Eun Bong Hee, portrayed by Nam Ji Hyun, owns an adorable stuffed bunny named as Uh Jjoo. The said bunny is kept beside her bed all throughout the story. Later on,  the stuffed animal of Bong Hee became two as Ni Ji Woo won an identical bunny from a claw machine.

Fans then speculated that the coming together of two stuffed animals would also mean an intensified romance between Ji Wook and Bong Hee. As a matter of fact, the former kissed and confessed his love for the latter when the stuffed toys became visible in the series. As someone predicted, the two will be together real soon just like what had happened in the two stuffed bunnies.

It was later confirmed that the stuffed bunnies were a great sneak peek regarding the romantic relationship of Ji Wook and Bong Hee. The show's production team also told that as the romance between the two flourishes, fans should expect that more scenes with the stuffed animals.

As they stated: "Just like the two bunnies, the romance between Ji Wook and Bong Hee is blossoming. Please keep an eye out for the stuffed animals in upcoming scenes too."

Meanwhile, recent reports admitted that the ratings for "Suspicious Partners" began to rise up when Episode 17 and 18 showed the kissing scene of Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun's character. It was then told that the ratings of the said series are getting close to the high ratings of "Ruler: Master of the Mask".

Two of the videos show the filming of the first official day of their characters’ romantic relationship in the drama. Nam Ji Hyun’s character Eun Bong Hee kisses Ji Chang Wook’s character No Ji Wook as a gift for their first day together; however, No Ji Wook seems to want more than that and appears frustrated by her restraint. The video reveals the funny antics that went into creating that comedic scene in the drama.

SBS must know that fans just can’t get enough of Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun’s chemistry because there just seems to be no end to the behind-the-scenes videos from “Suspicious Partner”!

The most recent video shows how THAT kiss scene came about, as it shows the two actors rehearsing the movements before filming. As usual, Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun’s lovely and bubbly chemistry can be seen as the two entertain each other while waiting.

At one point, Nam Ji Hyun asks the director if they should back up towards the direction of the bedroom for one of the shots. The director responds that they shouldn’t and Nam Ji Hyun nods her understanding; however, Ji Chang Wook doesn’t let the moment pass by without teasing Nam Ji Hyun and said, “How could you possibly think of something like that?” which causes both Nam Ji Hyun and the director to burst out laughing.

She responds, “As soon as I said that I wondered if you were going to say something and, of course, you did!” Ji Chang Wook continues to tease her and says, “Wow, our Ji Hyun is an adult…,” to which Nam Ji Hyun explains, “I was just worried that we would trip while walking backwards!”

Noh Ji-wook (Ji Chang-wook) and Eun Bong-hee (Nam Ji-hyeon) were ill-fated.

On the latest episode of the SBS drama "Suspicious Partner", Bong-hee asked Ji-wook if he was hiding anything from her. He said no, but Bong-hee didn't believe him. She asked him if she did something wrong and Ji-wook said, "It's not about you, it's about me". Bong-hee asked, "Can't I ask what it's about?"

Ji-wook was after his parents' murder and he knew Bong-hee had something to do with it.

In the end, Bong-hee broke up with Ji-wook. She let go of his hand and said, "We should stop seeing each other".
