[Magazine] Ji Chang Wook to feature in Yi Zhou Femina

Just a mere few hours after Ji Chang Wook left Shanghai upon the end of filming for “Mr. Right” to return home to Korea, Chinese fashion magazine 伊周Femina (Yi Zhou Femina) released previews of its cover and photos for its upcoming February 2016 edition… featuring none other than Ji Chang Wook!

The magazine will go on sale 23 February via local China booksellers.  (We are unsure of any international sales at present, and will update once more news appears.)  For now, enjoy the previews!

Not true.  "Fabricated City" is presently in post-production and is tentatively set for a July 2016 release.  Hopefully more news will be released now that Wook has returned to Korea!

that is why i came here to ask you after seeing those pics bec. there were no watermarks, the album only says "magazine PP Korea" i tried to google for "JCW PP magazine korea" but couldn't find those exact photos.....thank you again,

OMG!!!!! The Yi Zhou Femina Magazine is so to die for!!!! Wookie in white and laying in white sheet like that omo omo omo...i'm so dead hahaha. He has such charms that are so addictive. [Magazine] Ji Chang Wook becomes cover boy for “Chic Elegance” magazine

It’s magazines galore this month as Ji Chang Wook is featured in yet another Chinese magazine after Yi Zhou Femina. This time, it’s for the March issue of “Chic Elegance (小资风尚)”. 

You may recall his Weibo post from some time ago, where he posted pictures from the photo shoot of this magazine. According to the magazine’s official Weibo account, a Korean photographer was specially hired for his feature, which will comprise of 8 exclusive pictures and an interview, taking up a total of 12 pages of the magazine.

All Korean males must serve in the Korean army for 21 months, which often leads to K-pop groups missing members during promotions, or, more often, having to put a hold on group promotions altogether. The age limit for enlisting is 35, but most celebrities end up doing it in their late 20s. [Event] Ji Chang Wook to hold fan sign at Konus Myeongdong

Ji Chang Wook will be having a fan sign session in Seoul to mark the store opening of fashion brand Konus in Myeongdong. Event details are as follows:

Date and time: 5 March 2016 (Saturday), 11am-12pm
Venue: Konus store at the 7th floor of Lotte Department Store Main Branch in Myeongdong

*Note: There are many Lotte Department Stores in South Korea. The address of the main branch is 81, Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul. The mall is directly connected to Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station on Seoul subway line 2.

Numbered tickets for the fan sign will be given out to the first 100 customers on a first-come-first-serve basis at two separate locations.

The first batch of tickets will be given out from 26 till 29 February to customers who make a purchase of more than 33,000 won at the Konus store at Lotte Young Plaza Myeongdong (Note that this is a different Konus branch. Lotte Young Plaza is situated next to Lotte Department Store in Myeongdong). A total of 40 tickets will be given out, with a maximum of 10 tickets per day.

The Konus store at Lotte Department Store Main Branch will open on 4 March, where the remaining 60 tickets will be given out to customers who make a purchase of more than 33,000 won at this store.

On the day of the fan sign, your position in the queue will depend on your time of arrival at the venue. The number on your ticket has no effect on this.

[Event] Ji Chang Wook attends launch event of Gentle Monster eyewear

It’s been a while since Ji Chang Wook made his appearance at a fashion event.  Now back in Seoul, Ji Chang Wook met the press this afternoon at “The Butcher” Gentle Monster 2016 Presentation Show.

Held at a factory owned by Daesun Flour Mills situated in the Yeongdeungpo district of Seoul, the event was organised by Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster to mark the launch of their 2016 collection that is “based on the motif of ‘The Butcher'” and “reimagined as Metallic Red”.

Besides Ji Chang Wook, the event was also attended by actresses Gong Hyo Jin, Lee Da Hae and Lee Yeon Hee, and actors Ji Sung and Joo Ji Hoon.

He’s been in the city working on the show for three months, and he plays a man who goes from a lowly entry-level employee to a chaebol heir overnight, while his co-star Wang Xiao Chen suffers the opposite fate when her ultra wealthy family is suddenly forced into bankruptcy. Several news reports are flying left-and-right today stating that Ji Chang Wook has accepted the lead role in upcoming Chinese drama “The Whirlwind Girl – Season 2” (Xuan Feng Shao Nu – Di Er Ji / 旋风少女第二季), a planned sequel to the popular “The Whirlwind Girl” that aired on China’s Hunan TV in the summer of 2015.
