Hello Everybody!

Since I couldn't find thread where we could bash/talk/fangirling/fanboying over  Trouble Maker so I decided to make one.

Btw. I am surprised that there weren't one.  Especially when their second mini album came out. Anyway, it's time to change it ^^  

So here is some little introduction  for those who for some reasons don't know them:

Trouble Maker is a sub-group formed in 2011 by Cube entertainment. It consist of Beast's Jang Hyunseung and 4minute's Kim Hyuna.

Trouble Maker debuted with their self-named lead single and mini album "Trouble Maker". On November 25, the unit started revealing teaser photos for the album, revealing a private-party concept. The duo also gave a teaser performance at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards. The mini-album consists of 4 tracks; the title track "Trouble Maker", a ballad song called "The Words I Don't Want to Hear", a collaboration song from HyunA and Rado called "Time", and a solo song from Hyunseung called "Don't You Mind". The MV for "Trouble Maker" was released on December 1st. Trouble Maker went on to win the triple crown on M.net M! Countdown for "Trouble Maker".

On October 4th, 2013 Cube revealed that Trouble Maker will make their comeback. A representative said, "We have established their comeback as Trouble Maker to be made on the October 24 episode of Mnet's 'M! Countdown'.  On October 23, a teaser video and photo was released showcasing a sexy concept. Their second mini album - "Chemistry" -  will be released  on October 31, 2013. There title track is called "There is no tomorrow'" and its MV was released on October 28th

Trouble Maker to have their 1st comeback stage on 'Show Champion'

You holding your breath in anticipation for Trouble Maker to redefine sexy on stage, luckily you don't have to wait long!

The duo released their sizzling MV for "Now" just yesterday, and they'll have their first comeback stage on 'Show Champion' to meet all their fans on stage again on the 30th! This performance will also be broadcast on the regular MBC channel on November 6th as well.

"Now" is a co-production by both Shinsadong Tiger and Rado. Cube Entertainment said, "'Now' is actually connected to their previous single 'Trouble Maker'. Since they're both very talented in performing, there will be a lot of dramatic points on stage."

The duo is also planning on a special limited version album in the middle of November, so stay tuned!

Trouble Maker sweeps an all-kill with 'Now'

Trouble Maker has swept across the charts with their new song "Now"!

Their songs were released at midnight KST on the 28th, and they've swept Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Olleh Music, Naver Music, Daum Music, Cyworld Music, Monkey3, and Genie, winning them a #1 throughout the board.

They've been at #1 for 10 hours since they released the song. Their other songs on the album "Turn Up the Volume", "The Girl Who Wants to Play", and "I LIKE" are also ranking on the charts.

The duo will be back on 'Show Champion' in a few days, so stay tuned!

Trouble Maker involved in controversy for similarities between 'Now' MV and Rihanna's 'We Found Love' MV

Unsurprisingly, Trouble Maker has become the hot topic of discussion lately with their comeback. However, it is not just their sexy image that is being discussed, but also their MV's similarity to Rihanna's MV for "We Found Love." It appears that in the on-line community, the MV is under great scrutiny and in the midst of a plagiarism controversy.

Online screen captures from both MVs were uploaded side-by-side for comparison. Such captures include these moments: standing by their car and hugging in a field, drifting cars, throwing something at a wall, drinking alcohol and throwing up, having fireworks near their car, and having love scenes both in the car and their house.

Based on these pictures alone, there do appear to be a few similarities between the MVs--well, enough so that at least some netizens are convinced of plagiarism. However, it is hard to say at the time and the agency has yet to address the situation.

On the internet, netizens wrote, "Hallyu~ saying Hallyu when you steal a famous American singer's MV; aren't you even embarrassed?" and "It appears the producer has no sense of pride since he stole someone else's idea."

I watched "we found love" video and in my opinion those mvs are two different things. They have two different vibes although  both mv  were inspired by Bonnie and Clyde story ( I read it somewhere) . We can't deny that there are some similarities, but I think those scenes were needed matched well in  both concepts.  And it's too harsh to call it plagiarism...but that's just my opinion.

And my silly thought from the statistic point of view regarding this pseudo-plagiarism incident: Rhianna's mv views will increase because of that. haha

Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko Donates Car for Trouble Maker’s ‘Now’ MV

 The attention grabbing, head-turning, sensual music video for Trouble Maker’s “Now” features Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko’s car.

Within 17 hours of the October 28 release of Trouble Maker’s music video “Now,” the music video garnered on Youtube a whopping 1.7 million views, decisively establishing the duo’s popularity.

Trouble Maker, comprised of 4Minute’s Hyuna and BEAST’s Jang Hyun Seung, conveyed a tumultuous relationship that grasped both physical and emotional aspects of two lovers. Notably, the owner of the car in which the duo filmed their high leveled love scenes raised the curiosity of many.

The director of the “Now” music video, Lee Ki Baek, stated on his Twitter, “When I first took up this plan I thought it was strange, but it seems to have destructive powers. The picture in the car is Gaeko’s car that he borrowed out to us.” The car in the spotlight is an 1890-1990 produced BMW E30 model that produced an retro style atmosphere throughout the filming.

The music video concept of “Now” was modeled after the 1930’s criminal duo, Bonnie and Clyde, and the song was produced by Shinsadong Tiger and Rado.

Trouble Maker’s official album for “Now” will be released on October 31, while the rated R special version of the album will be revealed in mid November.

I read some comments that those videos are exactly the same.  and I don't know if I am blind or something... I don't get the fuse around it...

 To be honest, I've only heard WFL song and never seen Rhianna's mv up till now, so I didn't seem to notice the issue before. Some scenes are similar ....but not all of it. So comparing those videos as a whole thing  I really can't call it plagiarism.  But it is also hard to believe in such coincidences with this fireworks scene etc.  

It's just a shame that TM is suffering because of others mistakes. 

But to think of it, I can't imagine "Now" mv without them. It just matched in concept so well. 

There has been also some rumors about Korean Beast and 4minutes fandoms war. Is it true ? Why?anyone knows something about it? (if I may ask...don't want to create here some war    :)>-  )

regarding fanwar: I'm not Korean and I don't belong to any fandom either, so for me  it's hard to say what is going on an why. I just read some post on Beast thread and it made me astonished ( not in a good way): shouldn't they support each other and their idols in this situation and not be jealous about concept? 

As long as I am listening to kpop, some situations  never will stop surprising me. Why fandoms are so...I don't know how to say this...mischievous and aggressive in some way?
