*** “Curtain Call” is off to a strong start just after the premiere of its very first episode! Curtain Call Korean Drama - Kang Ha Neul and Ha Ji Won

 

Curtain Call is about an old woman (Go Doo Shim) who fled North Korea and was separated from her husband and child. She sets up a hotel in South Korea and hopes to reunite with them before she dies. An unknown theater actor (Kang Ha Neul) pretends to be her grandson in order to fulfill her last wish and gets involved with the woman’s granddaughter (Ha Ji Won).

 

Curtain Call airs Monday and Tuesday on KBS.

*** OST production company FlexM pre-released OST Part.1 “Waiting For You” for Monday-Tuesday drama “Curtain Call” on various music sites at 6 PM yesterday Oct 31st. The drama premiered on the same day at 9:50 PM. KST. Baek Ji-young is the one who sang this song. After that, the drama will sequentially release music with Sumi Jo, Kim Na-young and Song Yu-vin.  :twerk2:

*** With its second episode, “Curtain Call” has seen a dip in viewership rating after its strong premiere. According to Nielsen Korea, last night, which was November 1st broadcast only managed to accumulate a viewership rating of 3.1 percent, dropping down by 4.1 percent from its outstanding viewership rating on Monday. This may be due to the fact that it aired an hour later than its normal time due to the broadcast of a baseball game on KBS2.   :heart3:

*** “Curtain Call” is still going strong as it enters its second week of broadcasting! According to Nielsen Korea, the drama episode that aired last night, November 7th garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 5.7 percent, showing a very large 2.6 percent increase from the previous episode’s score of 3.1 percent.   :loveu:

*** It’s been a quiet week in ratings, with many broadcasts cancelled during South Korea’s week of mourning. That being said, the show did go on for a good number of our dramas. "Curtain Call" premiered high only to fall dramatically the following night.   :cry:

*** Kang Ha Neul appeared in 2 Days 1 Night as part of promotions for "Curtain Call". When asked whether he preferred to have a cat or dog as a pet, he said he would like a cat more than a dog. He liked cats, even though he can’t have one for a pet because he’s allergic to them. Between being the best-looking against the smartest one, he chose to be the smartest one. He chose cold over hot, reasoning that more clothing could warm the body. In contrast, when feeling hot or warm, it doesn’t get cooler when one takes off even all clothing, especially without air conditioning. He also said it was more acceptable to have his partner break up with him to be in a relationship with someone else instead of being ghosted. For him, having someone break up with him to be with someone else merely meant his partner found someone better than him. Ghosting meant his partner was already fed up with him.   :loveu:

*** KHN  is famous for his unique personality due to his good personality and how people always have good story to tell about him. The photo of him expressing his apologies with his hands tightly put together because he couldn’t take photos with his fans in the past was famous online. He sang at his acquaintance’s wedding even though he was busy filming, and at the request of his mother, he even went to the wedding of a person he had never met and sang them a congratulatory song. In the past, he was a In the past, he's a son who served and helped whenever he had time at the kalguksu restaurant run by his parents in Gimpo. After he became famous, the business of his parents’ store also boomed. He went to the store whenever he had time to help his parents despite being a popular actor.
