*** Park Seo Joon found a hilarious way of promoting his new film, 'Concrete Utopia'.  On July 21 KST, he used his Instagram story to "call out" a mysterious Instagram user. He wrote, "Who the heck are you? You know what, let's never face each other in real life. Or else one of us might be put in real danger."  He tagged the Instagram page of a user named Minseong (@min_castle0809). Who is Minseong? First, his profile reads, "Nick and Judy couple's newlywed life."  The description of his profile image reads, "A cherry  blossom date with Myunghwa in the neighborhood. Kekeke the way she's hiding behind me is kinda cute."  Hahaha - Minseong is his fictional character in the new film 'Concrete Utopia'! The story is - Minseong is married to Myunghwa, played by Park Bo Young. It seems that Minseong's Instagram account was created for purposes related to the movie. Very cute and clever! Good promo for the movie. 'Concrete Utopia' premieres in theaters across South Korea on August 9!   :heart2:

*** In the latest trailer of “The Marvels”, Park Seo Joon can be seen dancing with Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel. Here, they also added the caption of “This fall, #TheMarvels take flight. Watch the brand-new trailer, and don’t miss Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel’s cosmic team-up, only in theaters November 10.”  In his brief appearance, he can be seen dancing with Brie Larson on a dance floor. On the other hand, according to US media Entertainment Weekly, Park Seo Joon’s character is known to play “an ally to Carol” (Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel). Moreover, Funko merchandise for “The Marvels” suggested that Park Seo Joon will assume the role of “Prince Yan”, the prince of Aldana, a planet where marriages are preordained and everyone speaks in rhymes. If “The Marvels” follow Vol. 8 of the “Captain Marvel” comic, the dancing scene in the trailer will likely depict a storyline where Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) acts as the bride of Park Seo Joon (Prince Yan).   :piggydance:

Are you a pluviophile—a person who finds joy and peace listening to the pitter patter of raindrops? Rain can evoke many emotions in people such as nostalgia, loneliness, or just a sense of serenity. Rain has also often had a deep significance in K-dramas. From a passionate kiss shared under a downpour which marks the start of a relationship, to a life-changing incident with serious repercussions, rain has always been a metaphor for beginning and endings, healing and reunion.

Check out these dramas that are great to watch on rainy days!

She Was Pretty

She-was-pretty-5.jpg

Ji Sung Joon (Park Seo Joon) has never forgotten his childhood crush Kim Hye Jin, the pretty young girl who befriended him in school. She understood him like no other whilst the rest ignored or mocked him. Years later, he returns to Seoul, this time as the much in-demand and quite the dishy magazine editor. His sole mission once back is to meet Hye Jin (Hwang Jung Eum) but has no clue about what her grownup version looks like. Hye Jin in the meantime is hustling between several part time jobs, and her looks are no longer defined as pretty as they did when Sung Joon had last seen her. But Sung Joon is earnest to see her. He carries an umbrella with him, which has a deep significance in his life, and the only person who understands it is Hye Jin. Hye Jin, conscious about her looks, sends her best friend in place to meet Sung Joon instead. She thinks she has successfully avoided seeing him until she lands herself a job at the very magazine Sung Joon heads. Though Sung Joon is initially exasperated with Hye Jin, he finds himself wondering why this frizzy-haired and red-cheeked girl reminds him of the young Hye Jin. His doubts are confirmed when she shields him from the rain as she had many years ago, since only Hye Jin knows how the rain immobilizes and traumatizes Sung Joon, and it was she who helped and supported him through it.

“She Was Pretty” is a breezy rom-com and a fun ride as the young couple braves several misadventures and misunderstandings to be together. Choi Siwon also scores big on the second lead syndrome with his cocky yet cool charm.

Park Seo Joon, portraying Min Sung, who struggles to protect his family, and Park Bo Young, playing the role of Myung Hwa, determined not to lose her beliefs, enrich the narrative by portraying a couple grappling to protect each other amidst the extreme disaster.

*** Park Seo Jun was seen dissing his closest celebrity friend V during his recent interview on July 27 together with Lee Byung Hun and Park Bo Young on a popular YouTube channel MMTG. During the interview, the host Jae-jae mentioned his poor dancing skills that he demonstrated in KBS' drama 'Hwarang. Park Seo Jun laughed at her honest comment and said, "Okay, I must admit that I'm not a good dancer. But I danced that way on purpose. My character was bad at dancing, so..." With eyes filled with suspicion, Jae-jae asked, "Did you really purposely dance that poorly?", and Park Seo Jun answered, smiling, "Yeah, I'm not lying!" She said, "Speaking of V, he's your good friend, right? I discovered an interesting video of you two at an event together." Then, she showed a video of the Park Seo Jun and V posing for press photos before attending one past event, and Park Seo Jun instantly turning unhappy after witnessing V tilting his head to the side and blowing a kiss with his hand toward the cameras. Park Seo Jun stated, "Okay, let me be real here. I guess I can only say this because we're close. But seriously, I hate seeing him slightly move his head like that, trying to be cool. I just can't stand seeing him doing that sort of thing. Every time I see him doing that, I'm like, 'Why the heck does he do that?' The surprising thing is though, it always looks remarkably natural on camera. I found that kind of fascinating.", he laughingly added.   :Megalol:
