Some of you have seen BTS photos of Lee Min Ho in a wet suit, filming a surfing scene in Malibu Beach for Heirs, and now, here are the official stills.

When the scene was filmed, Lee and the crew coped with the intense heat, and amid his busy schedule, Lee received surfing lessons. Riding those waves may have been difficult, but the actor found the experience fun.

Korean actor Lee Min-ho has enjoyed surfing at Malibu’s Beaches while shooting much-awaited drama series “Inheritors.”

Last week, Lee went surfing beneath the sun of Malibu located in Los Angeles, U.S., acting out his top inheritor character Kim Tan’s joy and sadness at the same time, the show’s promoter 3HW COM said in a press release Thursday.

Lee had taken surfing lessons during his hectic filming schedule, showing his differentiated affection to the water sports by picking up the surfing suit by himself, 3HW explained.

“The waves were higher than I thought, so it wasn’t easy to advance but gave me more fun. I appreciate our filming crew who jumped into the sea together for shooting lifelike images. Me and the crew all got browned by the sun glaring down,” Lee was quoted as saying.

Co-starring popular actors Park Shin-hye, CNBLUE’s Kang Min-hyuk, Kim Woo-bin, f(x) Krystal and ZE:A’s Hyungsik, the series centers on love and friendship among upper-class high school students.

Written by acclaimed scriptwriter Kim Eun-sook of “Gentleman’s Dignity” and “Secret Garden,” the upcoming drama is set to premiere on SBS on October 9, taking over the baton from current series “Master’s Sun.”

Ji Seong VS Kwon Sang-woo VS Lee Min-ho

A new battle has begun between the three broadcasting companies now that Chuseok is over. Fierce new dramas take over Wednesday and Thursday nights with different genres.

The first drama to be mentioned is the KBs 2TV drama "Secrets".

"Secrets" was pre-sold to Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and other Asian countries even before it was shown in Korea and it tells the story of a man who falls in love with the woman who kills his lover.

The cast includes, Ji Seong, Hwang Jeong-eum, Bae Soo-bin and Lee Da-hee. Ji Seong takes on the role of a plutocrat named Min Hyeok who has everything but humanity. This drama is being anticipated as one that will bring KBS back to life this fall.

The next drama is MBC "Medical Top Team" which is about the best doctors in the country in a group who battle to make miracles happen. It will air on the 2nd of October.

Whether or not the public's attention for medical dramas will continue for "Medical Top Team" isn't sure yet. The cast includes, kwon Sang-woo as Park Tae-sin, Jeong Ryeo-won, Shinee Minho, Oh Yeon-seoand more.

Lee Min-ho from "Boys over Flowers" comes back as a prince once again. He stars in the SBS drama"The Heirs".

This drama is a romantic comedy dealing with wealthy students and their love and friendship. The story revolves around a poor girl and a bunch of wealthy kids who are heir and heiresses to the wealthiest entrepreneurs in the country. It is written by hit maker Kim Eun-sook.

This drama shows off a good load of popular stars including Park Sin-hye, Kim Woo-bin, Krystal, Kang Min-hyuk, Kim Ji-won-I, Choi Jin-hyeok, Hyung Sik and more.

Lee Min Ho rocks the surfer look for ‘The Heirs’


Upcoming SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘The Heirs’ (script: Kim Eun Sook, director: Kang Shin Hyo) sees #LeeMinHo cast as Kim Tam who is the heir of Empire Group and seems to have everything, but he actually has a sad past that he keeps hidden in his heart. He will be romantically involved with the characters played by Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Ji Won, CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk, and f(x)’s Krystal that promises to be full of twists and turns.
The production team has today released photos of Lee Min Ho going surfing at Los Angeles’s Malibu Beach which was filmed on September 17th. Lee Min Ho is cast as Kim Tam who is the heir to Empire Group and a member of the 0.1% of Korea’s upper class. To perfectly reprise his character’s elite background, the production team specially chose a foreign beach setting for filming. With his outgoing appearance, Lee Min Ho still had to display the special hurt of his character, but he still wowed everyone at the site with his sweet mesmerizing smile.
With his perfectly proportioned body, Lee Min Ho looked really stylish with his surfing outfit. Coupled with Lee Min Ho’s perfect surfing poses, it was no wonder that everyone at the set were just left amazed at the sight. To enact the high class yet natural mood, Lee Min Ho had specially went for surfing lessons despite his busy schedules, and showed his professionalism.
Lee Min Ho also discussed with staff, and personally picked out his surfing gear. The production team had nothing but praise, “Undoubtedly the heir of Empire Group, he has shown his glittering aura.”
It wasn’t all smooth sailing during filming, as Lee Min Ho met with big waves, but he was still able to complete filming eventually with his determination. After filming, he said with much passion, “The waves were really big so we couldn't venture too far into the sea. But it was really interesting. To get vivid footage on camera, the staff even got into the sea with us, and it was really tough for them. The rays from the sun were also very strong, and one could really get tanned even if he was wearing a surfing outfit. All of us have become really tanned. For those who are suffering for ‘The Heirs’, fighting!”
The production team said, “The overseas filming schedules for Lee Min Ho are really tight, but he still had a great sense of responsibility and passion, and was determined to see it through. As an actor, he is really hard working and a professional. Although it was really tough to be filming under the hot sun for extended periods, he never displayed any signs of fatigue, and always had the welfare of the staff as his topmost concern. We were really touched by his gesture.”
‘The Heirs’ sees the first collaboration between screen writer Kim Eun Sook who previously did ‘Secret Garden’ and ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’, and Kang Hyo Shin PD who last did ‘Tazza’ and ‘Midas’, and is highly anticipated by viewers. ‘The Heirs’ depicts the friendships and love lives of young, rich heirs who form 1% of the upper class of Korean society, and Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye), who is considered ordinary and comes from a poor family. 
The drama will make its debut on October 9th in place of ‘Master’s Sun’.
