It's not unusual for animated films to feature the voices of celebrities such as actors and singers. So, when films are dubbed into Korean, producers naturally turn to Kpop and Kdrama celebrities to breathe new life into the same animated roles.

For example, it was recently announced that Seung Yeon from girl group Kara and actor and 2Am singer Jung Jinwoon would dub the Korean version of the animated fantasy advanture "Epic." Seung Yeon will dub the voice of Mary Katherine and Jinwoon, who appeared in "Dream High 2," will dub the voice of Nod, roles played by Amanda Seyfried and Josh Hutcherson in the American version. The Korean version opens in August.

In trying their hand at dubbing, Seung Yeon and Jinwoon are following the animated example of actress Kang Sora.

The actress is best known for playing the roles of Ha Chun Hwa in the film "Sunny" and Shin Hae Sung in "Dream High 2." But she also dubbed the voice of Princess Merida in the Korean version of the Pixar film "Brave." Kara's natural performance as Merida, a skilled archer who causes chaos in her kingdom, won praise from the voice director. The director noted that dubbing is not easy, even for a veteran actress.

ah, must post this!!!I was scrolling thru in the juhwan baidu bar and came across this observation someone pointed out.sora's bracelet fell off and she prob. didn't have any pockets to slip it into, so juhwan seemed to notice and kindly put it in his pocket for safekeeping.kyaaaaaaaaa ><!!!! such a sweet man.i really really love this couple in 'ugly alert'!!! the 'joonhee' couple as i call them. and sora is amazing in her role =) i look forward to everyday watching them.

Kang So-ra and Park Se-yeong

Actresses Kang So-ra (23), Park Se-yeong (25) and Kyeong Soo-jin (26) are bringing along much needed rain in the drought of young actresses.

The three have been chosen as leading roles in the three main ground-wave broadcasting companies.Kang So-ra stars in the SBS daily drama "Ugly Alert", Park Se-yeong in the KBS 1TV daily drama "Sweet Springs" and Kyeong Soo-jin stars in the KBS 2TV drama "Eun-hee".

Kang So-ra stands out the most. From "Sunny - 2010" to "School 2013", Kang So-ra whips up a different character in "Ugly Alert" as a proud and mature fashion expert.

Park Se-yeong is one of the fastest developing stars in her 20's. She started acting in 2011 and starred in "The Equator Man", "Love Rain", "Faith" and "School 2013". She's now landed herself in the daily KBS drama "Sweet Springs" which is a guaranteed check to high viewing percentage. She takes on the role of an orphan who dream of becoming an announcer.

Kyeong Soo-jin also catches the eye. She's been chosen as the lead role in the generation drama"Eun-hee" based during the Korean War. She debuted with "The Equator Man" last year and has developed a speedy growth until now. The entrance of young actresses at a time where the 30's has taken over in "The Queen of Office" and "Shark" is very welcoming. If they continue doing their best and earn their respects, they should go a long way.

배우 강소라가 ‘못난이 주의보’ 방송 후 한층 늘씬해진 몸매에 대해 입을 열었다.
13일 SBS 일산제작센터에서 진행된 SBS 일일드라마 ‘못난이 주의보’ 주연배우 기자간담회에 참석한 강소라는 “잠을 못자고 있어 살이 빠지고 있다”고 말했다.
앞서 강소라는 드라마 제작발표회 당시 다이어트에 성공한 듯한 몸매가 화제가 된 것에 대해 “다이어트는 따로 하지 않고 자세교정을 했다”고 말한 바 있다.

강소라는 “현재는 밤샘 촬영이 많아 잠을 잘 못 잔다. 지금은 굶어서 살이 빠진 상태”라고 설명했다.
그러면서 강소라는 “나는 밤에 먹으면 아침에 심하게 붓는 체형이다. 고등학생 신을 찍을 때는 상관없었지만 도희는 샤프하고 늘 예민해 있는 캐릭터”라며 “촬영이 거의 늦게 끝나 다음날신을 위해 어쩔 수 없이 굶고 있다”고 고충을 토로했다.
이날 기자간담회에는 강소라 외에 임주환, 김태준이 자리했다.
‘못난이 주의보’는 부모로 인해 한 가족이 된 네 남매를 담은 드라마로, 서로를 질시하고 무시하지만 가족이란 테두리 안에서 서로를 이해해가고 차츰 서로의 상처를 치유해 가며 성장해가는 진실한 가족의 사랑 이야기다.

‘못난이’ PD “임주환·강소라·최태준, 순수한 배우”

[OSEN=권지영 기자] 신윤섭PD가 배우 임주환, 강소라, 최태준에 대해 “순수한 마음을 갖고 있다”라고 칭찬해 눈길을 끌었다.

신 윤섭PD는 13일 오후 SBS 일산제작센터에서 진행된 일일드라마 ‘못난이 주의보’ 기자간담회에서 “1999년부터 연출을 해 왔지만, 이렇게 순수한 마음을 갖고 연기하는 배우들을 만나기는 드물다”며 “드라마 내용이 착해서 그런지 본인들이 갖고 있는 순수한 마음이 고스란히 나오는 것 같다”고 말했다.

이어 신PD는 “이 배우들하고 작업하면서 나도 마음이 깨끗해지는 것 같다. 이 드라마 통해 배우들이 잘 됐으면 좋겠다”며 “젊은 배우들이 고생을 많이 하고 있다. 열심히 해줘서 행복하다”고 덧붙였다.

임주환은 극중 사기꾼의 아들에 살인범으로 10년을 복역하고 가석방으로 출소한 공준수 역을 맡으며 최태준은 냉정한 마음을 가졌지만 도희(강소라 분)를 알게 되면서 변화하는 공현석 역을 맡았다. 

한편 '못난이 주의보'는 한 남자의 대가없는 희생을 통해 진정한 가족애와 소통을 그린 드라마로, 동시간대 시청률 1위를 기록 중이다. 매주 평일 저녁 7시 20분 방송.

강소라는 6월 13일 경기도 고양시 SBS 일산제작센터에서 열린 SBS 일일드라마 '못난이 주의보'(극본 정지우/연출 신윤섭) 기자간담회에서 "일단 잠을 못 자고 있고 밤에 뭘 먹으면 얼굴이 부어서 못 먹는다"고 살이 빠진 이유를 공개했다.

앞서 강소라는 지난 제작발표회 당시 다이어트에 성공한 듯 늘씬한 몸매로 화제가 됐을 때 "다이어트는 따로 하지 않고 자세교정을 했다"고 털어놨다.

강 소라는 "학생 역할 때는 그려려니 했는데 도희는 샤프하고 늘 예민해 있으니까 실제 나도 더 예민해진다. 촬영이 거의 아침에 끝나는데 밤 사이에 어쩔 수 없이 굶고 있다"며 "얼마 전 우동 먹는 신을 찍었을 때도 다음날 바로 얼굴이 부었다"고 고충을 토로했다.

한편 '못난이 주의보'는 착한 드라마로 각광받으면서 선전하고 있다. 최근 두자릿수 시청률에 진입했으며 동 시간대 경쟁에서도 이기고 있다. (사진=SBS)

'방' is short for 방송(broadcasting)

It refers to TV programs about food/restaurants or scenes from movies/tv shows where someone is eating.

**폭풍흡입
'폭풍' means storm 
'흡입' means sniff or inhale

If combines together '폭풍흡입' it becomes a joke word that means eating food too much and quickly. This word used mainly by the young people as a trendy word.
