Hellooooos! Been a while. Hope everyone's fine! Thought to pop by and do a 'phantom of the opera' lurker-Hi to all sunnies new and old~~~ Actually, have not been lurking/visiting since last I posted...alot to catch up if I can...

Also I have been to our Hye Sun's homeland! Didn't go to Mandolin, partially chickened out, partially didn't "put it" on the itinerary. Maybe on my 2nd visit I guess then will I get promoted to stalker status hahaha!!! Anyhow, it was overall an enjoyable trip to the land of the morning calm

Quick check: Is koohs on Twitter still valid? I visited and got a strangely empty page...what happened?

HELLO SUNNIES :-h Finally im done reading the NYAFF MAG..let me just share you some info..there were 15 SOUTH KOREAN movies that were picked to join this years filmfest and they have the most numbers of movies that were screened..each movie was screened once except for one which was screened twice..anyway from what i've checked almost all south korean movies shown were mostly blockbusters in korea if not all except for THE PEACHTREE but what surprises me is that there were a lot more romance movies but they took PT instead..but then i hope next time GHS movie would be screened in a better time so more people can watch her movie..YES i hope she will be in her next movie although while watching PT i could feel her presence..oh by the way all the sk movies except for PT and odd couple the directors were all male and GHS is the youngest..my 2 friends said she should concentrate on directing but I argued with them because I don't want her to waste her other talents too but I don't know hahaha I'm confused too because I don't have those talents. But I miss her bigtime as an actress !

@StaRix (ricca) Thanks for ratings news. Yay! Ratings went back up! Hope PH viewers continue to enjoy AB. I am rewatching AB slowly. I am up to episode 5. Still laugh at the funny parts. Still can't find PH version with English subs. Watched parts of episode 1 in Tagalog. Don't understand a word but the intonations are different, thus one get a different viewing experience! LOL

@prettywiz.  Thanks for the extra info. Seems like PT must have made an impression on the selection committee of NYAFF. If HS stops acting, it will be a waste of her acting talent. She can do so many facial expressions(antis call it overacting.Nah!) that very few actresses can do. I feel there are so many characters she haven't even touched, so please don't stop acting . Me too, really miss her acting. It has been nearly 2 years. Best act 1 year, the next direct a movie, then back to acting,,etc.
I also feel she needs to act to finance her movies unless she can find outside investments, which is scarce and hard to find. So HyeSun-ssi please ...we await your next acting project!

Wonder when is the documentary going to show at MBC? Anyone knows?

I watched The Peach Tree in Youtube, with no Eng sub, and I can say that it is a beautiful movie with a very good plot. I am looking forward to watch it with Eng sub!

Thank you @sukreen for introducing us in" wonder -land KOO HYE SUN " ! You give us the opportunity to visit "MANOLIN", a dream other way untouchable for many of us ,at least for me ! Very pleasant tour with warm, enfolding atmosphere , mysterious sometime ,waking up the curiosity to know ,to find out ,to smell ,to taste ,to wonder who is that man in black, painted from behind , who is that person cover with that muffler ? Step on to the mystery itself ,strange sometime, still magnetic , leaving you with a big wish to know more ,to see more .Still comfortable ,still feeling like this can be your house ,wishing to be your house ! Thank you ,this was a great gift ,now I can say again "ET EGO IN ARCADIA SUM !(I, also, was in ARCADIA - similar with heaven )  THANK YOU !

최근 진행된 SBS ‘화신-마음을 지배하는 자’ 녹화에서 MC 봉태규는 김지훈에게 “그동안 구혜선, 임정은, 조여정, 이수경과 스캔들이 났었다. 스캔들의 진실이 무엇이냐”라고 질문을 던졌다. Recently SBS's variety show HwaShin was recording. The MC Bong TaeGyu confronted Kim JiHoon for the truth about numerous rumors surrounding him with various actresses like GHS, Lim JungEun, Jo YuJung and Lee SooGyung.

이에 김지훈은 “연예인의 입장에서 스캔들에 대해 말하자면, 아니 땐 굴뚝에 연기가 나진 않는다. 분명히 뭔가 땔감이 있기 때문에 연기가 난다”라고 답했다. KJH responded with: " To speak about scandals as an actor... without starting the fire, there cannot be any smoke coming out of the chimney. There has to be some type of firewood for the smoke to appear."  (????)

김지훈의 발언을 들은 출연자들은 집요한 추궁을 했고, 김지훈의 진땀을 뺐다는 후문. The report is that all those who heard KJH's statement demanded more clarity from him and that KHJ was made to sweat.

김지훈의 스캔들 고백은 16일 ‘화신-마음을 지배하는 자’을 통해 공개된다. SBS's Hwashin will air on July 16th.

Having been a GHS's fan since BOF days, I have since learned that it is rare that the stars tell truth about their love life unless they want to or are caught and cannot get away with it any more. So, I am not expecting anything different from KJH---but GHS denied the rumor with KJH when she was interviewed while BOF was still filming. She said at that time that she felt bad that such rumor occurred and felt sorry to KJH but that she actually had interest in someone else at that time. She did not reveal her feelings to the mystery guy at the time of the interview. But she found out from a very reliable fortune teller that the mystery guy was also interested in her.
