It is already nearly 9 AM in Korea, I believe.

She will soon be a guest at the Lee Hyun Woo's Music Album radio program.

His program is supposet to run from 9~11 according to DCfans.

So we do not know when HS may come out as a guest. It is also suppose to be a visual radio program.

I did not hear of any news that Isao Sasaki is also invited or not.

Maybe she will sing her own song in Music Album??? Hopefully!!!

I sincerely hope that she is getting more than enough financial backing

to actualize her dream of making a full-length movie.

In Japan interview on the 7th, she mentioned that she still does not have a satisfactory investor.

With all the work that she has done so far to advertise her qualifications as a director,

I hope she receives good news soon.

Winter is fast approaching and she hopes to crank it up by then.

I remember posting a few pages back about HS's hair and someone said it was hair extension. Noticed she has the same length hair in a few new pics and was wondering if it is really hair extension or did our girl's hair really grew that long? She looks absolutely gorgeous with long hair!

모자를 쓰고, 가방을 메고, 수수한 모습으로 혼자! 솔로!로 오신 구혜선님!

그런데 정말 설마 였습니다!

얼굴도 예쁜데, 음악도 잘하고, 그림도 잘그리고, 연출까지...

대부분 이런 사람들은 성격이 별로잖아요;;

요즘은 하늘이 공평하지 않다는 말이 딱인가봐요.

성격도 좋더라구요!!

피아노 연주 하실 때, 떨리셨다고 하는 이야길 살짝 들었습니다 ^^;

그리고 이사오 사사키님은

한국말을 다 알아들으시는 것 같았어요.

뭐 물론 아니겠지만...

어느 정도 알아들으시는 것 같았고,

오시자마자 풍기는... 그 편안함에...

저도 모르게 '안녕하세요~~'를 했으나,

역시나 잘 받아 주셨습니다.

역시 거장은 다르긴 다른가 봐요.

마지막에도 가시면서 공손히 인사까지 우리나라 말로 해주셨지요!!

Well, it is about to start!

그런데 정말 설마 였습니다!

Well, I never knew she would really do that!

But it was really true!

She has a pretty face, great in music, great in art, even in directing....

Most of the time, people like that have terrible personality.

It seems to be correct what they say--that Heaven is not fair.

Even her personlity is great!!

I do not become easily attracted to all women +_+ My eyes were dazzled.

I even felt more attracted to her down to earth manners.

She came alone without her manager! I never thought she would just grab a cab and come to the studio...

Her manager came later~>_<

As soon as she came in, she looks at the scenario notes, braids her hair so prettily and blindly shows off her beauty,

I heard faintly that she was a bit nervous when she played her piano.

그리고 이사오 사사키님은

한국말을 다 알아들으시는 것 같았어요.

뭐 물론 아니겠지만...

어느 정도 알아들으시는 것 같았고,

오시자마자 풍기는... 그 편안함에...

As soon as he arrived, I sensed his aura of comfortableness..

Automatically, I greet him in Korean ~~

Naturally, he was so receptive

It seems that Great Artists are different.

Before he left, he was so polite and said good-bye in Korean!!

피아니스트 이사오 사사키(오른쪽)는 "아버지와 딸 같은 나이 차이지만 잘 통하는 음악 친구"라며 탤런트 구혜선 씨와 함께 웃었다. ＜김재훈 기자＞

탤런트 구혜선ㆍ피아니스트 이사오 사사키 피아노 연탄곡

가을을 시기하는 폭염이 심술을 부리던 날이었다. 소설과 그림 전시회, 단편영화 감독에 작곡 음반까지 발표해 부러움과 질투를 동시에 받고 있는 '멀티 엔터테이너' 구혜선 씨(25)와 한국인 감성을 사로잡은 일본 뉴에이지 피아니스트 이사오 사사키(56)가 만났다.

31세 나이 차이에 말도 안 통하는 두 사람이 만난 이유는 순전히 음악 때문. 사사키가 구씨 작품 '별별이별'과 '골목을 돌면'을 연주했다. 이 선율은 구씨 작곡 소품집 '숨'(YG엔터테인먼트)에 수록됐다. '별별이별'은 사사키의 한국 동요 앨범 '더 웨이 위 워'(스톰프뮤직)에도 담겼다.

지난 8일 흰색 옷을 맞춰 입고 서울 충무로 매일경제신문사에 들어온 두 사람 눈빛은 맑았다. 하이힐 탓인지 TV에서 본 것보다 키(163㎝)가 더 크게 느껴지는 구씨는 겸손한 미소를 띠었다. 사사키 씨는 탁자에 이마가 닳을 정도로 90도로 인사했다.

자리에 앉자마자 두 사람 인연이 어떻게 시작됐을까 그 답부터 찾았다. 혈액형 A형이라는 것 외에 공통점을 찾기 힘든 이들은 두 달 전 처음 만났다. 구씨가 감독한 단편영화 '유쾌한 도우미' 배경음악으로 사사키의 '스카이 워커'를 넣고 싶어 먼저 연락했다. 선뜻 승낙하는 그에게 용기를 얻어 구씨는 자신이 습작한 작품들을 보냈다.

일본에서 이 곡들을 받은 사사키는 "아마추어치고는 훌륭했고 악상도 독특했다"며 "구씨를 만나 이야기를 나누면서 그의 음악세계와 볼펜으로 그린 몽환적인 꽃 일러스트들이 이해가 갔다"고 말했다.

지난 4일과 8일 그와 나란히 피아노에 앉아 연탄곡을 친 구씨는 "내 건반 터치가 미흡해도 잘 맞춰주셨다"며 "서로를 너무 배려해 지금까지 한 번도 부딪힌 적 없었다. 선생님 음악은 희망차서 좋다"고 설명했다.

첫인상은 어땠을가? 구씨는 "사사키 선생님은 교수님 이미지"라며 "한국 사람처럼 편하게 느껴졌다"고 기억했다.

내년에 한국 활동 10주년을 맞는 사사키는 "비행기에 타면 스튜어디스가 한국어로 말을 건다"며 "한국인 같다는 말을 많이 듣는다"고 웃었다.

두 사람 음악 우정은 당분간 계속될 예정이다. 구씨는 다음달 사사키 전국투어 '위드 유'(10월 11일 서울 예술의전당~18일 부산문화회관)에 동행해 피아노 연탄곡 등 2~3곡을 직접 연주할 계획. 사사키는 음반 수록곡인 한국 동요 '반달' '오빠생각' '과수원길' 등을 들려준다.

서정적인 치유 음악으로 유명한 사사키 연주는 1998년 한국 어느 카페에서 처음 흘러나왔다. 연인과 그 음악을 즐겨 듣던 사람이 이 곡 연주자를 찾아 헤맨 끝에 사사키라는 존재를 발견했고 정식 음반이 판매됐다. 카페 주인은 제목도 모른 채 그의 음악을 틀었다고 한다.

사사키는 "한국에서 받은 사랑을 동요로 되돌려주고 싶다. 한국 동요 감성이 일본과 비슷하다"며 "1998년 불황으로 음악을 그만두려 할 때 한국 음반사에서 활동 제의가 와서 다시 피아노 앞에 앉게 됐다"고 회상했다.

한 국에 깊은 애정을 갖고 있는 그는 2001년 일본 취객을 구하다 사고를 당한 고 이수현 씨를 위한 추모곡 '아이즈 포 유'을 헌정하기도 했다. 사사키는 "음악을 통해 한ㆍ일 교류를 계속하고 싶다"며 "이번 음악회에서 한복이라도 입을까 생각 중"이라고 웃었다.

이번에 피아노 연주 실력까지 보여준 구씨에게도 또 한 번 놀랐다. 신은 너무 불공평한 것 아닌가. 그는 "그림과 음악, 소설 모두 영화 제작 과정"이라고 했다.

최근 첼리스트가 등장하는 미스터리 음악 영화 '구술'(가제) 제작을 추진하고 있다.

구씨는 "원래 촬영한 다음에 음악을 정하는데 나는 다른 방향으로 풀고 싶었다"며 "대중과 먼저 친해진 음악을 담고 싶었다"고 설명했다.

그에게는 요즘 '구오나르도'라는 새로운 별명이 생겼다. 다재다능한 천재 예술가 레오나르도 다빈치를 빗댄 것. 구씨의 넘치는 재능을 약간 비꼬는 느낌도 있다.

" '얼짱'으로 연기를 시작할 때도 '낙하산 연기자'로 보더군요. 저를 부정적으로 생각한다면 열심히 노력해서 인정 받아야죠. 그래도 저를 보고 긍정적 자극을 받는 사람들도 있어 다행이에요. 피아노를 그만두려 했다가 제 연주를 듣고 다시 시작했다는 분도 있어요."

노력으로 대중의 의심을 지우며 살아온 그는 열정이 들끓는 청춘이다. 자기 한계를 긋지 않고 끊임없이 도전하기 때문. 최근에는 기타와 바이올린을 배우고 있다.

"그렇다고 절대 막무가내는 아니에요. 수없이 실패한 끝에 얻은 기회에요. 학생 때부터 직접 쓴 시나리오를 들고 영화사들을 찾아다녔지만 매번 거절당했어요. 시행착오를 겪으면서 '왜 나는 안될까' 고민하면서 정답을 찾았어요."

슬픈 일이 있으면 그림을 그리거나 글을 쓰고 작곡을 하면서 위로를 받는다는 구씨. 사람 마음을 끌어당기는 힘을 갖고 있었다. 상처를 달래주는 사사키 음악도 마찬가지였다. (02)2658-3546

Wow!!! I was always hoping HS will collaborate or get to work with Yiruma someday. And to my surprise I see a photo of them together with Lee Hyun Woo and Isao Sasaki. First, Isao Sasaki now it's Yiruma that is so cool! I'm so proud of her! She gets to work with the piano legends! I hope someday she gets to collaborate with Yiruma! I am also a big fan of his work besides of Isao Sasaki's of course. thanks for the updates nina67, susamerica, mintcar & pink fairy! I enjoyed reading the commentary article by Lee Hyun Woo, I wasn't surprised when he mentioned GHS took a cab to go to the KBS studio without her manager...I guess she really loves to take the public transport by herself, she's just down to earth! ^^

Her concert, her compositions, her japan fanmeet -- they were all a success! congratulations to our GHS,,she truly is incredible. susAmerica thank you so much for the trans..i got to quote hyun woo's commentary here coz almost everyone that GHS meet for the 1st time seemed DAZZLED by her beauty - they always say she looks extraordinarily pretty in person--it makes me wanna see her more keke.. but more than her physical beauty, they always mention how great her personality is. Hyesun has proven her talents to everyone, but what amazes others all the more is how humble she is, given the amount of talents she exhibits. Sorry about the misunderstanding, I was not referring to you talking about Minsun, I was just referring to some of the other posts before you that were about Minsun.
