dear_skye.

i'm gonna give you some pointers. i'm not saying you suck because i was at this point sometime in my life too. Anyways, i'm looking at your graphics and i think controlling your use of colors, and white space is very important. The colors you used are fine but when you control it, the over all image is more catchy.

as for the white spacing, i think you tend to have too much space or too little space. For an example, your second round (3rd/green one) has lots of space of which you could've filled it up with more filters works and more colors or even better, resize the photo to blend evenly together.

When I'm talking about too little space, the example would be your recent round. The photo is captured really nicely but then the text/font is on his handsome face. To fix this, find areas or add areas so you don't over lap his image.

this is just my 50 cents. i'm no greater than you are and no less. I'm still learning ps also.

In no time, you'll be great in photoshop!

I know I have no colour sense. I just can't seem to match colours very well. What sucks even more is that I know I am not colour blind. I choose fine colours but I don't know placement. This is when I need practice eh? ^__<

T__T I have lots of improvement since I just started photoshopping this summer and school has made me just lazily zoom by everything I do. =/

jas: mhm, agree wtih skye, your fonts are kick-butt! i like how at the top of your graphic there's that orange-y color. and yeah that covers the whole graphic, gives a romantic look. is it a texture? hmm, my PS terminlogy isn't that well
