The first trailer for the much-anticipated film ‘The Huntresses‘ (formerly known as ‘The Joseon Beautiful Three Musketeers‘), starring actresses Ha Ji Won, Kang Ye Won, and Ga In, has finally made its online debut.

A bit over a minute long, the clip gives good insight into each of the three female protagonists. The trailer introduces Ha Ji Won as the charismatic leader, Kang Ye Won as the married swordswoman, and Ga In as the fist first and talk later kind of person.

Directed by Park Jae Hyun, ‘The Huntresses’ is an action-comedy film set in the Joseon Dynasty that revolves around three, beautiful musketeers who fight against a group trying to overthrow the royal family and take over the nation.

The film is set for release this May.

Korean film ‘The Huntresses’ reveals first teaser

Upcoming Korea film ‘The Huntresses’ starring Ha Ji Won, Kang Ye Won, and Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In, has recently revealed their first teaser, showing the beauty and brawns of the 3 leading women in all its full glory.
The teaser attracted much attention with its big-scale sets and visual effects. The crime scene analysis scene, the imposing look of the evil doer, and the numerous weapons wielded all added to the stylish nature of the top 3 huntresses in the Joseon era in the film.
With Ha Ji Won saying, “Start?” the 3 huntresses begun their fight, and the beautiful choreographed fight scenes are definitely a match against men. The use of a yoyo ball, darts, giant kite, and others all added a fresh breath of air and gave viewers a taste of something different from the usual period fighting films.
Ha Ji Won plays the role of all-rounded leader Jin Ok who is intelligent, has good fighting skills, and a master of disguises; Kang Ye Won is Hong Dan who is the only married woman among the trio, is a ditzy character who views money like her life depended on it; Finally, Ga-In plays the role of the youngest member Ga Bi who prefers fighting over talking.
‘The Huntresses’ will officially greet viewers in cinemas this May.
