Ha Ji-won will be attending the 74th Venice International Film Festival, taking place from Aug. 30-Sept. 9 this year.She is currently filming the upcoming television miniseries “Hospital Ship” (unofficial translation) but will be taking time off to go to Venice, departing on Sept. 6. 
Ha plays an enchanting killer and will be showing off an action-ridden performance. 

Ha will not be attending the Toronto International Film Festival, to which “Manhunt” has also been invited. TIFF runs from Sept. 7-17. 
The starlet will be giving interviews and attending events alongside director Woo at Venice.

What a difficult question !!!! I really really can't choose between these 5 ...I really really love all of them ...but ...for modern drama mb a little little high is K2H cz LSG-HJW incredible chemistry ... but for historical drama sorry it's very hard cz all of these are piece of art the best of the best and very different from each other ...Jiwonnie versatility is outstanding !!!

Cast Of Medical Drama “Hospital Ship” Shares Their Thoughts On Living Together On An Island

MBC’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday medical drama “Hospital Ship” tells the story of a hospital crew that travels on a ship to provide medical services to island villages. The main settings are the ship and the island, which is why the drama’s cast and crew will be living on Geoje Island during the period that they’re filming the drama.

Ha Ji Won, who plays the skilled surgeon Song Eun Jae, took most of her belongings to Geoje Island. She revealed that she felt like she was Song Eun Jae who is leaving Seoul and heading for the island in the drama. She said, “I even brought my favorite olive oil and seasonings. On my birthday, my fans sent me daily necessities to use on Geoje Island, and they seem to know me even better than I know myself.”

CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk, who plays the internal physician Kwak Hyun, didn’t bring as many of his belongings, but instead he brought “a fluttering heart and passion.” He explained, “Living on Geoje Island helped me concentrate on acting because I’m actually living on an island and not just pretending to. The way Kwak Hyun volunteers to become part of the ship’s crew and gets accustomed to living on an island will be shown more realistically.”

Lee Seo Won, who plays the traditional Korean medicine specialist Kim Jae Geol, shared that he easily gets hot and packed anything that will help him cool off. He also brought books to study so that he can spend each day on the island more fully. He said, “Rather than worry, my heart was full of joy on my way here. All of the actors and producers are working hard while filming, so I’m working harder too. It may sound unfamiliar, but a ‘hospital ship’ exists in real life. There will be many interesting things you will discover through ‘Hospital Ship.'”

“Hospital Ship” will premiere on August 30 at 10 p.m. KST.

Ha Ji Won on working with CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk and their 13 year age gap

August 28, at a press conference for the upcoming MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “Hospital Ship,”Ha Ji Won talked about co-starring with CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk, who is 13 years her junior.

Ha Ji Won said, “There is an age gap, but when we’re filming, we become our characters. [Kang Min Hyuk] fits his character well, and nothing about [working together] is unfamiliar or difficult. Filming is really fun, so working on this drama has been a blast.” The actress also expressed thanks to Kang Min Hyukand Lee Seo Won: “They are actually the ones that take good care of me, so I’m thankful for that.”

On why she chose to join the cast of “Hospital Ship,” Ha Ji Won said, “Hospitals are usually sought out by patients. But in ‘Hospital Ship,’ it’s different in that the ship seeks out patients for [both physical and] emotional treatment. I felt a lot of sincerity in that aspect of the drama, which is why I signed on.”

From my personal opinion I don't find nothing unusual/ peculiar/weird that an actress play a character in a movie or series with a more young actor it's just their job and even if they were in real life there are a lot of team where work together young people with old people...and even in love relationship there are a lot of couples with bigger age gap ...one of the most famous is the President of France...Vive la France !!!  So I really don't understanding why there are such a lot of complains/controversy/ haters comm ??!!

Yeah same opinion here. In addition, I don't think there will be a problem with the age gap as long as they play their roles well. I hope and pray that the relatively inexperienced and young cast could give justice to their characters. 

Did the drama prod team release a long teaser or is is still just the three they released so far?

Thank you for the warm welcome @andra30! I will try to post more often.  Miss our queen  but it is good to know that she had a well-deserved vacation based on her Marie Claire interview. I still don't know how to navigate the forum and insert attachments and other files. In any case, will learn to share articles and other stuff here. 

And really, what's the buzz about the age gap when HJW had worked with younger guys in the past and still share great if not explosive chemistry. What I admire more is her generosity to share her talent with new generation of actors and have no qualms of sharing the spotlight with her juniors. She is so down to earth and humble. I think that is why she works well with others and earn their respect and admiration. Amazing yeoja indeed!
