If you don't eat rice, what's your staple food?: ALWAYS must have meat :D parents kinda drilled it into me... I only go like... once every 6 months without meat... and that's when I eat salad XD

Well, I guess it has to do with my parents being immigrants and I'm first-generation. I know 2nd generation Asians who are very Americanized and only eat rice occasionally.

I agree with you. I'm first-generation American-born, so I eat rice literally every day. But the second and third generations I know rarely eat rice, or at least eat it much less often.

If you don't eat rice, what's your staple food?: all types of breads and pasta...noodles...basically anything that has carbs

Hmmm. Not every asian eat rice. Some of us prefer these over rice:

Eat rice as your staple food?: Nope, since my mum was born and grew up in England, we eat rice once in a while.

If you don't eat rice, what's your staple food?: Regular English food, Sometimes Indian breads/rotis, miso soups and my mum has an obsession with Italian food, so that too.

Eat rice as your staple food?: Yes for my parents, but I have a very small appetite and love sampling a large variety of food, and since rice fills me up quickly, I usually just skip it. Oh, and my mom recently had this big health kick and started only cooking brown rice, which I can't stand, so I haven't really eaten it in a while.

If you don't eat rice, what's your staple food?: Napa cabbage, haha I love that stuff. But as in carbs, definitely noodles :3
