G-Dragon Collaborates with IBK (Industrial Bank of Korea)

 

This is basically a collaboration/ promotion for IBK (Korean Bank) probably for a specially-designed “GD Card” for new accounts. The first 100 people who make an advanced reservation on February 26 (for Koreans only) will be given a limited edition collaboration package that includes the following:

 

– G-Dragon’s 3rd Album “Kwon Ji Yong”

– Items with artwork designed by G- Dragon

– Collaboration Package Box

According to the press release, the theme is “All Access”, which is a term usually used when someone is allowed to go anywhere freely inside the

concert venue. It seems that fans who get the card will get a similar special experience (probably through special promotions at stores, restaurants, etc.) as G-Dragon “wants to be with fans everywhere.”

In November 2017, the VIP JAPAN FC announced a "new video project" called D'shouse and accepted applications from FC members. Applicants had to write formal written applications and do interviews with YG JAPAN in order to be selected.

 

According to that first announcement, 10 people were selected. Only successful applicants have received any further information since then. Others knew no date or place or any single detail about the video shooting. Only thing known: Daesung invites them to D'shouse as the owner.

 

Today (February 12), the staff blog post says: the filming took place in a pension in Jejudo. The whole project was Daesung's own idea, he wanted to try a new and different way of meeting his fans ("make wonderful memories" as the staff blog says).

 

The lucky selected VIPs spent 2 days and 1 night in the pension as his guests. With the support of 2 managers, Daesung prepared everything, went shopping for food, etc. He cooked for his guests, some dishes include his mom's home made kimchi.

 

The video will be brought to us "starting some time in spring". (just my guess: it's possible that it will be shown in short episodes on bigbang-world, but hopefully later released on DVD..?!)

 

The staff blog post ends saying that after Daesung's final live event in Hawaii some of us must be feeling lonely, but not to worry because he had a lot prepared for us to keep us happy while he's gone. 

His promise to leave our happiness to him is valid during hiatus as well.
