YR is about to take two glasses of champagne over for the toasting and she realizes that it’s CY. She tries to get her co-worker to do it instead but gets no co-operation from her. YR brings the drinks to CY and he along with Anna finally see her. KS is worried and watching from a distance Her co-worker is not paying attention to where she is going and pushes the drink cart into the table holding the ice sculpture. It’s about to fall over onto YR and CY grabs her away from the ice sculpture, into his arms, looking very guilty over to Anna as he does so.

Shucks! Even I feel guilty!! It was very clear that CY wasn't saving a person he was saving his woman!!!!!!! Noooooooo YR get out of his arms! Run! Run! Run!

Here is the recap for episode 24 where the pace continues to go at a brisk speed. Tomorrow's recap will likely be late as well due to work.

Episode 24 summary:

In the morning, we find the two lovebirds, I mean YR and KS, asleep together on the bed, with his arm resting across her stomach and his head nestled on her arm. This lovely scene is interrupted by the arrival of DP and SH (who immediately has to run to the bathroom) who had spent the night at the sauna.

Since it is only epi 24.. will make do with sweet scenes like this for time being....

Episode 25 summary:

CY grabs YR out of harms way from the falling ice sculpture, while the flash lights are going off and everyone is staring at them, including Anna, KS and CY’s mom. CY releases YR and she immediately apologizes to the crowd and start to clean up. But, KS comes up to her and grabs her arm to move her away from there. CY lightens the mood by making a joke, but KS is not happy with the situation.

YR asks what KS is doing there, but he needs a moment to calm down before he asks if she’s hurt anywhere. She’s alright but he realizes that she’s been doing part time work all this time and is very angry and disappointed with her. She asks him to not be too upset as she too felt terrible about doing it behind his back. He’s even more upset that it had to be at that particular hotel and with CY present. He tells her that things like this happen because she doesn’t listen to him and tells her to go home immediately. She tells him that she’s thinking of what she needs to do next. If she leaves now, she’ll appear as if she’s running away and she will have to continue to do that in the future. He’s upset that she’s worried about their opinion and she tells him that the only thing she’s concerned about is coming to work and earning a living for herself. He beats his chest, frustrated that he has to see her put in this type of situation in front of them. It’s also driving her crazy that she’s has to go through this type of treatment but she’s determine not to avoid or run away from situations. She’s going to treat them as people that have nothing to do with her. KS is called away due to work, protesting right to the end.

CY, Anna and CY’s mom are talking to Anna’s dad who is praising both Anna and CY. He wonders, however, why KS’s G is not in attendance, commenting that he should be here to give his support to such an able person like CY. Anna is quick to respond that it’s because KS’s G has total trust in CY that he doesn’t feel the need to be there in person. Anna mentions a rumour that she heard about KS’s G’s daughter who died in the US a while back. Her dad recalls that she died in childbirth and thought that the child died as well. They conclude that KS’s G has no heir given that is the case. All of this is overheard by KS who is working nearby. CY and Anna both notice KS walking by their table.

YR is washing her hands in the washroom and Anna walks in. Anna casually asks where YR has been all this time, whether she was in Jejudo. YR answers no and hands her a paper towel for her hands, and Anna tells her that she’s glad to see her again. Unfortunately, YR leaves behind something and Anna finds the breast milk pump that YR has been using to gather the milk for Woo Joo. Anna rushes after YR and asks her if it belongs to her. Thinking quickly, YR answers that it doesn’t belong to her. Her friend SuMi, who now works with Anna, comes upon them and greets YR. SuMi asks about the bag that Anna is holding and Anna describes it and asks her to find the owner, as it appears to have been left in the ladies room not too long ago. It’s obvious, however, that Anna suspects that it may belong to YR. Later, however, YR tells SuMi that she’ll look for the owner and gets the pump back again (whew ).

Back at the party, CY’s mom berates YR for the commotion that she caused earlier. YR automatically apologizes but CY’s mom continues to insult her by saying that there are always girls who act innocent but are pros at snaring men. YR tries to explain but CY’s mom tells her that one should always know one’s place. YR tells her that she has gone too far but that only gets CY’s mom further upset. Fortunately, Anna arrives on the scene and gets CY’s mom to calm down as she is starting to attract attention from others. After YR leaves their table, CY’s mom calls a manager over and demands that YR be fired for ruining the party.

It looks like the complaint worked because YR is asked to leave and it appears that her departure may be permanent. This is overheard by KS as he is walking by. He pretends otherwise and calls out to her, letting her know that he’s leaving. YR tells him that she has thought it over and is leaving, as he suggested. He tells her that she made the right decision.

On the drive home, KS tells YR to not pay any more attention to those people and she agrees, telling him that her only focus is Woo Joo at the moment. Stopped at the lights, they see a mother and son with a flower and note that it’s Children’s Day. She sees the picture of KS’s parents and notes that they are both very good looking. KS agrees, commenting that he naturally takes after them. She feels that she’s a poor mother and a poor daughter, but KS tells her to not blame herself, telling her that the day will come with both Woo Joo and her parents will understand her situation.

YJ suggests to SC that they go to his hotel to eat. He’s undecided as to whether they should eat their traditional menu or the menu that was launched by CY. SC tells them that the two menus are championed by CY and KS’s dad and it’s difficult to decide which to side with. MH notes that it would depend on who is expected to continue the control of the hotel and SC remarks that it’s a shame that there is no heir to take over the hotel. They mention that YR will be there and it will be the biggest present for the parents.

KS drops YR at home and tells her to stay put, otherwise he will punish her. He’s busy looking at YR in the side view mirror that he barely stops in time to not his YR’s dad who is picking up garbage from the road. KS apologizes profusely, while checking to see if YR is still in sight. YR’s dad asks if KS is still in contact with her and he affirms it. YR’s dad tells him to relay to her that if she wants to break ties with her parents, he can do it officially, she just needs to tell him so. As he leaves, KS, who can read his true intentions, comments that he should just say that he misses her.

YR’s mom gives MH the note from DP and comments that a man who would write such a note of thanks must be a nice person. MH is envious that YR’s mom still gets such letters from a younger man but YR’s mom wisely tells her that he must have written it to her because he couldn’t write such a note directly to MH. Now happy as lamb, MH reads the card again, but this time YR’s mom takes note of her name being used in the note. MH never told him YR’s name, so YR’s mom rightly concludes that it must have been YR at their place.

YR’s mom comes to KS’s place and wonders if she’s actually living there. YR corrects her, but her mom is heartbroken that she was hiding and didn’t even contact once when she was living so close by. Her mom notices some baby things and goes into her room and sees the picture taken at the picnic when she was very much pregnant. The truth is out now and YR tells her that she did not miscarry but had the baby. Her mom is devastated that she lied to them and asks where the baby is.

The launch party is winding down and someone notices a wallet on the floor and says YR’s name as he looks at the ID inside. CY offers to return it to her and is putting the wallet in his jacket, when Anna comes by and notices it.

DP and SH have returned and meet YR’s mom. They are about to head over to the hospital to see Woo Joo. DP is worried and asks how YR’s mom came to be there and YR tells him that she somehow found out.

It’s Children’s day and KS has gone to his parent’s resting place to visit them.

Mom, Dad, your son is here.

I’m sorry for not coming by more often. I’ve been rather busy lately.

What was I so busy with? I’m sure you know already.

I know what you want to say to me. I know, but I guess I haven’t matured enough yet.

I’m sure that the day that you wish for will arrive some day.

He is interrupted by his grandfather. KS wonders if his parents would welcome his visit and excuses himself. KS’s G asks him if he’s eaten his dinner but KS declines, telling him that he has another appointment. KS’s G asks him why he won’t take the job offer from him with gratitude and KS tells him that he’s living in his own dream world. He only wants to do the opposite of whatever his grandfather wants him to do. On his way out, the secretary tries to ask him to come home given the grandfather’s health but KS tells him that he should also stop lying and leaves.

KS’s G reflects back to when his daughter and her husband came to beg him to accept them. He had told her that if she leaves for the sake of her husband, he will no longer consider her as his daughter. She cries that she has no need of someone who will treat someone that she loves in such a manner. Both KS and his grandfather are filled with regret over the situation.

YR’s mom cries at seeing her grandson, overcome with emotion. She wonders when he will be discharged and YR tells her that it will be soon as his condition has greatly improved. YR tells her to stop crying because she’s going to do well and not cause her any reason to cry any more.

DP tells KS what happened and comments that it’s likely for the best.

On leaving the hospital, YR suggests that they take a taxi and notices that her wallet is missing. Her mom asks if there was anything important in it (aren’t most things in a wallet important? ) and YR replies that Woo Joo’s picture is in it (oh dear, I can see where this is going ). She remembers dropping it when she was nearly hit by the ice sculpture.

Back at home, CY’s mom is still railing about that accident. Anna is disappointed that KS’s G did not attend the party and CY admits that he may have been too naïve to believe that he would attend. Anna tells him that it’s part of his charm, having the tough exterior but a more gentler side on the inside. CY tells her that she was wonderful that day and Anna tells him likewise, except for one incident. She expresses her displeasure of having YR show up again, and at the event of all places. He tells her that it was a coincidence and to not be too concerned. She wonders if KS brought her and he says that who brought her there is irrelevant because he doesn’t care. In the washroom, CY pulls out YR’s wallet and finds Woo Joo’s picture, with the words “The day that Woo Joo was born”.

Ballykiss, I think you're right about the custody battle. If Anna was not from a wealthy family, I could see a scenario where CY's mom may try to swap her daughter-in-law. But given her wealth and her father's position in the business world, that's unlikely and given CY's mom's obsession with having a grandchild of blood relations, Woo Joo is about be become the focus of a battle between the two sides. As you suggested, it will force KS to use his hidden ace card to trump them and force him to deal with his issues with his grandfather.

Can't wait!

Episode 26 summary:

CY is interrupted from examining the picture of Woo Joo by a call from Anna’s father who is calling from Greece. He tells CY hang in there because Chairman Seo (KS’s G) has no heir and CY will be next in line when KS’s G steps down. And, he tells CY that he will make sure that it happens and all CY has to do is take good care of Anna.

KS is pacing outside his home, looking at every taxi that drives by, expecting YR to alight. When she finally arrives, he asks if she’s ok and guesses that she’s been crying a lot, calling her a wet rag. He grabs her wrist and suggests that she put an ice pack on them, but instead, she suggests some beer.

With a can of beer for him and some drink for her, KS and YR walk to a park bench. YR asks KS if he has seen her wallet but he tells her that he didn’t find it in his car. She tells him that she thinks she lost it at the party and he thinks that if that’s the case, someone would have turned it in and she should call tomorrow. He comments that her eyes are swollen and she turns around, telling him to not stare. He comments that he’s not sure whether it’s the crying or not, but she looks even prettier. She asks if he’s trying to comfort her or make fun of her, and he replies that he’s doing both. He asks if her mother wants her to come home and she tells him that her mother wants her to come home as early as tomorrow. He’s surprised and she tells him that he probably wants her gone as soon as possible. He starts to refute it but she apologizes in advance for extending her stay a little bit longer.

KS asks after Woo Joo and upon hearing that he may get discharged soon, KS call him a dutiful son. She smiles at that and KS can only look upon her lips as she bites the drink bottle, reaching out his hand but only able to hold onto the park bench between the two of them. But, wait. He overcomes his hesitation and he reaches out to cover her hand with his. She looks at the hand and at KS, and then shyly but happily looks away. They both stare off into space, looking very blissfully happy.

YR’s dad is becoming really insufferable. When YR’s mom tells them that she went to visit a friend, he demands to know who it was and tells her that she shouldn’t spend so much time outside the house. MH sympathizes with YR’s mom but as soon as YR’s dad leaves, she immediately asks if YR’s mom met with YR. YR’s mom tells everyone to mind their own business and why she can’t come and go without being asked questions all the time.

YJ is very worried about YR and SC tells her that the longer YR delays her return, the harder it will be to come back. He also tells her to not worry too much and it’s important to enjoy the moment. YJ hesitantly brings up the question of adoption and that she doesn’t think it’s a bad idea. He hugs her as he tells her that he had the same thoughts. But, he tells her that they should talk about it tomorrow and go to sleep for the night (So sweet, I really like this couple)

YR’s dad wakes up in the middle of the night and goes to the kitchen for some water, only to find YR’s mom sitting in the dark. He wonders if the reason that she can’t sleep is because YR is in trouble again.

Not sure who would put such pictures on the internet, but Anna is looking at pictures of YR in CY’s arms after she fell at the launch party. Just to rub salt in her wound, SuMi comes into the office talking about the same pictures, telling Anna that everyone thinks CY was so cool saving YR like that. YR tells her that any other man would have done the same and, instead, asks if SuMi found the owner of the breast milk pump. SuMi tells her that she gave it to YR and when asked why, she tells Anna it was because YR told her that she would return it to the owner. Anna, yet again, tries to get YR’s phone number from SuMi but fortunately she doesn’t have it either.

SC comes into the office, also talking about the story of how CY saved a person and finds out that it’s none other than his sister-in-law. He displays surprise at YR’s presence in Seoul. When both SC and SM are gone, Anna calls the hotel to request for the contact number for YR.

SC calls his wife about the incident and lets her know that YR is in Seoul. YR’s mom is looking at her bank balance and wonders how she has managed to save so little after all this time. YJ comes rushing. YR’s mom asks her is she has any money and to lend it to her without asking why. YJ instead tells her that YR was at SC’s company launch party the previous day and that YR is in Seoul. But, YR’s mom doesn’t look very excited with the news and she finally tells YJ that she met YR yesterday. YR’s mom tells her that she’ll tell her the details later but asks if she has any money that she can lend her. YJ, like her mother, can’t help with the money.

CY, in his office, looks at Woo Joo’s picture again and thinks back to when he visited her at the hospital and asking her about the baby. He recalls KS telling him that the baby had died, blaming CY for the death. He, yet again, calls for KS to come to his office, but KS is away from the building. Anna comes into the office, forcing CY to quickly hide the wallet and the picture. She asks him if he’s seen the pictures. He tells her to pay no attention, as anyone would have done the same in his place. She asks if anything is bothering him as he appears to be burdened with something, but he denies that anything is wrong.

KS’s G appears to be in declining health (perhaps he should stop eating all that chocolate) and he laments that his only blood relative is his enemy.

YR is looking at a basket of flowers and asks KS why the flowers are there since she understood that he went to visit his parents. He tells her that they were left over since he got a buy one, get one free deal. She remembers KS telling her that he had a grandfather but he denies it. But, before she can ask any more questions, he asks her what she’s doing today. She’s planning to go to the hotel for her wallet. He tells her that she can take another picture of Woo Joo but she comments that the picture is special and doesn’t want to lose it. He asks what she’s doing afterwards and when she answers that she has no other plans, he suggests going to visit Woo Joo. He tells her that he’ll call her after work and asks her to wait for him outside. She gets a call from someone who has looked at her resume and portfolio and wants to meet her the next day.

SC tells CY of KS’s G’s visit the previous day and his comments regarding the declining quality of the menu and the interiors, as well as his displeasure of the food that was redirected from the hotel to the launch party.

KS gets a call from his grandfather who wants to see him. KS refuses to see him, telling him that there is nothing further to talk about. His grandfather is upset that KS refuses to acknowledge and understand the only living relative that he has. He is so upset that he collapses.

CY tells Anna to go on ahead as he has to go by his office. CY runs into KS and KS asks him what he wanted to see him about. CY clenches his fist and punches KS in the face. But, it appears to be only the figment of CY’s imagination. He continues to clench his fist and KS leaves as CY appears to have nothing to say.

KS is walking away from CY when he receives a call telling him that his grandfather has collapsed. KS doesn’t believe it and asks whether his grandfather changed his mind about meeting him at the hotel and that he won’t be fooled this time around. He hangs up as the secretary is telling him that it’s the truth this time and that they are at the hospital.

The doctor is concerned about KS’s G’s blood pressure and that he has not regained consciousness, and that if he continues in this state, his life may be in danger.

CY’s whole family, excluding himself, are dining in the hotel restaurant and Na Young is stalking KS again. He declines her suggestion of a movie or drinks and tells her that he wants to do is sleep ( oops, the wrong thing to say in this case). CY overhears NY telling KS that she’s going to spill the fact that YR is living at his house if he doesn’t cooperate. KS, knowing when he’s cornered, tell NY nicely that he has to work and to wait for his call. CY asks NY what she meant by that woman living at KS’s place and she tells him it the woman from the fake engagement. But, she tells him to not take it the wrong way because they’re not living together, she’s only staying there because of some circumstance.

YR’s mom is about to leave to visit YR and YJ wants to go as well but YR’s mom is concerned about getting caught by YR’s dad. YJ gives her some money to take the taxi and tells her to call if she has any problem.

YR and her mom are talking and her mom asks if she is in a relationship with KS. YR vehemently denies it but her mom tells her that she doth protest too much and it looks even more suspicious. YR tells her that she’s Woo Joo’s mom and her mom says whether that somehow implies that she’s going to live alone for the rest of her life. Her mom tells her that KS must like her as well as no man would allow a woman to stay like this if he didn’t like her, especially a woman with a child. YR tells her that it’s because KS is a very caring person and tells her not to go overboard. Her mom gives her some money to help with the hospital cost

Man Hee is at the store when she bumps into Dae Poong. A trip and a near fall has Man Hee in Dae Poong arms, to the sound of Gone With the Wind (this is too hilarious!), only to be interrupted by Soo Ho.

YR is ready to go with KS arrives, with the milk for Woo Joo. KS suggests going to a movie on the way back but YR tells him that she often falls asleep at the movies. She’s game if that’s ok with him. He asks how deeply she sleeps, deep enough not to notice getting carried away, and she tells him that she’s quite heavy. This cozy scene is being watched by CY (who had told his family to go home without him after the dinner out as he had more work to do). KS and YR drive to the hospital to visit Woo Joo, not realizing that they are being followed by CY. CY overhears the conversation regarding Woo Joo’s health and sees YR handing over the breast milk. YR and KS are looking into the nursery and YR tells Woo Joo “Mommy is here with KS.”

Darcy thanks a bunch for latest recap! The plot of this daily is really moving, I would have thought she would still be pregnant. I really want her and KS 2gether, but with so many more episodes who knows what will happen.  The affair and baby will come out in the open. I can't believe that CY is going to let KS raise is son! Impending battle over WJ.  KS will use his background and help her. They may even get married too.

A little late today but here is the recap for episode 27. Secrets are being revealed left, right and center, but not enough scenes of our cute couple!

Episode 27 summary:

KS and YR are at the hospital, paying a visit to WJ but overseen and overheard by CY. After they leave, CY gets a close look at WJ, verifying that the baby belongs to YR.

As YR is paying the hospital bill, CY is leaving unnoticed by YR but KS catches a glance of him. KS tells YR to stay put and runs after CY, but loses sight of him outside. YR comes outside and asked him if he saw someone. KS replies that he must have been mistaken and YR asks if it was a woman. He answers yes and that only makes YR make a rather disappointed face.

CY takes out his frustration at the golf driving range.

YJ tells SC about WJ being in the incubator and tells him to keep it a secret. YJ explains that the miscarriage was a lie because of YR’s fear of what her parents would try to do. SC is concerned that YR is now really an unmarried mother and asks what kind of a relationship YR and KS have with each other. YJ guesses that the two are actually dating and SC can’t get over how KS lied to him all this time.

YR’s mom and YJ talk with YR over the phone, trying to keep it a secret from YR’s dad and MH. MH comes into the kitchen, acting out of sorts again.

SH asks DP to explain a phrase which turns out to mean pretending you don’t know something when in fact you do know it. SH uses the incident when DP help MH in his arms because she fainted even though he knew that she hadn’t really fainted. This gets KS’s attention. SH complains that other kids are noticing a strange smell on him and SH thinks it’s because he’s spending too much time with them. DP tells him that it’s the scent of men, but SH leaves to go sleep in YR’s room.

YJ and SC are talking in bed, with SC advising YJ to talk gently to convince YR to come home. Without knocking or announcing herself, MH walks into their room ( what the heck?), wondering why they’re so surprised. MH suggests going out for a drink, but YJ and SC try to decline, telling her that they are rather tired. (I’m getting rather tired of the aunt character, she adds no value to the drama ).

CY is sitting in his car, thinking when Anna calls him, telling him that Bo Reum is waiting for him with a puzzle. He tells her that he’s tired and asks her to put BR to bed. She answers that perhaps he should have come home to rest earlier if he’s that tired. CY’s moment of reflection in his car outside his house is interrupted by his sister, but he tells her to go in and not tell Anna that she had seen him.

CY’s mom is talking to some friends about some acquaintance who got pregnant again at a late age, making YR roll her eyes. NY comes in and spills the beans about CY sitting outside the house.

CY is drinking in his office when Anna asks if there’s something wrong and if it has to do with YR. CY denies it but he gets very offensive, putting Anna in a defensive position. Anna tells him that even when she’s looking at him or lying beside him, she feels apprehensive. CY apologizes and tells her that he’ll try to be more attentive.

Coming into work, KS notices people around the bulletin board and takes a look. He finds the notice of promotions and he himself has been promoted as an administration manager. Upset, he immediately calls his grandfather but there is no answer. He receives a call from his current manager who tells him to report to the office first and congratulates him on his promotion.

It also appears that CY’s role overseeing the restaurant has been transferred over to Anna. CY surmises that the chairman wasn’t happy with his handling of the launch party. They still can’t get in contact with the chairman and were told that he’s gone down to the country but they’re a little suspicious about his sudden departure. CY wonders what was so urgent.

The secretary assures the KS’s G that his grandson will be here and that KS needs to know the truth. Although KS’s G had told him not to contact KS, he still asks hopefully if KS is coming and the secretary tells him that he’s sure to come. (I hope this doesn’t happen too late )

Anna congratulates KS but upon his lack of enthusiasm, she asks if he had already known of it. At his negative response, CY comments on how KS appears to be well looked after by the chairman, perhaps because he is a friend’s grandson. CY doesn’t appear to believe that KS didn’t know of his promotion in advance and asks the whereabouts of KS’s grandfather. KS pushes back on answering, commenting that the question is too personal. Anna observes that the two are getting too intense and asks KS to act comfortably. But, CY won’t let the issue drop and requests to meet with KS’s grandfather. KS demands to know the reason, after which he will give it some consideration. Conversation is getting even more heated and Anna tells them to stop, as they are behaving as if they are fighting.

Once KS leaves, Anna asks CY why he’s behaving this way and that the two appear to be fighting to preserve their pride. Although CY denies it, she tells him that they need to act more circumspect.

He calls his grandfather again but no answer. Yes, our KS does have a logical mind because he now calls the secretary who tells him that his grandfather is in the hospital and asks KS to come. Not listening, KS complains about the promotion without his permission, saying that his grandfather broke his promise and demands to talk to him. The secretary informs him that his grandfather is unconscious at the moment and asks him to come by after work to talk to him. KS still doesn’t believe him, saying how could he talk to him if he’s unconscious. Secretary hangs up and KS believes that the two are now colluding against him.

YR is hired at the cake decoration shop (I’m not sure exactly what her job entails at the moment).

YR’s dad drops by the house asking to see the bank book, which makes YR’s mom very nervous given that she’s been helping YR with some financial assistance. But, luckily, he’s called away and he asks her to go to the bank and make a transfer $2000 on his behalf, to help someone whose mother had undergone a cancer surgery. YR’s mom is now in a crunch because the money has been used for YR, and she goes to MH to borrow some money. But, MH guesses that it’s for YR and wants to know the reason before she gives her the money but finally relents.

At home, after speaking with YJ, MH feels the atmosphere is uneasy and wonders what is going on.

YJ goes to visit YR at the hospital. Both sides have regrets about what had happened and YJ tells her that they had decided to adopt. They go to visit WJ at the nursery, where YJ tells YR that she can’t tell whether WJ is pretty or not. YR tells her that the more often one sees WJ, the prettier WJ gets and YJ comments that WJ should enter the Miss Korea contest (wait, I thought WJ was a boy? ). YR brings them back to reality by noting that WJ is a boy (ok, that’s what I thought, whew! ). YJ tells WJ that his grandparents would love to see him and YR wonders if her father is still very upset. YJ comforts her saying that his anger has been appeased and although he may not say it, he’s very worried about YR.

At his desk, CY says aloud the names of KS, YR and WJ. He steps out and bumps into Anna. He tells her that he’s off to a meeting and will go home from there. He asks her to put the interview questions she brought on his desk. Once inside his office, someone comes in with the information he had asked regarding the names and contact information of those who worked at the launch party (which would include YR, of course). She sees YR’s name and remembers CY quickly putting something in his desk when she came by previously. She searches the drawer and finds YR’s wallet, and is overcome with emotion.

SC meets with KS and lets him know of his knowledge of YR being in Seoul. He asks KS whether he and YR are dating but KS reminds him that they are at work and the conversation is not appropriate. SC then asks him if he has a grandfather and comments about CY’s questions regarding him. KS wonders why everyone is so interested in his family and wonders how SC answered. SC said that it was a personal information but asks KS if he does have a grandfather. KS replies that he doesn’t. KS reflects back on Anna’s conversation (can’t remember with whom) about the rumour of the death of the chairman’s daughter and her baby. It’s obvious to KS that there is way too much curiosity around this topic.

KS and CY share an elevator (yet again) and CY accuses KS of lying and warns him that repeated lying sometimes leads one to actually believe it themselves (look who is talking!). CY comments that there are people who actually have such a mental illness and KS asks if CY suspects him of having such an illness. CY states that only a doctor can confirm it but if the lie goes to the extent of someone’s death, it’s a cause for concern. KS asks CY what’s his point and CY tells him that he should know better than anyone else and that he is someone who likes to respond likewise, in fact even more so.

Episode 28 had about the slowest plot development so far, but it was nice to have some scenes with our couple together. Here is the summary:

CY tells KS that no matter what lies KS tells, it makes no difference to him. KS runs after him to ask him what he really wants to know. CY almost accuses KS of trying to get close to the chairman who is without an heir. KS takes offence to this and CY asks him to work for him instead if it bothers him. After CY leaves, KS is left to wonder what lie CY was referring to, whether it was about WJ or about the chairman, but a flashback of his sighting of CY at the hospital makes KS very nervous. CY mutters as he’s leaving “KS, wait and find out what will be my response to your deceit.”

Anna is devastated to find YR’s wallet in CY’s desk.

KS finally goes to see his grandfather at the hospital, and only realizes then that his grandfather is really sick. He learns that his grandfather has been suffering from diabetes for the last 5 years and it has been getting progressively worse, sometimes resulting in insulin shock. As KS and the secretary talk about KS’s promotion, KS asks about the relationship between his grandfather and CY. The secretary remarks on CY’s ambition, especially in light of the fact that the chairman has no known blood relative, and stresses the need for the chairman’s heir, KS, to take his place in the company at a time like this. KS doesn’t relent but asks the secretary to take good care of his grandfather. Despite his words, KS is worried and tells his grandfather when he awakens that he will take on the promotion. Even as he holds his grandfather’s outreaching hands, KS tells him that such actions are very awkward, giving him goosebumps. Before he leaves, the secretary reminds KS that as far as CY is aware, the chairman has gone to the countryside.

CY meets with some businessmen, with the talk around his plans for expansion. Meanwhile, Anna is still staring at YR’s wallet. She finally calls YR but ends up disconnecting without speaking to YR.

YR has arrived to an empty home and calls KS. When it goes to voicemail, she looks quite disappointed.

Back at home, YJ is crying to her husband as she thinks about what YR has gone through with WJ (what a nice sister). She asks SC about what they can do to help her. Of course, this is all overheard by MH who comes by their door with beer and she barges in to demand more information about YR. MH is totally offended by the fact that she and her brother are the only ones who were kept in the dark.

Some inevitable surprises as YR arrives from getting some groceries and DP and SH have washed and are leaving the bathroom in their undies.

MH is trying to drink her way out of her disappointment.

YR has brought some meat for grilling to celebrate her new job. KS hasn’t arrived home yet and YR recalls when KS knew that she wanted to eat meat and asked if she wanted to go and have some. She tries to leave quietly to call KS, and notices that he’s sitting in his car. He asks whether she came out to greet him and she’s rather flustered in her answer.

MH is now 3 sheets to the wind and arrives home totally drunk. As she starts to cry, YR’s dad asks what’s going on. The drink is making MH’s lips looser than ever and she spills the beans about the money given to YR in front of the family. YR’s mom is forced to reveal that YR is at KS’s but is only there temporarily. Given that it’s out, YR’s mom tells her husband that YR had the baby, but the baby has been in the incubator all this time. She asks him to forgive YR and it takes the whole family to prevent him from going to YR.

As they are grilling the meat and toasting, KS is worried that YR is not saving her hard earned money. We see YR and KS looking after the other by giving each other the grilled meat. As they are eating, DP starts to ask why KS, a chaebol, doesn’t know how to eat and both KS and SH rush in to cover his mistake. Realizing it himself, DP switches his sentence to KS eating a lot of meat because he was a son to a chaebol’s driver.

Back at home, Anna is still staring at YR’s wallet, her anger simmering and growing all this time. When CY arrives, Anna is quiet and she wants to have a talk with CY. She asks CY to be honest with her. She tells him that her suspicions are tiring her out and she places YR’s wallet on the table. She asks him what he was doing with the wallet, but instead of answering, he asks her how she came by the wallet and how he hates it when she touches his personal effects. She takes offence at his attitude and his claim of the wallet as his personal effect. His lame excuse is that it was found at the launch party and he was holding it to return it. She doesn’t buy the explanation and starts to get very upset. CY tries to table by telling Anna that his plan was to use the wallet to question YR more about KS’s grandfather because that is the quickest route to get to the chairman. Anna rightly points out that if anyone should talk to YR with the wallet, it should be her. But, CY is quick to point out that it would have been presumptuous of him to bring YR’s wallet to her and ask her to do the enquiry given Anna’s feeling about YR. Anna shouts that regardless of the reason, she hates YR being near CY and it’s driving her crazy.

Anna rushes out of the room and we soon hear a crash. CY finds her in the bathroom and smashed containers on the floor.

YR’s mom tries to slowly tell her husband that YR had a son and the pregnancy and birth were difficult on both YR and the baby.

DP tells KS about the importance of family and is supportive of KS taking a greater role in his grandfather’s company. DP correctly describes the complicated situation that KS is in with YR and CY, commenting that it would be a good fodder for a drama. Fed up with DP talking about KS’s rise, KS gets up to leave the room.

YR is talking to her mom and finds out that her dad wasn’t as upset as she thought he would be and he appears to be giving it a lot of thought. Her mom thinks that her dad may come by for a visit the next day, but YR tells her that she won’t be home because she’ll be starting her new job.

YR heard KS leave the house and she steps outside to see him. She knows that there is something bothering him but he promises to tell her another time. YR tells him that her father has found out and KS immediately wonders whether they should hide. She tells him that as WJ’s mother, she will not hide any longer but live strongly and bravely. KS assumes that YR will soon head home now that her father knows the truth, but she says that she will wait until her father asks her to come home. Remember CY’s words about lying, KS asks YR what she will do if CY finds out the truth and that she should think about it just in case it happens. She tells him that CY has nothing to do with her and WJ. She asks KS to never mention it again and as far as she’s concerned, WJ’s father is dead.

YR is working at what appears to be place that provides cake decorating classes when she receives a call from Anna. This time, Anna speaks out and requests to meet that day. When YR is about to decline because she’s too busy, Anna tells her that she has YR’s wallet.

Newbie here, Darcy, THANKS for the recaps, I've been looking everywhere for them since there isn't completed subs, on viki. And someone sent me here. I think  CY is or going to fall in love with YR. But, I hope YR and KS ends up together and, I hope CY doesn't do anything stupid with the baby. This makes you think that CY has cheated before but this time he got caught.

.I'm wondering if he is jealous of the relationship between YR and KS,and if he is hiding his true feelings. It seems more than about the baby.I go back when JA asks him if he could love someone without money and status.In all the dramas that I've seen when the very rich fall for the beautiful,but poor girl he always love her wholeheartly. And will leave the rich girlfriend or wife in a heartbeat for her.

Just to name a few.But, I must admit those are the only types of dramas I like. When you have those cold arrogant very rich guys fall for the poor nice girls, that the rich girlfriends hates and can't understand what it is about that girl he has fallen in love with.Prime example Secret Garden. but in this case I do hope that YR and KS falls in love. I can't stand the way CY treats and pushed YR down. He and  Anna has been married for 8 years and he even seems cold with her.
