This is the first their comback for me. I am truthly amazed by them. I have never thought that I would be a fangirl like this before. In my life, I’ve never love a band like Big Bang. I even can’t describe by word my love for them. Just by listening their song and watching their performance make my routine day better.

It was just like yesterday, I was so excited for GD&TOP album, Seungri, and Big Bang. And today is their goodbye stage. I was so sad during this week. I was excited when their comback is closer, I was so so happy when the song released (I even cried because of happiness), I was sad and angry when they got criticism. I was eager for watching them on live music shows or varity shows. But from tomorrow, I won’t. Huhu  How come time runs so fast. I will miss them so so much.  But once to be VIP, forever is VIP. And I am a PROUD VIP. I will wait them Until Whenever.

Be healthy, eat well and be safe in Japan.

Wish you comback soon, my dearest Big Bang. Love you, love you. love you.

And I am really happy to be here with you all, Soompier. Even I don’t write much, but not one day I’m not with you Soompi. . I really appreciate all of you. Thank to all your posts (news, pics, fanacount, writing about your love to Big Bang), you all make my love for Big Bang even so much more.

IU’s ecstatic after learning that Taeyang chose her as his favorite “Heroes” member

On the latest episode of SBS’s “Heroes”, singer IU was absolutely ecstatic when she found out her ideal man, Big Bang’s Taeyang, had chosen her as his favorite “Heroes” member.

In the popularity survey, for which 100 male idol stars took part in, each participant were required to write down their three favorite “Heroes” member in ranking.

It was revealed that three idol participants, 2PM’s Wooyoung, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, and Big Bang’s Taeyang, had written IU for all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd spots.

IU remained timid, but relaxed when Wooyoung and Eunhyuk’s names were called out. However, the moment Taeyang’s name was revealed, IU immediately jumped up and down like a crazed fangirl.

Noooooo, I don't want the boys to stop promoting. Watching their goodbye stage was so sad. Love Song is already sad enough, plus the fact that it was their goodbye stage just made it more depressing. I think I take the boys for granted sometimes. I'm not really a fan of Love Song or Stupid Liar so I've only skimmed their performances during this promotion period. But, now that they're actually leaving, I can't help but feel sad. It seemed like yesterday that the boys came out with Tonight.

This comeback made me feel a lot of different emotions. They made me happy by coming back. They made me mad by taking their music in yet another direction. They made me laugh on variety shows. They made me sad for leaving to Japan (can't stand it when Kpop artists go to Japan). But, most of all, they made me fall in love with them even more than I already am and they made me feel so proud to be a VIP.

I can't wait for them to come back.

My memories creep back to the Sun's I'll be there.

Then came the 2 assassins who shot the Sun and turned our world upside down(in a good way).

They were the duo that led to Victory.

Prince V.I. then guided the VIPs through his land to Big Bang's land.

Big Bang said, "Whoever wants Somebody to Love Tonight at the Cafe, raise your Hands Up."

Maknae being the naive one said, "But how to court her, What is Right?"

Wise ChoomTop said, "No worries, just sing her a Love Song."

5 minutes later maknae comes back, "Stupid Liar, it didn't work."

Daesung comforted maknae, "Baby, Don't Cry."

The rest of the members said, "Yea, don't worry, We'll Be Back."

We almost made it to the 2000th page! I back-tracked and BB's promos started about the 1740th-ish page or so, (not including YB, GD&TOP, VI, & DS solo pages) making it about 231 pages (up to this page) filled with BB goodness! I'm gonna miss their performances but some of their appearances on shows haven't aired yet so we'll wait for those!

Get to know the current trend in South Korean men through Big Bang!  

Note 1: This is an article from Kan Fun, a newly-launched newspaper published weekly in Japan about Korean entertainment. The person who wrote this article is Moon Eun Sil, a writer for Mnet M!Countdown. This isn’t exactly news but more of a feature article meant to entertain.

For 2011, there are 3 types of men who are currently in the trend in South Korea. Let’s get to know them through the members of BIGBANG, who have been topping music charts since their comeback.  

Type #1 : “Kka-do-nam”

This term comes from “kkachildan dosi namja” which means “rough urban men”. Hyun Bin, who acted as a rich man in the drama, Secret Garden, can be described as such. In the music scene, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon clearly personifies this type.   

“Oppa, look at me just once!” G-Dragon rarely responds to this kind of request and usually doesn’t make eye contact. This is especially true when he’s not in a good condition. But still, no one can get mad at his character because when fans say, “Oppa is the coolest!”, he gets shy, can’t close his mouth and just smiles. Everyone knows he has a pure heart.  

If you want to attract G-Dragon’s “kka-do-nam” style, you have to have a rough attitude 9 times more than him. Maybe after that, you can make him smile even just once.  

Type #2: “Cha-do-nam”

Short for “chagaun dosi namja” or “cold/cool urban men”. Kim Hyun Joong, who starred in Playful Kiss, exemplifies this type the best. BIGBANG’s T.O.P can also be classified under this type because he has shown an image of someone who’s reserved and likes being alone. With his somber look, he clearly epitomizes this type of man.

However, T.O.P can also do gags in front of the camera. “I got atopy so I can change my name now from T.O.P to Atopy” Generally, T.O.P looks cool but he can also be funny especially to people that he can open himself up to. This is the fascination of a “cha-do-nam”.  

If you attract a “cha-do-nam” style like T.O.P, you should always be on the watch for his sudden jokes.  

Type #3 “Tta-do-nam”

This term is short for “ttatteushan dosi namja” or “warm urban men”. Won Bin, who treats a child actress kindly in the movie, Ahjussi, is under this type. Among the members of BIGBANG, it can be said that Seungri falls under this category. He is  the opposite of his two older brothers who were described earlier as “rough” and “cold” men.  

Seungri has a rap version of “Thank you, staff!” which he uses to cheer up people he works with when they’re having a difficult time. He’s the friendly cute boy type who can create a cheerful atmosphere in the studio with his antics. Because of this, he has a lot fans especially older women.  

If you want to attract a guy with a “tta-do-nam” style, you should always be with him and laugh together.Having all these 3 types in their group, BIGBANG is surely part of this trend right now. When they came back in the music scene, they swept various music charts. We look forward to seeing what other trends they will show us in the future.

Big Bang's Love Song

#4 in daily charts (May 1, day 24)

#3 in weekly overall chart (April 24-30)

#3 in weekly streaming chart

#7 in weekly downloads chart

#2 in weekly albums chart (Special Edition is #2 for the 3rd week. PHENOMENAL for an album with just 3 songs)

And best of all...

#1 in ARTIST's CHART for the 9th, I repeat, 9TH CONSECUTIVE WEEK.

This record beats IU's 8-week reign in Melon's Artist's Chart (just this Jan-Feb 2011). The next target is to overcome the 10-week record held by a certain Korean group I don't know. If Big Bang holds on the top spot for another 2 weeks, they will be the longest running artist of the week. PHENOMENAL.

And to add.. I read the recent interview of Big Bang in Bestiz. It makes me sad, because from the looks of it, G-dragon is apolegetic to the fans for making them very positive about a comeback during the second half of the year. He even said hefeels embarassed for often mentioning future album plans, when it truth they don't have any album materials at hand. GD said that there are still lots if things to accomplish, and since they are working with foreign producers, there are things out of their hands.

It makes me sad. Nothing is set in stone. I will Pray hard that they be able to show us a good stage and album before the year ends. But as long as the boys are good and I know they are working hard, I guess I really don't have any right to complain.
