The arrangement done on these songs, the production... i am amazed as always.

Looks like lot of people loved "what is right". I think BB should promote this song coz its so Title song worthy! It would be 100% hit wonder like haru haru and lies if promoted thats what i believe about this song along with "somebody to love" coz its so catchy!!

He said there that someone (probably GD cause he only ever listens to GD anyway) criticized his falsetto, so he practiced for a year and now that person said he's improved.

but who am I kidding? This is a Big Bang mini so ofcourse, not much Seungri. At least I have his VVIP mini album, yeah? VVIP mini still in repeat in my ipod ever since Jan 20.

What Is Right sounds something like what Seungri would have composed, it's my fave track. Who's the other producer GD worked with this song again? The guitar in it is lovely. It reminds me of White Love which is a certified earworm

All I can say is that Big Bang should be proud of themselves.

And I really mean it, even though this is just a mini album, they did very, very well.

'Tonight' - This song. This. I love the bit from 2:50. The guitar in the background and TaeYang. It sounds different and isn't what Big Bang usually does.

+ T.O.P's kiss at the end ;D And GD's 1st rap, brilliant. This whole song is. Love it.

'Hands Up & Somebody To Love' - I wasn't expecting the remakes to be that good, but wow, they surprised me : ) But, then again, it's Big Bang and they have G-Dragon.

I adored T.O.P's rap in both. When I heard him in Hands Up, I was just ;O

These are the three that I keep listening to, but I also loved all the others and 'Cafe' is a lovely song. SeungRi's and G-Dragon's falsetto ; )

T.O.P's 2nd Rap impressed me. Sounds like how he used to in the old days, like 'We Belong Together'.

What I adore about these boys is that they never change, not at heart.

They made their songs more... I don't know what to describe them. More 'detailed' ? Yeah, if you get what I mean.

Having more going on, background vocals, etc.

I think DaeSung and T.O.P are the ones who impressed me the most, but Big Bang as 5 is fabulous, they all did so well, and I'm so damn proud to be a V.I.P.

There taking so long to perfect their album for later this year, I know it's gonna' be perfect.

I've gained alot of respect for them now.

To sum it up, other artists should be scared. Very scared.

Late impressions from me but CAFE is really amazing.

Cafe. Mainstream kpop hasn't seen anything quite like this, of this quality, in my opinion at least. The production values are excellent, T.O.P.'s flow is pretty sick in the song, lyrics tell a nice little story and have some depth to them, other vocalists shine in their parts (nice mixture of falsetto), great funky rhythm, and the whole song excudes a neo-jazzy kinda feel. It's simply ill. They should get mad respect for this song, from haters (I'm talking to you dude, mr. typical undergroundhead with a contradictory partialness to girl groups) and peers (artists) included - I hope they perform it often.

The falsetto, the rap parts (their flow is sick in that song in particular), the relaxed instrumental and occasional horns - it's just a really awesome song that hints at a neo-jazzy kinda genre. I really hope they promote it or at least perform it several times, the world (and their peers, including the ones who hate on mainstream artists) need to know about this song. Cafe & What Is Right are definitely new sounds to me, so that's great. I like Tonight too and I think it'll be a hit (obviously) but if I'm gonna be completely honest I think its just a TAD overproduced. I mean - we know they have talent, let it flow! Nonetheless though it seems like they spent a lot of time on the production of this track in particular which is probably why they chose it as a Title track (there's a lot going on). No real complaints here though, I like the acoustic guitar backing track a lot, especially at the end when it slows down and I think they had to take into consideration the current state of the korean music market to an extent.

But yea, this is what we've all been waiting for isn't it? (:

Overall production values on this album for their new songs was just excellent, and what's all the better is that they took care of a fair portion of it themselves!

But please....more of Cafe!
