Describe to the newer VIPs (like me) how it felt like to be a VIP while Big Bang was promoting, especially in their most successful years in South Korea, 2007 and 2008.

HOW WAS IT?!?!

Thans.I do want to see

more of loyal & faithful VIPZ.

HWAITING!

I remembered that I kept

on replaying their teasers

while waiting for the full

album to be out.

I even converted those previews/teasers into

mp3 just so that I am able to listen to

it whenever I am.

I spread it around

to my friends who knows about them since

they listened to the song 'LIES',when

they are releasing their 'STAND UP' minialbum.

& finally when it is out,I kept

on listening to the album.

I felt so proud and happy to

be able to listen to their music,especially

when they have produced such beautiful music.

Sometimes I even found smiling

to myself upon listening to their album.

Sounds creepy eh?

They are the first boyband that

I am proud of promoting and telling

my friends about - because their music

is worth listening.

During 2007 I did

not really watch them

winning awards at music shows,

only watched their performances.

But i did watched them on MKMF.

I remembered seeing them

cried their hearts off,makes me cry along

with them.

It is the first time they

get nominated for MKMF,& they

got the 'BEST MALE' & even 'SONG OF THE YEAR'.

I suddenly thought about how

they debuted,their documentary days..

Kwon leadah even gained my respect

as being an awesome & strong leader;

by not crying infront of the camera..

As I stayed up to watch MKMF

for the 2nd time; I was just looking

forward to their performances.

I did not expect them to grab any big

awards like 'ARTIST OF THE YEAR'

& 'BEST MALE GROUP', since

that year there are stronger competitors,

like the comeback of DBSK.

When their names are being called

out,I was stunned for awhile.

I did not realised that they actually

grabbed those awards that night.

This time I do not cry but

instead I smiled in happiness.

I have this tingling feelings in my heart ;you

know like when you see how well your loved

ones are doing & all.My

heart was indeed jumping for joy &

I could not help it but spazz about it to

my friend all night long.

I almost could not sleep that night

thinking about their achievements.

TABI's words still lingers in my mind

so much "Rather than trying to become a

flower that may wilt anytime;we will

become a weed that continues

to survive.Invention is flower;

innovation is weed"

Not a normal thank you speech

but something really deep from them.

That is basically one of the reasons

why I always treat them

as artistes instead of idols.

it baffles me why they are under the Domestic category though haha. anyway, congrats boys!!! that brings their Best Newcomer awards to four, am i right? this should stop netizens wank about them in Japan coz there's no way four well-recognised awards bodies would give them the awards if they are unknown or underserving of it.

i first heard of Big Bang when they debuted, but only became a hardcore fan from May 09 onwards. i dunno what took me so long i really regretted not being a VIP when they were promoting in Korea, being all dorky and rising to the top. i felt like a mother who went away and missed a huge chunk of her child's life hahaha. i really envy those VIPs who were with them through out, who saw them rise to be one of the best boybands ever. i will never experience full-scale Big Bang promoting, even with their comeback since YG have the "less is more", "little variety shows" rule now. but well, better late than never right?

from May 09 till now, believe it or not, Big Bang has not left my mind for a single day. i always look forward to the end of the day when i can surf soompi or other forums for their latest news. they even influenced me to go to Korea for my graduation trip early this year. and of course, i went for the Big Show. i know of VIPs who like them for much longer, yet do not have the chance to see them live. i got to say i'm a really lucky VIP in this aspect

ever since discovering them, life has become much better for me. i no longer feel as lonely, and instead look forward to each day when Big Bang brings something new to us. i become a much happier person whenever i listen to their songs, watch their videos etc. they give me strength.

i may be too young a VIP to know if my love for them will ever waver, but i seriously doubt it will. i have never like an idol so much before in my life

although it's kinda strange to hear that Big Bang won several newcomer awards, im still super proud of our boys <3 so there are 4 rookie awards in Japan in total. i guess haters can zip their mouths now

one year away from Korea surely doesnt go to waste. i hope they will grow to be even bigger in Japan.

How did it feel when it was a day before the new album drops out?

How was the experience patiently waiting for their songs to win a mutizen?

And how happy were you when they grabbed all those mutizens?

How nerve-wracking was it to vote and vote and vote in order to make them win awards in awards shows?

How did you feel when they won daesangs?

When they beat out strong competitors and won Male Group awards for two consecutive years?

HOW WAS IT?!?!

When Lies came out and I first heard of them I didn't really care for awards and stuff.

It was my first korean song so I was just getting into kpop because of them.

I loved Lies and it had instant success in Korea so that made me a bit happy for them.

After the Hot Issue album came out, I started worrying about other competitors.

2007 MKMF and SMAs were really heartwarming to see. I started really caring more about them.

To see how hard they worked made me want them to win everything lol.

I saw Ri injure his ankle and them going in the hospital one after another and I became even a bigger fan.

Then the start of 2008 I started researching them and looking for anything and everything.

I couldn't wait for them to come back to Korea from their solo and Japan activities so I can fully support them.

August came after what seemed like forever and the Stand Up album hit.

I remember buying it and feeling so emotional cause I really liked them.

Waiting for Haru Haru to hit was realllllly hard.

At that time, I knew everything that a VIP should know about them and became addicted.

Seeing them winning mutizens for HH and all the 2008 MKMF awards was an amazing thing.

Really hard to explain. The one thing I wanted them to win was Artist of the Year and they did<33

I remember voting like crazy so they could win against other groups. Now I know votes don't really matter.

Remember came out and then I started worrying for them again,

I didn't want them to end up in the hospital again especially Tabi.

The Gayos were really fun cause they were everywhere but their health was more important.

SMAs came again and they won 4 awards after Big Show 2009 and it made me a proud fan once again.

They have good music and work really hard so yeah I'm loyal even though I like other groups, they are my #1.

I'm started to feel how I felt in 2008, it feels like forever since they dropped an album in Korea.

Why is it that whenever i see Jerilyn's post i know there's something

'big' going on with the thread. ^_____^

First,

i dont think some people need to BACK OFF because everyone is

entitled to say their opinion. But i do think we all need to take some

chill pill and just enjoy the boys recent activities. Sometimes being too

keen on how YG promotes, issues on the new song, comeback talk etc

can burst one's bubble of excitement. I, myself dont agree all the time on

how YG promotes his artists but hey it works.

Do we really think this is THE COMEBACK? having known BB for a long

time i dont think they'll settle for a CF to be an opening for their long

awaited comeback. Trust me, they will be back with a BANG and as

a VIP that's something i'm patiently waiting for. Call me arrogant but

whatever is the 'TRENDING' or the lack of, BIGBANG will probably

deviate on that trending and set their own mark on Kpop industry once again.

That's how much i trust their talent.

i dont care if this song doesnt garner much popularity

as the first version. I'm simply happy to see BB on the lime light again,

not that they have left for a long time. We always feel BB's presence

in one way or another.

I started loving BB since 2007.

That was a great year for them specially the MKMF award..idk, there are no

words for that LIES performance. It gives me goosebumps everytime i rewatch

it. For me, it put a great mark on BB's career. 2008 was ohmygod a busy year

for them. Promotions left and right, albums- solo(TY) and group. It was such a hectic

year for the boys, idk for other VIPS but 2008 was a year that made me know BB more.

Individually i mean.

How nerve-wracking was it to vote and vote and vote in order to make them win awards in awards shows?

--lol these were the times when voting every 30 mins was so damn crucial. I got over it!

How did you feel when they won daesangs?

---my heart pops every time they win something. Just like an UMMA..i'm so proud with my boys!
