Guest dybre
hi all i have this problem with my samsung YP-U1 mp3 player when i plug it into my usb port, the device is not detected i tried this with 2 computers and same result this is a surprise to me since it had been working fine a couple of days ago the player itself has no problems, it can still play music, all functions seem normal just that the computer says something like usb is not recognized when connected if anyone has any solutions to this problem i'd appreciate it thanks
awdark
Does it use a normal USB cable or a special samsung one? The reason why I ask is your USB cable might be broken and you might need to replace the cable. Perhaps connect the MP3 player to the computer and try jiggling the wire to see if you get any good results... maybe bend it at the ends or whatever to see (and confirm) the wire is damaged. I hope it isn't the connector on the MP3 player thats broken =[ that would be hard to fix unless you have warranty.
Guest dybre
it doesn't use a cable, it has a built-in usb jack it does seems like the usb connector on the mp3 could be the problem but i don't remember anything happening that could've damaged it
