hello there, new Son Ye Jin fan here. i watched her in The Classic and her acting was great. i needed to see her more before i could say she is really a great actress (for my taste only, hehe, since the awards that she got already says she is).

and after watching her in Personal Taste (just finished watching this week), oh my, i am totally into this actress. Really really GREAT actress! For me, she was the one who carried PT, but of course there was Minho, but she really did her thing. PT was perfect more because of this actress. wow (isnt it obvious i am so into SYJ right now).

she perfectly knows how to act a scene, and i say "REAL" acting. She knows how to make a scene cute and funny without overacting (unlike some who overacts sometimes that it's no longer cute (Lee da hae, goo hye sun, etc - just sometimes ok? i dont want to start an uproar, they also act well). and for scenes where she needs to cry? need i say more. simply heartbreaking.

Regardless of that, I would like to welcome you again here! Definitely, it's so nice to meet another SYJer chingu! 

Oh, I have to second the motion! I love her in The Classic and Personal Taste too! 

With this, I'm certain you'll love her so much more and surely not hard to rave about her superb performances in A Moment to Remember (movie) and Alone in Love (drama which I watched not so long ago in dubbed version).

I just wanna say over and over how she can greatly pull off different roles and make her characters simply unforgettable. 

Ten thumbs up for her acting prowess!  

Also, please do not forget her other projects like Into the White Night. I love the cryptic premise but her acting here, imo, is just okay for me. Oh well, I thought this has got to do with her character in the movie. Well, I don't wanna elaborate more cause I'm afraid I might spoil you. Nevertheless, WN  allowed SYJ to showcase another side of her. AND omo, I'm always in a daze whenever I see her on screen with KO SOO...

Aside from those, there are lotsaaa mooooreee in great variety which you'd certainly be pleased to watch and make you more insane over SYJ but I have to admit I haven't seen them all yet!! Heehee. Anyway, you surely are welcome to take your time.

Lastly, I'm anxiously excited and curious and (quite confused) on what's gonna be her next project. Last time, it was reported she's considering Eerie Romance with Lee Min Ki but no final confirmation from her side yet.

Cris, you think so? Aigooo, guess I gotta get over it for now...

when it comes to tv series i would have to recommend Alone in Love..great acting there! will break your heart for sure..

100% agree with soju chic n cris14. There is somthing different bout her compare to the other actress. She carries herself elegantly . My fav movies of her will be a moment to remember( seen it gazzilliontimes) n i have to point out the movie april snow. A lot of people doesnt like the story line but i find it fascinating. Her acting ability shows here same as in white night. N for comedy i like ......seduction! Forgot the title. She issss sooo funny. Luv the injection scene. Hohohoho

^ I think there where other celebs, who weren't in there, but also seen in that dress. Quite a big number huh which makes me wonder if they essentially intend to help promote the apparel.

Ah April Snow...people who are familiar with Hur Jin Ho's film would say April Snow is his weakest film but i always disagree. There were scenes in that film that showed how great SYJ's acting is. Especially the bathroom scene where she had to hide because BYJ's father-in-law arrived, there was no long dialogue, no tears, just a simple line of "im ok" but i felt emotions of sadness, embarrassment, panic and pain, all in those couple of minutes/sec.. it was a different level of maturity in terms of acting for her. Also, as per pic #5, i remembered it was the first scene they shot and took 8 hours to shoot (well, due to HJH's style of re-takes) she had to cry the whole time and the crew insisted that she used tear drops but she refused, it was reported she almost fainted after the shoot. And when you see it in the movies, it was only for 5 sec or less.... She and the director became really close in that movie.

[Clebus Poll Update: 26th Korea Best Dresser - Swan Award 2010]

  

#1  I had checked awhile ago in the Talent Division and Yejin-ssi was still leading with 711 votes.  However, Gong Hyo-jin still followed her too closely, having 705 votes.

For reference, check out the ff. figures: 

  

#2 I had just rechecked in the Talent Division and Yejin still stays on top, accumulating  750 votes. 

To my surprise, the nominees have been scrambled up.  I don't know how this happened but Gong Hyo-jin, Lee Min-jung, and the other one named Nam were transferred into the Actor/Actress Division. 

In addition, Ko Hyun-jung, Kim Eun-jung, and Han Ye-seul are now candidates and competing with Ye-jin under the Talent Division. 

Because of these, Ye-jin now leads the race by almost 200 votes under the Female Talent category. 

Btw, I've also noticed Lee Min Ho's votes suddenly decreased and I wonder why this happened too. (Oh, the downside of language barrier) 

Therefore, I'm not so sure whether the list will stay as it is now until voting ends or will change, which we can't possibly figure out, unless someone could help us in translating. Calling out, sis JC.

^ Cris, yes, it definitely will.  It's  just that we don't know the exact date.  Aigooooo sis... True, I guess the best we can do is to pray that she'll maintain the lead and emerge as winner.  

 Oh from what I've observed, Clebus merely exchanged Gong Hyo-jin, Lee Min-jung and Ko Hyun-jung, Kim Eun-jung between Talent and Actor/Actress Division. I don't understand their basis for doing so even with the poll already in progress. 

Anyway, the most important thing is that this doesn't affect Yejin's vote count and status. Fighting! 

Btw SYJers, we'll soon land on the 300th page and I just feel very happy to be a part of this wonderful thread and share my own SYJ fangirl madness with you.  But then, on my own share, still have so many things to accomplish and first things first: TO EDIT THE FIRST POST!!  I know, right?  Don't worry, it's underway but give me some more time to organize and to sis Cris, thank you so much for your lovely bunch of artwork contributions which you'll all gonna see ASAP!
