[마이데일리 = 고홍주 기자] '치열한 여기자'로 브라운관에 복귀하는 배우 손예진의 '치열한 변신'이 눈에 띈다.

손예진은 MBC 새 수목 미니시리즈 '스포트라이트'(극본 이기원, 연출 김도훈)에서 성공과 꿈을 향해 나아가는 사회부 기자 서우진 역을 맡아 변신에 변신을 거듭하는 열연으로 작품에 대한 기대를 높이고 있다.

극중 서우진은 치열한 경쟁률을 뚫고 방송국 기자로 입사한 씩씩한 사회부 기자. 아직 덜 다듬어진 다이아몬드 원석인 서우진은 각고의 노력과 고생 끝에, 그리고 사회부 캡 오태석(지진희)의 혹독한 훈련으로 인해 앵커로서 꿈을 이뤄낼 예정이다.

특히 극중 캐릭터의 설정이 하나의 특종을 위해서라면 변장, 몰카 등 잠입취재와 경찰과의 기싸움도 마다하지 않는 열혈 기자인 만큼 손예진 역시 다양한 시도를 통해 열혈 배우로 거듭나고 있는 중이어서 눈길을 끈다.

극중 손예진은 며칠간 밤샌 듯한 화장기 없는 얼굴로 급히 경찰서에 달려가는가 하면 경찰에게서 정보를 얻으려고 건들건들 능청스러운 면모를 보여준다. 특종을 위해서는 다방 종업원으로의 위장도 불사하는 그야말로 팔색조 캐릭터라 할 만 하다.

바쁜 여기자의 일상을 최대한 사실적으로 표현하기 위해 감수해야 할 고충도 이만저만이 아니다. 여배우라면 누구라도 외모에 민감할 터인데 며칠간 머리를 감지 않고 촬영에 임한 적도 있다고.

손예진의 이 같은 투혼이 깃든 '스포트라이트'는 국내 최초로 방송사 보도국 사회부 기자들의 직업세계를 리얼하게 보여줄 전문직 드라마로 화제를 모으고 있다.

'하얀거탑'으로 전문직 드라마의 새로운 지평을 연 이기원 작가가 집필하고 '베스트극장' 최다 연출에 빛나는 김도훈 PD가 연출을 맡았으며, '누구세요' 후속으로 5월 14일 첫 방송될 예정이다.

손예진, 사회부 기자 열연..머리도 안감아

영화 배우 손예진이 MBC 새 수목 미니시리즈 '스포트라이트'에서 사회부 기자 '서우진'역을 맡으며 안방극장에 복귀한다.

극중 서우진은 치열한 경쟁을 뚫고 방송국 기자로 입사한 사회부 기자로 손예진은 하나의 특종을 위해서라면 물불을 안가리는 다양한 모습을 보여 줄 예정이다.

첫 방송에서 손예진은 신창원 탈옥 사건을 모티브로 삼은 탈옥수 검거 장면을 리포팅한다.

손예진은 바쁜 여기자 생활을 최대한 사실적으로 표현하기 위해 며칠간 머리를 못 감은 상태에 촬영했다는 후문이다.

'스포트라이트'는 국내 최초로 방송사 보도국 사회부 기자들의 직업 세계를 보여줄 전문직 드라마로 MBC 보도국의 적극적인 협조로 보도국 내의 다양한 모습을 긴박하게 표현할 예정이다.

수목 미니시리즈 '스포트라이트'는 오는 5월 14일(수) 첫 방송을 시작한다.

^^Yep, basically what quteacho said. pwn = own And to me she was ahead of the pack by far on the night; I really think SYJ owned all!!! She really knows how to doll up for Red Carpet events ^_______^

WOW! I love her dress. Her dress was probably on of the best of the night. The purple is just fab. I thnk she always come out as one of the best dressed for award shows although the dresses all seem kinda similar. I can't really see the shoes so i don't really say how much i like them. She looks kinda pale though, maybe its time for a tan....and shape her eyebrows.

다음 왕좌는 누구에게?

5∼6월 방송가에 대대적인 물갈이 바람이 불고 있다. 주말 밤을 책임지던 정준호 최진실의 MBC '내 생애 마지막 스캔들'이 지난 27일 종영한 것을 시작으로 인기 드라마들이 속속 종영을 앞두고 있기 때문이다.

특히 KBS 1TV '미우나 고우나', MBC '이산', SBS '온에어' 등 동시간대 시청률 1위를 고수하고 있는 작품들이 비슷한 시기 연이어 종영을 앞두고 있어 인기 드라마의 동시 교체를 틈탄 시청률 경쟁이 한층 치열하게 전개될 전망이다.

종영한 '내마스'의 후속은 다음달 3일부터 방송되는 '달콤한 인생'이다. 정보석, 오연수, 이동욱, 박시연을 앞세운 '달콤한 인생'은 중년 부부의 위기와 젊은 청춘의 잔혹함을 그린 미스터리 멜로물로 '내마스'의 로맨틱 멜로 분위기를 반전시킬 예정이다. 굳건히 동시간대 시청률 1위 자리를 지키고 있는 SBS '조강지처 클럽'과의 한판 승부가 기대된다.

20주 가까이 주간시청률 1위를 유지하고 있는 KBS 1TV 일일극 '미우나 고우나'의 시대 역시 다음달로 막을 내린다. 알콩달콩 사랑스런 한지혜-김지석 커플과 위기의 커플 조동혁-유인영을 대비시키며 40%를 넘나드는 시청률을 기록중인 '미우나 고우나'는 다음달 2일 종영 예정이다.

뒤이어 '소녀시대'의 윤아가 주연을 맡은 '너는 내 운명'이 전파를 탄다. 박재정, 이지훈, 이필모, 공현주 등 젊은 배우들이 주축. 이에 MBC는 때맞춰 9일 종영하는 '아현동 마님' 후속으로 고두심을 앞세운 '춘자네 경사났네'를 준비했다. 속깊은 푼수 아줌마로 분한 고두심을 중심으로 서지혜, 김기범, 왕빛나, 주상욱 등이 포진했다.

수목드라마 정상을 고수하고 있는 SBS '온에어'가 종영한 뒤 어느 작품이 1위에 오를 것인지도 흥미를 자아내는 대목이다. '온에어'는 탄탄한 구성과 이범수 김하늘 송윤아 박용하 등의 출연진, 톱스타 카메오로 화제를 몰고 다닌 바 있다.

이에 SBS는 이준기 주연의 퓨전 사극 '일지매'로 분위기를 반전시킬 태세고 MBC는 역시 방송가의 이야기를 다룬 지진희 손예진 주연의 '스포트라이트'로 분위기를 이어간다는 계획을 세웠다.

여기에 오는 6월 MBC '이산'이 종영하면 월화극 판도마저 크게 요동칠 전망이다. 그 후속은 '내이름은 김삼순'의 김선아가 주연을 맡은 코믹멜로물 '밤이면 밤마다'. 바람둥이 고미술학자와 열혈애국 노처녀의 '국보찾기 대소동'을 그린 작품으로 일찌감치 화제를 모았다. 그 사이 잔잔한 인기를 모으고 있는 KBS 2TV '강적들'과 SBS '사랑해'가 분위기를 반전시킬 수 있을지 귀추가 주목된다.

Actor Jung Joon-ho and actress Choi Jin-shil's MBC weekend drama "Last Scandal Of My Life" ended on the 27th. Its replacement is "Bittersweet Life" starring Jung Bo-suk, Oh Yun-soo, Lee Dong-wook, Park Si-yeon. On the same timeslot is SBS "First Wives Club".

KBS 1TV daily drama "I Hate You But It's Fine", been number 1 for almost 20 weeks, will also finish next month. Its followup is "You Are My Destiny" with Yoon-ah, Park Jae-jung, Lee Ji-hoon, Lee Pil-mo, Gong Hyun-joo.

MBC daily drama "Chun Ja's Happy Events" will replace "Ah Hyun Dong's Madam". The story is centered around Seo Ji-hye, Go Doo-sim, Kim Ki-bum, Wang Bit-na, Joo Sang-wook , ..

SBS Wednesday/Thursday "On Air" will be followed by Lee Joon-ki's fusion sageuk "Iljimae". It will compete with MBC drama "Spotlight" starring Ji Jin-hee and Son Ye-jin.

MBC Monday/Tuesday "Yi San" will be replaced by "My Name Is Kim Sam-soon" Kim Sun-ah's "When It's At Night" in June.

Dear hard-core SYJ's fan: I have a question: why does she look so different in Summer Scents and her movies/dramas after Summer Scents?

She can't be aging that fast - It's only a couple years. Or has she had any cosmetic surgery? I love her look in Summer Scents, but can't find that in other movies/dramas that she's in.

Seems like you only like her look in Summer Scent. You think that she's had cosmetic surgeries since SS? If you ask me, my answer is no. Everyone has a different preference/belief, you are entitled to yours of course.

Summer Scent is from 5 years ago, SSH & SYJ (just like everyone else) become more matured as time goes by. I definitely don't think that they age fast.

Whenever most beautiful women lists (chosen by experts) are revealed, she's often one of the female stars on there. Let me post some of them later...

That's true.

(I follow TV ratings closely) Actually SBS Wed/Thur drama "On Air" 's rating isn't that high, it was very lucky as well b/c it started the week after "New Heart" (MBC) ended. New Heart was garnering ratings in the high 20's, On Air would be in trouble if it competed with the latter part of New Heart. Not having much competitions, On Air's rating is in the low 20's now; considering all the cameo the show has, I don't think the number's impressive at all. It's half of what the top daily drama "I Hate You But It's Fine" is getting, now that's a big hit. MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Yi San" 's number is much higher than "On Air", the hype surrounding "On Air" doesn't seem to push its number any higher thusfar. A huge hit is definitely an overstatement for On Air.

Anyhow, I hope the storyline/script of "Spotlight" will be good...We will soon find out.
