Though, what is a chaebol in the first place?

 

The term "chaebol" is a portmanteau of "chae," which means wealth, and "bol," which means clan or faction. In essence, these are large conglomerates, usually in the fields of electronics, finance, and retail, that are s

olely owned and operated by one family. Modern-day examples would be the groups behind Samsung, Hyundai and LG.

 

Chaebols play a huge role in making South Korea a global powerhouse, given their large market shares and contributions to economic growth. Leadership of a chaebol group is typically treated like a family heirloom, which is why people born into these clans are perceived to have silver spoons in their mouths.

The streaming service reached the point where there are now hundreds of available titles to watch if K-drama is what you're looking for. Recently, Netflix has started producing its own original projects coming from Korea and putting their own flair on the country’s formula for their shows. Korean shows are known for creating a cult following among its fans, and Netflix has decided to get behind this trend. The K-drama cult really saw a surge ever since the dystopian series Squid Game hit Netflix and took the world by storm.

Uhm Ji Won revealed that she takes the lead in paying the bill when meeting up with Son Ye Jin, Gong Hyo Jin, and Oh Yoon Ah.
 

During the episode on August 15th, TEO TEO,Uhm Ji Won mentioned that her gathering with Son Ye Jin, Gong Hyo Jin, and Oh Yoon Ah is called the “Goddess Gathering”, and explained, “Fans came up with the name. Ye Jin and I are from the same hometown, and I naturally became close with Hyo Jin and Yoon Ah because we worked on projects together. Many photos of us together have been exposed.”

 

When Jang Do Yeon, the MC, asked if they split the bill when they go out together, Uhm Ji Won replied, “It seems like whoever is quicker with their hands pays on that day.” 

 

According to Uhm Ji Won, she even gave her card to the cashier in advance during one of this “Goddess Gathering”, and never mind what menu items her friends ended up ordering.
