Just thought it'd be a bit of fun to repost some of the BTS pics of the skiing trip

I’m drinking hot tea. Because it’s too cold, I’ll rest for awhile. *^^* Ahh.. THe crew is shooting a couple in their colourful skiing shirts. (?) Before that, I though it’s a skiing CF, Once I went nearer, I realised that it’s WGM’s Seohyun And Yonghwa. I’m so lucky. Keke. I don’t know whether it’s the idol’s pretty face or the small handsome face.. Because My friends all went to have a look at them. It’s so interesting. When I was watching at the side, I keep hearing their happy laughters. Keke, When Yonghwa is taking care of Seohyun, it
left a deep impression on me… My boyfriend should learn from him. *^^*

I remember that I saw both of them.. They looked very excited…Yonghwa teaching the skills to Seohyun one by one left a deep impression on me. He’s good at skating too. Although Seohyun is still a starter, she still
manage to learn the skills pretty well. When she can’t do a part well, Yonghwa will teach her seriously.

Wow, It’s the first time I’m posting at DC. Today, the skating field suddenly became a Shooting Location.
I saw Yonghwa when he’s sitting. He’s so handsome. Keke. Polite Boy And Trusted Girl Refers to them.. Seohyun is really pretty. They don’t let us take photos. However, I understand the ceww’s feelings and reasons. But I was curious so I took a few, hope I didn’t affect the shoting. T.T

I think for someone who flipped out and jumped on the coffee table, the floor and the sofa when he found out their next date was snowboarding, you couldn't have asked for a better teacher for Hyun than Yonghwa. You could clearly see that he was itching to ride down those slopes. But from what I could see, a girl couldn't have asked for a better or more patient "instructor." Yong may have joked about leaving her on the slopes halfway (and I *sincerely* believe he was joking), b/c he showed something completely different while they were out there. Hyun looked to pick it up well, she even was laughing and having "fun". But she had problems going backwards. And after she fell, what did Yong do? Did he demean her? Did he yell at her? No. He rushed up to her as fast as he could, helped her with *everything*, then even took off his own snowboard to teach and help her learn how to go backwards. Even in the preview we can still see his snowboard is off.

Being that is very rare to find a boy his age who is so patient in teaching a girl anything, after seeing that, tells me he is a wonderful boy and a keeper.

So another point of view to this discussion-- I have not seen any purposeful distance from YH at all, in the sense that he is "losing interest". Yes, both were very touchy on the train and after meeting his mom in Busan. But also, a lot of pictures from this trip were taken and uploaded for all of us to see. That may be playing a part where it seems they have become "cautious", especially once they are out in public.

But while in their apt., after he woke her up and they were on the floor eating and etc., etc., he couldn't keep his hands off of her. Then they went out in public in Seoul. (what did everyone expect them to do at the hospital?) In this episode they're out in public again, but, their "skinship" is "OK" b/c he is teaching her to snowboard.

But once they are in private again, from the looks of the preview, any cautiousness seems to dissipate and Yong has his arm outstretched towards Hyun on the couch with a (imo) "come hither" look to him. We then see Hyun feeding him with her fingers while he has his wrapped around hers and very close to his mouth. Hyun giggles in delight.

I think what most are seeing as "distant" or "awkwardness" is actually sexual tension... whether it is for real or for onscreen... both wanting to do something but not sure what to do, or what they can do... they are still exploring the situation. I love it!

First..I want to thanks to all translators and the uploaders for this thread. Seriously..you all are angels for this In Go Paem

In this recent episode, we can see the other side of Yong nampyeon. Not the choding one, but more to serious and strict but still caring to seo hyun. Yes this version of Yong Hwa make me feel he become distant to hyun. But back to think in positive way, maybe he just want to be a good techer to hyun.

About the discussion, I find it always interesting to read many POV of you. Some POV maybe feel bitter to us, but sometimes it needs to make us back from our delusionaly world. To always remember that this is a show. All of us may say that they are real. But what the real is, that only yong and hyun who know it. For me, all I can do is just enjoying the show, enjoying every moment they give to me, since both of them give me many positive thing.

Hello goguma shipper

this is the first time I'm posting in this thread but I've been lurking for a long times. I'm Thailand goguma, so sorry for my poor English:sweatingbullets:

this is the best ep. so far (in my opinion:lol: ) yong and hyun was so cute and we can see the natural skinship from them BUT there're one point I feel really pity for hyun when she fell backward (almost the end of this ep.) She must be really hurt and embarrassed since she is the top idol (there're a lot of people skiing) Somehow i think that yong is too eager to snowboarding or teaching hyun,Even she can learn how to board really fast, yong have to be more patient to teach hyun, i mean from fundamental level then intermediate then backward boarding OMG it's really hard. So yong, please more patient and gentle to our Seo JooHyun:(

BTW it's just only my point of view but i love them both and really love this couple so don't get me wrong:wub:

hey fellow goguma villagers!!

I just watched episode 44. DAEBAK! woa, this time round, they looked like they had a lot of fun.. damn jealous man!

One thing I noticed about our thread, ITS ALWAYS CROWDED. But that's good, right? hehe

Hmm, the Sangdodong productions are getting more hilarious, a big HAHA to the rightful owners. It's just so creative and funny, so truly what we all want, and so naughty hehe. See, Yongseo allows us to let out our inner creativeness (not to mention naughtiness). Aah, Good Job guys!

1 more like, I love the title of the subbed episode: Learning Snowboarding From a Choding. Haha! It explains everything.

Now for my POV of this episode... This episode is really a fun one, and the preview for ep 45 is a real teaser. I have always mentioned on this thread how I liked Yonghwa's faith in Seohyun. He ALWAYS always believe in her, and knows that she can do it. Like he believed she could play the song 'What's up" in 1 month with the guitar, he believed that she can find him when they wanted to meet up in Japan, and he he believed that she could at least have the basic skills for snowboarding in 1 day. Can I have a boyfriend like that who have absolute faith in me? hmm.

The preview, I felt like that is their honeymoon night. hehehe. with Seohyun looking nervous and the bed scene... what do couples do on their honeymoon night anyway? and especially when I watched the parody of the preview for ep 45, haha...

Anyways, I liked the way that Yonghwa teach Seohyun. It's a bit of everything, tough teaching, encouraging, scaring her that she will fall, but complimenting her that she only fell twice, choding around subtlely with 'single ladies', and especially, his concerns for her overall. I want to remind Seohyun that she is SOO SOO lucky to be that girl to learn snowboarding from a choding!

Last but not least, I hope I'm not too late, since I didn't do this on the real real day.

HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY YONGSEO! I wish you guys all the best in your entertainment career, or whatever you guys would do thereafter. I will support your decisions post-we got married, be it you guys getting together or not.

To Seohyun, being same age as you and having about the same level as you in the experience with boys made me watch you guys from the start, even when people opposed to your pairing. At the start, maybe to you he is that popular actor who plays Shin Woo that your unnies are swooning for, and you thought ah, let's just get this over and done with. But now, you have matured, and you look at him as Jung Yonghwa oppa, someone whose relationship with can't be compared to your sm oppas or even male chingus, coz the relationship you have is just different. Hey fellow chingu, appreciate what you got and don't let him go ok?

To Yonghwa, of course, from my point of view, you're doing well. I like it that you never force her, but believe in her, and believe that she can do things she have never done before. Keep it up. Keep the believe yongseo. YONGSEO JJANG! YONGSEO FIGHTING!

Can I say how much I love your post. I too have noticed their skinship pretty much correlates where they are. From what we've seen, when they are out in public or in Seoul, the skinship level is down or a bit removed, but when they are on their own and away from Seoul it goes up, as we saw from the beach/shrimp episode as well as in Busan. If you think back on it, they held hands only when they are in less crowded places and when he was in the comfort of his friends and walking behind them.

Personally I'm not much a fan for PDAs.

I watched an episode of "Happy Together with SNSD" but I have no idea when the actual telecast date was. Based on SeoHyun's couple ring, I conclude that it was during WGM period. What I want to raise here is her answer to the MC's question: "Which member changes when she is around men?" She picked herself and answered that she would become quiet and uncomfortable. Now....do we find her quiet and uncomfortable around her hubby Yong?

There seems to be some 'sadness' registered by fellow gogumas with regard to how the young couple's relationship is going. My personal view is that we should not be overly alarmed. I think based on Yong's recent comments about his ideal-mate as well as the 'commitment' in wearing their couple rings off WGM, things may not be as bad as they seem.

If Yong understood clearly what PSY said in the first episode of NAN as an 'advice to all handsome guys', he should know what to do (he appeared awed by it). Let me try to summarise from the Chinese episode that I watched => With the girl that you like, if the relationship succeeds, she is yours. Love and protect her. Conversely, if the relationship is unsuccessful, she will become someone else's girl. Just say goodbye. (Sorry, I am unsure if fellow gogumas have covered this in the earlier posts but I am unable to read all the thousand over pages in one week. I only managed to read your recent posts hence forgive me if it is repetitive.)

With regard to episode 44, I have yet to watch the subbed version so I shall not make any comment yet.

I don't know if I'm blind or something, but I couldn't find any awkwardness between them whatsoever -____- Although I have to admit that there where episodes wherein Yonghwa wasn't his usual playful, choding self, but I always dismiss those as tiredness and stress from work. Besides, I can't always expect them to act in the way that I want them to. They're idols who work round the clock and are constantly in demand. I agree with lovekin that WGM is more lax in the sense that they don't really have to try hard to project a certain image in front of the cameras, so the tendency is for them to be more relaxed and carefree. But bored and uninterested? I don't think so.

I've read some comments wherein people where disappointed at Yonghwa for his attitude while teaching Seohyun. Apparently, he looked annoyed in their eyes. Okayyy. I just don't understand where all the b.itching comes from, because as far as I'm concerned (and I'm pretty sure all of us are watching the same show) he had been nothing but patient and encouraging. Yonghwa may be a choding that we all adore, but he knows how to separate work from play. He wanted Seohyun to learn well, because if she doesn't learn anything, then who's to blame? We all know what a perfectionist the guy is. I think my love for him multiplied in this episode <333 We all got to see a different side of him, not just the choding that everyone makes him out to be.

SH: It was like this. A chicken when it’s coming out of an egg it uses all its strength. If the mother chicken helps the chick come out it would not be as developed (reach its potential). Something like that.

This is the reason why I love Seohyun. We all know that she lacks experience when it comes to relationships, but I get surprised at how much she understands his intentions. They really connect with each other and are always on the same wavelength. Being a perfectionist herself, she knows that she'd do the same thing if she were in Yongwha's shoes. A teacher is just a mere guide, in the end, it's the student who has to work hard in order to learn.

I think that some of us have been spoiled rotten by their skinship. During their awkward days, we've been contented by a simple touch of the arm or even the touching of the knees. But ever since they've progressed into the relationship, everyone's been complaining, 'Why so little skinship?' Seriously, people. We can't always expect them to act in the way that we want them to. We adore Yongseo for a reason, and that is because they go on their own, albeit slow, phase. If we always complain about the lack of skinship, then we're no different from the Yongseo antis who say they're boring.

We can only analyze so much, so we just have to enjoy each and every episode while it lasts. Because there is only a single reason why we watch this show: to be entertained. Our hearts may break when the end finally comes, but it's a bittersweet feeling knowing how much we loved and supported them as a couple and as individuals.

BluMistLaydee: I absolutely loved your post. I agree with every single thing you've stated there. I think there are times when people forgot that the PD's editing is a lot to blame. This is a show, afterall, and it's up to the PD to decide what he/she wants the viewers to see.

I was not going to post but I need to say to cailei23 that I´m really sorry , I was going to give you a green point but I don´t know how I clicked the red one T_T... Really sorry, please can some one give her points back?? Thank you.

Sexual tension, I like that word, and I think there are a lot of sexual tension between them lately ^^. For me, I don´t need to see Yong mushy and giddy all the time, so I will not complain about the latter episode. Besides, I think that the editing is really awful ¬¬. For example, after Hyun´s joke imitating a sheep, they didn´t show Yong´s reaction to it and instead they were jumping to another scene, that is why we are asuming that he didn´t laugh about it.... He could have laughed, He could not... we will never know...

I don´t want to put deep thoughts into our couple, because we haven´t seen the whole day trip yet. I do agree with you that Yong is really hard to read lately (he used to be a very transparent guy) but the moment when Hyun fell down really hard, you can see the worried on his face, he was truly really worried (not even a joke, which would not have been odd coming from him).

He tried to help with fixing her hair but stoped in the half of his way twice and just stayed by her side, waiting. He only relaxed when he saw Hyun´s smily face again and from that moment on he went back to his normal, sweet self ^^.

I think he really wanted to teach her, sometimes I got the feeling that Yong does all this things for her on purpose,like if his goal was leave a deep mark on her life.

Talking about Yong, one of the things I think I have learned about Yong is to how recognise the embarrassed tone in his voice... LOL! and after the "chair" incident I really can tell that his tone was there ^^.

But men are men and sometimes I wish I could have a male brain for just one day to understand them better. Men are so different to us, so that is why i find so useful to read the thougts of the males gogumas , and they surprise me greatly because almost all the time are spazz worthy thoughts LOL!

About the Episode:

Good morning, afternoon, evening to the fellow villagers out there

I do apologize if I have ruined the mood for any of you from my last post. However, I do want to clarify something before I become misunderstood by many here.

I was an avid Adam couple fan before, they brought me laughter and optimism as I go about my day. I thought of them as my haven, an entertainment; so as soon as I watched the 1st episode of YongSeo, I began to wonder if the show was aimed for entertainment, or a secret match-making program for idols. Unlike the Adam couple or KhunToria, YongSeo met in a more realistic approach or circumstance. Yong neither had to meet several women to meet his "future" wife, nor was he ordered to act adorable to surprise her (I still think Jo Kwon wearing the squirrel costume was a set up of the company). He met Hyun as he would in a blind date, as him--and likewise for her. Alas, that still did not intrigue me, because it was natural and realistic. Like any other person, I wanted entertainment. Something spontaneous and funny.

With that in regard, I still fell in love with these two. Their interactions, sincerity and humility is what drew me to them. I cannot think of them as celebrities unless they bring the subject up because when they are together, they act as if they are normal people. When they are together, they are in their own world (as seen in the Ueno Juri segment), they are just regular bystanders, and I often feel like a voyeur, spying on my neighbor's affairs. With that, I feel like I'm already a part of their relationship. When either of them is tired, frustrated, elated, concerned, I feel it with them. Like a sponge ^^

Now about what I said about him being "tired" or "bored" with SeoHyun, it was because I saw him more of an average citizen. I keep forgetting that he and Hyun are both celebrities. Maybe he was advised to keep a bit of a distance from her or getting too much pressure from his BOICE, one will never know. But it was because they are so natural with each other that the thoughts of them being popular escapes my mind. I know I'm crazy because they ARE on TV, it's like duuuuuhr. *facepalm*

I don't necessarily think he is bored with her per say, but I stated that because he is a man, and men are more puzzling than women.

Now that you think about it, he was pretty cool and heroic when he hurriedly climbed the slope to go to Hyun. When he was struggling, I felt the concern and love(?) again. He not only reassured her (and himself as well) but he also fixed her hair so she won't look bad on TV.

Hello guys! this will be my first post here but I've been reading and lurking in this thread when it was still 400+ pages. I really enjoyed reading your posts and I'm very grateful that I found this thread.

Regarding the latest episode I guess my favorite scene of it was when Hyun fell down hard and as you can see Yong immediately went to her side. But what I really liked most was the way he approached her. He first jumped towards her but realizing that it is quite hard he started to crawl (since he is against the slope).. it was like "wait for me I'll go to you even if I have to crawl and bruise my knees..".. the resolve he has to immediately be beside her in order to make sure she is fine.. that is a an act of very good man.. Even if he is strict when he saw her wife hurt you could see how worried he was.. that is what I really like about him, behind the mask there is that man that has all his heart just for her..

A belated HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to our Goguma couple ^^

Reading the recent pages, there seems to be a certain feeling of distress and anxiety spreading around...

With Yonghwa maybe not being his usual self... especially in the latest episode

But we have to remember that this ski trip happened BEFORE the banmal song episode...

BEFORE Yonghwa told everyone how his ideal woman should be like

and most importantly, BEFORE the wedding photo shoot (which should be FULL of spaz worthy scenes)

I've been lurking and found some cute memories.... I hope this will put everyone back into the mood of celebration instead of being frustrated by their lack of skinship in the recent episodes. ^^

Dear Gogumas,

I think that before we rush into analyzing Yonghwa's feelings (well more like attempt to do so since he's the only one who knows) and doubt them because of what we see on screen, let's not forget that IN REAL life, this was the same guy who:

...looked so worried when he lost his couple ring during his performance

...bought Seohyun a two-row field to plant sweet potatoes

...introduced her to his mother and childhood friends

...wrote her a song, voicing his feelings to the world

Aren't they concrete proofs of his affection (at least!) for her?

When it comes to our couple, I can't help but analyze every single thing, just because I badly want them to be together. However the more I think, the more doubts and questions keep coming up. That's why I always try to keep in mind what they have both done for each other and consistently but subtlely shown us fans And my faith goes up again!

Thank you for all the translations, fanfics, fanvids, posters and lurkers who make this thread a Go-chun ^^
