how do i get rid of the annoying IM bar at the bottom?

how do i get rid of the annoying IM bar at the bottom?

Every time I click "hide" it would go away but once i go to another page on soompi it shows up again.

It used to work before if i click "hide" (yesterday it still worked) but now the "hide" doesn't work for me anymore. :/

can i have the option of disabling that thing?
