I saw the nominees for the KBS drama awards and I feel bad that he did not get any nomination for The Big Hit. Even in the couple awards. Although there is also another drama that I felt went unrecognized for the netizen award. Oh well.

No big deal so long as there are ppl who enjoyed the drama..  to me, it was the best drama of 2017, and thats all that matters! Haha. And not for the couple... lol. But more for its deeper and underlying meanings and depictions of life.

One of the best for this year for me. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every episode and I love that they showed the struggles idols have to go through and the challenges that the young ones are facing. Oh well. Hahahah! I guess I just want to see YSY attend at least one awards ceremony this season seeing that the entertainment awards were cancelled.

Seems like he will be busy filming through the period... duno.. haha. Anyway, i just rmbred the news about an art event upcoming in May 2018, that YSY donates/supports by giving a picture and handwritten letter or simething. That event was to provide support to young ppl who are suicidal or have suicidal thoughts. Reminds me of Shinee JongHyun’s tragic suicide. I think they should promote that event now bcos it resonates so much with the current situation...

A new kpop boy group, MASC on a variety show, were asked to call one of their close friends. And one of them named Doeun, called YSY. They met in army training, according to YSY. 

Link above to a clip of the phone conversation. In the end, the MC asked YSY to make a poetry out of the words ‘MASC’, and the MC ended the call suddenly at the end. But YSY’s message reply was laughing at the sudden end to the phone conversation. Haha.

It's been quite a while since I last posted, but I'm always lurking and would like to thank you all for your posts and updates!

I've missed YSY so much for the past weeks without any news about him & no 1N2D, but I'm so grateful he showed himself just recently. Gracing us again with his beauty and kindness! I just can't help falling in love with him

The article mentioned YSY is the main lead 주인공 . To everyone who kept saying he is not...  i hope the debate and confusion can be put to rest. I have always believed he was the lead, duno how the rumors of him being second ever started, but of course doesnt mean i belittle JSW’s character at all... in fact, i am more anticipating YSY-JSW scenes than YSY-JSY scenes. Lol. The article also mentioned he will have a ‘cruel destiny’ 잔인한 운명 . Hope he doesnt die... hope its JSY’s character who dies. Hahahhaa. I seriously dont mind if his character doesnt get the girl in the end.. so long as he doesnt die, like the ending of Mirror of the Witch.

Personally, im getting more ‘bromance vibe’ in this drama compared to ‘romance vibe’. Haha. There are so many ‘men’ around YSY character. JSW as his brother and biggest enemy, Jae Ho his eunuch, and today a new casting announcement of Choi Sung Jae as his ‘protector’/escort. Sageuk usually doesnt have much romantic scenes/skinship anyway, so if JSY is too bad., i’ll just look at the guys. And all the guys are seriously good looking! Haha.

KBS To Partially Halt General Strike + New Episode Of “2 Days & 1 Night” To Air This Weekend 

December 28, 2017 

 

Some of the members of the KBS labor union who are currently on strike will be returning to work in 2018. To go along with this decision, a new episode of “2 Days  & 1 Night” is set to air on December 31.

The labor union released an official statement on December 29 that read, “We have made the decision for producing directors (PDs) working in the variety and drama departments to temporarily halt their participation in the strike from January 1. They will be returning to their respective programs and making preparations to return to a regular filming schedule to make the transition smoother once the strike is officially over.”

They continued to add, “This decision was made to protect the rights and interests of our viewers, as well as to begin building a new future for KBS. Because of our fight, the power of board members who have prolonged president Ko Dae Young’s influence in KBS has greatly diminished and Ko Dae Young’s termination from his position is nearing. Therefore, we believe we are now at a point where we must begin slowly preparing to return to a regular filming schedule for our programs.”

According to the labor union, the first program to return will be “2 Days & 1 Night,” which will return with a 10th anniversary episode on December 31. The KBS staff is also working hard to ensure a successful broadcast of the upcoming Pyeonchang Winter Olympics.

However, the labor union stated that though they will be putting a partial halt on their strike, this does not mean that they are decreasing the pressure they’re putting on the KBS president. They stated, “If president Ko Dae Young is not terminated from his position by the fourth week of January, the variety and drama staff will stop their work and return to the strike. Our general strike will not end until Ko Dae Young is removed from his position.”
