I hope the writers opt for something daring and morally complex, such as showing both AR and AJS locked in an impossible love and fate (woven by past and present evil actions) taking both of them down, with love traveling through the same channels as hate. What I don't wish to see is the cliched (and untrue) gimmick of good nurses helping ex-husbands recover, ex husbands falling in love with saintly girls and all that -the easy solution as if morality is the realm of easy solutions. The situations AR and AJS (aka SHW) have found themselves in have been far too extreme for any of them to be able to look forward to some sort of normal life, let alone do the work such a life requires. I don't think the makers should indulge the various cliches about good and evil and really try and fathom, instead, the dimensions of traumatic events, daemonic betrayals, the dilemmas humans face, and most of all the strange dark paths of desire and love. I personally don't want to see just another story where evil is represented primarily by a woman, whose punishment spells catharsis for the man (and the story), the man who's a bad man who's really a good man (for revenge is deemed right and good when he seeks it), a man who after the 'evil' woman's punishment will recover his goodness intact and rightfully walk into the sunset in the arm of a nurse. I find this image of a phony -and easy- morality truly unacceptable and infected with misogynism. I hope this melodrama will exorcise this image and focus on the representation of a perverse love (and all the moral ambivalence that would entail) between AR and AJS and their common downfall.

I couldn't have said it better. In fact I know I couldn't . I wish you were writing this drama.

i think deep down he still does have feelings for ah ran cuz the part where she pretended to be kidnapped he left the nurse to go save her. to me the nurse and him are more like siblings. it's like big brother and younger sister. as much as i want ah ran and hyun woo to be together, i wouldn't mind if ah ran ends up alone. if fact, the more i watch the more i'm starting to hate her. she's really evil. she really has no remorse for attempting to kill her husband multiple times. the only time when she shows signs of grief is when she thinks about her family. that's why i can't wait for her to find out who her sister is. the only people i feel sorry for is hyun woo, the nurse, and dr. nam lol ah ran, at this point, cannot redeem herself unless she does something drastic at the end.

Actually, I feel like he's playing along rather than really wanting to save AR at that point. He knew what she was planning (cuz he's been there, done that), so this time around he's not gonna fall for the same trap again. We could see that when AR fell out of the car and their conversation afterwards pretty much proved that he was luring her(trust) over rather than the other way around.

I actually like the nurse+HW couple. They're so adorable together. But of course, the point of the story isn't about how adorable their love is. But I'm excited about what's gonna happen with HW's feelings once he finds out about AR's motive for ruining his family & the fact that he's in love with AR's sister.

HW/AJS isn't happy when he's with Ah Ran so the thought of them being together in the end is a nightmare. He's happy & can smile when he's with Nurse Yoon. He's in love with Nurse Yoon. Even if he can't be with Nurse Yoon in the end it's all right as long as he doesn't come back to that witch.

Ah Ran is insane. I pity for what has happened to her life & family but it's also her own greed that leads to where she is... Does she even think of her sister now? What she wants now is to scam the doctor (who's also insane) money & marry AJS.

lolz Sayroo.. Lee So yeon is so experienced is this type of role. In fact i feel like this type of role is made for her. I seen most of her work and most of her roles are the evil second lead. Not as evil as Ah Ran of course.

I hope her next role would be something different. Though she does excel in the evil roles.

^ yeah i saw them too! actress/MC Oh Young Shil & actor Choi Joon Yong... i wonder what their roles are? hmm i wonder if they'll bring Jang Seo Hee in as well? now that would be interesting!

but did anybody else notice the two brothers from Three Brothers (KBS2 weekend drama)? the actors are Ahn Nae Sang & Oh Dong Gyu.. ANS is the detective who questions Ah Ran in eps.15-16 & ODG was the fake Shin Woo with the mask... (at least i think it was him).. i thought it was weird that they're on another drama that's airing on a competitive broadcast station...
