My list of favorites:

1. Bulgaria

2. Japan

3. Australia

4. India

5. Colombia

6. Croatia

7. Malaysia

Bulgaria, Japan, and Australia are absolutely gorgeous in interviews. I am rooting for Elitsa for her charming face and elegant demeanor.

Emiri is just hot. She has a stunning smile and exotic look. I also love how down to earth and endearing Rachael Finch is. It seems like she lacks a bit of grace compared to the other contestants, but congruently she is also more relatable and likable.

Initially I found Miss Vietnam lovely as well, but after watching her interviews, I no longer have these sentiments. Her smile just irks the hell out of me and something about how she carries herself comes off as fake.

I found some more Miss Germany pictures .. Uff, what a difference between model and candid pictures. Don't know what I should think of her, haha.

Haha it all depends on the organizers. Puerto Rico is a U.S. "commonwealth" (fancy name for colony) and we participate in the olympics and all over events as an independent country. even thought more than 60% of our income is federal money.

now hawaii and usa is just stupid lol. The organizers of Miss world reeeeally need a history lesson.

My Pre-arrival favourites for Miss Universe

mu09.jpg

Australia is my MISS UNIVERSE right now. Hopefully she won't disappoint. I really want a natural Miss Universe this year.

Japan is also good, she is backed by the best trainers, one of her trainer is Natalie Glebova, or Miss Universe 2005's trainer. She will probably be the most fashionable girl this year. Her downfall is her body though. Hopefully she improves on that.

Dominican Republic is probably the ONE to beat. She also represented DR in Miss World 2007 where she was a HUGE favourite. She landed in the top 15, and won the beach beauty award. She was also second to China in the betting agencies.

Slovak Republic and Albania are my favourite Europeans this year. Hopefully their performances won't be flat though, European delegates usually are.

Russia - I know she has the porn scandal, but I find her really beautiful!

Puerto Rico - Yes, she's fake everywhere but this girl has attitude on stage! The show will be boring without her taking the catwalk. And can anyone else see Zuleyka in her? I'm so glad the Miss PR Universe has new organizers next year. The current one keeps on molding her queens to past beauty queens. Magali Febles ruined her nose! It was already good before!

Mexico - Among all the girls, she's probably the one who REALLY wants the crown. She will be fighting hard.

Indonesia - Gorgeous <3

I don't know why I have Venezuela on my list. I actually don't really like her that much. She's very 'manufactured'. Well most of the Latin delegates are but she just takes the cake of being the most manufactured. She and Miss Puerto are in the running for having the most collagen injected in their lips or wherever else they had something done. Also, I can't believe she's MY AGE! she's 18!!! But she'll most likely make it, She's Miss VENEZUELA. since 1990, they only missed the cut twice.

I thought Russia was pretty at first. But I think she looks really plain in that picture you gave and it's not the only time she looks like that either. Whether you think the Latin delegates are fake, they are the ones most likely to win. Please don't go around criticizing them for their fakeness, if you don't know if they had surgery or not, and you don't know whether the ones you think are natural have had ps themselves. Australia's boobs are not natural.

The thing is, I know they had surgery because I am a pageant enthusiast and I follow them even before they compete in their national competitions. Go do some research in their national boards and see for yourself. And I didn't say all of them were fake.

Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Domican Republic are the most notorious ones because their national directors are very open to enhancement. There was a documentary about the Miss Venezuela pageant and Osmel Suosa basically looks at the girls and bluntly tells them what they need done. Magali Febles (DR and PR's national Director) is also a big fan of plastic surgery, she loved to clone her girls to look like Denise Quinones (Miss Universe 2001 from PR), thank God the MUO took away the franchise from her though and we may start seeing natural Puerto Rican representatives starting next year.

And Rachel Finch IS natural, Japan's national director confirmed it herself : )

And I actually don't mind the boobs being done, it's the face that I mind.

For more info just go to www.missosology.info/forum all the facts can be found there, and if ur still skeptical, u should register and ask the pageant experts, they'll give u evidence.. i'm too lazy to look it up myself. I don't say things without basis.

Miss Australia Interview courtesy of www.missosology.org

32993443.jpg

Well-spoken, responsible and grounded, Rachael has kept a level head despite being a 21 year-old surrounded by fame and upcoming fortune. She's not only attractive, but she has that wholesome sexiness to keep us enthralled. She's got that fresh, new allure that's really difficult to ignore. On and off the pageant scene, she’s like a walking fashion show.

If you are the answer, what is the question?

Who would love to become the next Miss Universe?

In the sea of beautiful universal women who will set foot in the Bahamas, what should make you stand out?

Australians are known for their easy-going and sincere attitudes and I will certainly bring that with me to the Bahamas. Also, my plan is to be arriving behind a ski boat, which is quite unique!

If you could trade places with any other famous person for a week, real or fictional, with whom would it be & why?

I would have loved to see what Princess Diana’s life was like. She is such an inspiring woman because of her genuine compassion and generosity toward others despite hardship in her own life. Also I am learning to cook and would trade places with Jamie Oliver any day of the week! I wonder if I could take his skills back to my own life?

What is your worst quality?

I am a hard worker and sometimes I can become too critical of myself. I think it’s important to not only aim high, but to enjoy the incredible journey along the way!

Describe your fashion sense & style.

I dress depending on my mood and enjoy mixing different styles and trends. I love wearing a gorgeous gown at the right event or pairing boots with a summer dress during the day. My must-have wardrobe items would have to be a good pair of heels and nude underwear!

What's inside your bag right now?

Car keys, QV skincare lip balm, my 2 iPhones (business and personal), my diary and lunch receipts!

Any beauty secrets that you would like to share the readers of Missosology?

I believe the secret to glowing skin is what lies beneath! Getting a good nights’ sleep, eating right, staying active, laughing and doing the things that make you feel wholesome are essential in my life! On the outside I use all QV Skincare products because they are dermatologically tested, fragrance free and hydrating.

What is your personal quote or motto that you live by?

"Courage is not the absence of fear or despair, but the strength to conquer them." We all experience bad times in our life but it is having the strength to overcome these times that makes us truly courageous. You can judge a person’s true character by how they deal with the difficult times!

What would your friends say to describe you?

I’m not sure if you’d get a brief response from my friends if you asked them to describe me. They think of me as a mixed bag of lollies; I’m the first on the cricket pitch, putting on dinner parties, always with my family, working too much and I laugh too loud!

Tell us about your preparations for the Miss Universe contest.

My preparation toward the finals at the Bahamas has been exciting! As each day passes more pieces of the Miss Universe puzzle are being put together and it’s amazing to see my evening gown by Sonia Cappelazzo and National Costume by Ruth Tarvydas being created! I have a full schedule of events, appearances and appointments leading up to the Bahamas and it’s still such an overwhelming feeling when I think about winning Miss Universe Australia. I don’t think it will ever sink in - what an opportunity!

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?

If there was a woman with characteristics each from Audrey Hepburn, Erin Brockavich and Angelina Jolie I would like to see her play the role of me! Audrey epitomized the essence of femininity, I admire the independence and dedication shown by Erin Brockavich and love the way Angelina balances humanitarian endeavors with a successful career. Although they would all need to brush up on their Aussie accents!

One of your co-candidates decides to visit your country, where would you take her?

I grew up in tropical north Queensland and absolutely love the Whitsunday Islands. I know all the good places to eat, experience the culture and take in the scenery. I would certainly take her here and let her see just how beautiful Australia is. There is no surfing in north Queensland, but I’m sure I could find a ski-boat for some fun!

If you were a type of food, what type of food would you be?

I’d like to be something that gets eaten as a treat and on special occasions. Dark chocolate? Tiramisu? Home-made apple pie? I think I just love dessert too much!

If you were written about in the newspaper, on the front page, what would the headline say?

THE FLYING FINCH

Lastly, what's your special message to the worldwide visitors of Missosology, most specially to your fans & supporters?

Miss Universe has provided me with the opportunity to follow my dreams and make a positive impact on the world. I am so grateful for this experience and every day I wake up I work hard to achieve my goals.

^^I just think it's hypocritical you to say that Australia deserves to win because she's natural and put down the other women when Australia isn't natural. Even if it's not the face, she got ps, she's fake. Saying that getting her boobs doesn't count does not erase the fact that just like those latin women, she enhanced herself too. I know people who have breast aug. ,and her chest from the side looks just like theirs.
