Actor Oh Ji-ho has been cast as the lead for the upcoming Mon.-Tues. KBS TV drama series 'Single Papa in Love.'

He will play 'Kang Poong-ho,' who has a 7 year old son and works as a pest exterminator during the day and a K-1 fighter at night. The optimistic single dad never loses his sense of humor under bitter trials.

Park Shin Yang and Yoo Dong Geun are casted in MBC 50eps "East of Eden" which will air in april after Lee San ends.

The drama will be about two men whose fates are crossed the very day they were born in the same hospital. The filming will be taking place in Hong Kong, Macao and Japan. The story will span the rivalry between the two men for forty over years from the 1960s to the 21st century.

배우 박신양이 초대형 드라마 MBC ‘에덴의 동쪽’(극본 나연숙/연출 김진만) 출연설을 부인했다.

박신양의 소속사 관계자는 8일 오전 뉴스엔과 통화에서 “‘에덴의 동쪽’ 출연설은 전혀 사실무근이다”라고 말했다. 이 관계자는 “시놉시스를 받은 것은 사실이지만 출연과 관련, 일체 논의된 사항이 없다”고 전했다.

초록뱀 미디어가 제작하는 드라마 ‘에덴의 동쪽’은 제작비만 250억원이 투입되는 초대형 드라마. 그동안 주인공으로 장동건, 현빈 등 톱스타들의 이름이 오갔으며 최근 폭행설로 물의를 빚은 탤런트 유동근이 출연을 확정지은 것으로 알려졌다.

드라마 ‘아일랜드’를 연출했던 김진만 PD가 메가폰을 잡으며 현재 1차 시놉시스를 바탕으로 주요 배역을 캐스팅 단계에 있으며 홍콩, 마카오, 일본 현지 로케이션을 통해 아시아 전체 풍광을 화면에 담아 초대형 블록버스터 작품으로 거듭날 예정이다.
