Is this his first marriage? I cant believe that someone who can direct so many poignant and romantic love stories will still be unattached at that age. Congrats and best wishes to him and his future wife. I'm sure BH will try to arrange his sked to attend his wedding. You know BH...... always a wedding guest, never a groom.

Is BH shooting the drama already? It's said that they will complete the shooting before broadcast. But why will it be shown Sept. 2009 yet, and at 10:00-11:00 pm?!!! Why sooooooo late???!!!

Yeah.. someone we knew (from before) kept chiding PD Yoon for (still) being the bachelor yet he managed to churn out Korea's most romantic export worldwide.

But as long as he's happy, as some people do find their true love later than others. What matters, it's their own true love.. rather than what others want them to be. There are other men (& women) who married a bit later but nothing short of real happiness and bliss, starting family just like any young-er couple.. whereas some young couples.. thought to be so in love in a whirlwind romance, taking things for granted and fall apart in minutes. Of course.. we want our BH to not marry too late but when he finds the one for him to have a fulfilling life together.. whispers *like.. soon!*

Personally, I don't really like the Season's dramas (just personal taste but love the OST).. and I've not seen 'Tomorrow Love' to compare.. just hoping & wishing that BH would attend the wedding.. only want to see him, no one else.

ICWTR might come out in 2009 (if we're lucky).. before or after GI Joe.. we still don't know. Big sigh.

Thanks Ella, appreciate the offer but it's not necessasry. As I've mentioned to kimchibabe-ssi, I need to find my "balance" again.. and to pull myself up from all these mess stress. Maybe.. I've found the answer.. to post BH updates, etc like always but will talk less and lesser..

^^ Nah, I've been in this thread for so long now so I wud know the profile of the regulars here. I've been to other threads as well so I know what I'm talking about. Whatever ramblings (as you term it) you post here are never hopeless and senseless, rubes dear. He must have been at the wake of a fellow actor previously.. who died of (lung) cancer yesterday.. Huangsy posted the update at the News thread.

Park Kwang Jung died of lung cancer at age 46.

News of his cancer surfaced only 3 months ago.

He acted in many drama, including New Heart, Who Are You, Ireland.

Byunghun-ssi at the funeral wake, he's always making time to attend to offer his last respects and condolences.

^ Maybe it's my eyes missing BH, but doesn't it look like his hairstyle.. not just a bit wavy & longer but in a reddish-brown color-tone/shade.. no?

Seems that it's similar to October's event when BH attended CJS' funeral wake before he went to PIFF.. similarly .. as well as many of the other actors (SKH, Kim Yoon Seok, many.. many more) he attended Park Kwang Jung's service before the Director's CUT award ceremony.. it's likely scheduled as such. It's note-worthy how he would always dressed accordingly even if others weren't.

As Huang mentioned.. the Director's CUT Award is the last (movie) award event of the year, we might not see BH till next year.. at PD Yoon's wedding???.. but who knows.. maybe there's something planned to close 2008, some good & cheerful fuinction he's attending.

But at this particular time.. nearing the year-end.. we can all look forward to BH's Christmas & New Year MESSAGE that he sends out every time, without fail. Just seeing his handwritten message (hopefully someone could translate it for us, too).. again.. for all fans, is what I'm wishing for right now.

The 11th Director’s Cut Awards

Yet more awards, as we get deeper into December: this time it’s the 11th Director’s Cut Awards, which were presented on December 16.

Awards were determined based on a vote cast by approximately 200 film directors. Actors Ha Jung-woo and Gong Hyo-jin won nods for their roles in The Chaser and Crush and Blush, respectively. The Chaser and The Good, The Bad, The Weird also continued their winning streaks with more trophies. One new name to crop up in this list: Antique Bakery’s (and Strongest Chil Woo’s) baby-faced Yoo Ah-in.

Being mainly a director’s night, this ceremony has the distinction of being substantially less glamorous than the others we’ve seen and will be seeing. Personally, I can dig when the dress code of the night constitutes sneakers, jazzing up that hoodie with a jacket, and maybe trimming that goatee a bit.

Both Best Actor winners have been successful on the award market this year; Gong Hyo-jin won at the recent Korean Film Awards (which she attended with Ha Jung-woo), while Ha was named a “rising star” by Premiere for his role.

The Best Director award went to Kim Ji-woon for The Good, The Bad, The Weird, and his trio of lead actors were in attendance to congratulate him — Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-heon, and Jung Woo-sung.

Meanwhile, The Chaser’s Na Hong-jin pulled in the award for Best New Director. It’s been a fabulous year for Na, who at the Korean Film Awards won not only Best New Director but also Best Director. He’s probably not done collecting awards yet, either.
