The GBW-SBS clip have been posted at Byunghun of our Hearts for viewing but I'm having trouble to fully access the blog all day. Something in the Explorer is just not connecting at all. Can't view the images nor the video.

aWww, hunnybrian.. so happy to hear that, isn't BH just so incredibly BAD in the movie. He's really, really emerging as another person so unlike we've seen him before. Looking at the pics, BH riding & chasing on the horse.. the gunfights.. his really 'evil' persona.. he's really putting everything he's got into the role. Fans and Korean movie audience are definitely looking forward to see "the transformation" of the actors especially BH.

Also glad to read that he truly loves & proud making GBW.. working with Dir. KJW, SKH and JWS again.. all of them are collaborating the second time with him.

Now I'm wondering about the GI Joe interview with the UK media.. when will we see & hear it? Celina, H (yoo-hoo girl hunter, where are you?).. any hints on this? :blush:

.. except for luwali/hunnybrian's sweet post, it's been extra, extra slow & lonely at the thread.. just me and my (Storm) Shadow. All day.. checking out the thread.. no new posts.. no BH talks.. no one around..

Time for me to be getting off now although it isn't midnight yet. No more late nights' rendeavous for this panda :blush: .. too much too tired after the Cannes crash of rubie. The non-optimistic "devil" side of me is taking over.. slowly. Dunno why.. I still can't get my momentum back no matter what. Which means another BH place (related to EverythingLBH) might have to be terminated soon.. maybe the soompi fanclub (can't do it alone, too many errors as well) but definitely the blurpanda blog will go next.

By the way.. there's a cool GBW flash made by ylin at her blog, do check it out although I can't seem to get it right with wordpress today. Everything clicked goes into endless error mode that I just had to give up. Sigh.

So good to hear that you 'met' our Hunnie there. Frankly I didn't know that he has big advert pics at the airport (?).. I honestly thought the Seven Luck boards were in Japan. Would really love to see the pics, I'll probably never set foot in Seoul or Tokyo or anywhere but it'll be cool to 'see & imagine' how it's like. Happy to know that BH is 'all over town'.. so to speak. :blush:

Thanks Janice for the warm words.. I started at the thread being the night-panda :blush: .. not able to stay as one (no strength, no company to ramble with).. I guess.. makes me a lil' melo.

Great gist as always. ^^ Finally I've got the name of the Andre Kim's fashion show that BH participated years ago (in Cairo, how cool!). Yupyup.. he did.. he did, too. LOL. And I'm glad that it's just that one time. But what's really heartwarming is that, Mr. Kim specifically remembers LBH clearly from that 'long ago' when he has had various male celebrities doing the runway in the recent years (in fact different actors, at least twice a year shows).

CJW-ssi, of course.. is well-known as Andre Kim's most fave model and rightfully so. She has the grace & poise of a model and the height to carry the clothes perfectly no matter now 'unnatural' the creation might look. Sorry.. I'm not really a fan of the fashion show and I definitely do not see the charm especially by the male models. That's why I hope once is enough for BH. Hehee.. give me the Vogue photoshoot anytime but not Andre Kim's. Nonono.

Having said that.. if BH & CJW were to participate in an Andre Kim's fashion show of some sort (gulp!).. I'm probably the first crazy panda to gush like no tomorrow. :blush: Now.. speaking of fashion shows.. it was reported once that BH and his sister took part in a charity fashion show in 2003/04. CJW is famously slated to be in the new drama "Lovers in Asuka" (of the Lovers series) with Go Soo for a 2009 co-production by Olive 9, CJW's management agency. There hasn't been any confimation/no thread for this but it looks very highly that it'll materialize considering the obvious.

If we listen carefully to interview clips by Byunghun.. the way he pronounces his name.. I think it sounded like.. YI BYEONGHEON (of course, said in the Korean tongue).. or something similar to that. But according to his manager, just calling him Mr. Lee.. if we ever had the chance of meeting BH.. would be sufficient. Maybe Elaine can enlighten us on this? :blush:

최근 할리우드로 진출한 그는 '좋은 놈 나쁜 놈 이상한 놈'의 올 여름 국내 개봉을 앞둔 가운데 강제규 감독의 빅 프로젝트 드라마 '아이리스' 출연도 결정한 상태다. 아시아권의 한류 스타를 굳히는 동시에 세계적인 배우로 발돋움하기 위해 열심히 뛰고 있다.

안들어와서 그렇다.(웃음) 사실 일이 더 중요하지 않나. 건설과 대출, 사금융 등은 다 거절했다. 최근 1년 반동안 집에 들어가서 쉰 적이 거의 없는 것 같다. ('아이리스' 촬영과 '놈 놈 놈' 홍보 일정 등 때문에) 할리우드 진출작 촬영을 끝내고 한국에 돌아가도 당분간 계속 움직여야 한다. 배우에게 가장 중요한 건 역시 연기일 뿐이다.

ㅡ 다리 부상이 이어졌다는 데

액션 영화를 계속 찍다보니 부상이 잦다. 왼쪽 다리를 다치더니 이번에는 촬영중에 오른 다리 인대가 살짝 찢어졌다. 그래도 물리치료를 받으면서 촬영은 계속하고 있다.

ㅡ 멜로 보다는 액션에 더 끌리는 것 같다

성룡도 나이 먹어서 계속 액션을 찍지않는가. 굳이 멜로 보다 액션이 좋다는 게 아니고 때마침 기회가 이어지고 있을 뿐이다. 아직은 체력적으로 문제가 없다. (근육이 상당하다고 칭찬하자) 요즘 워낙 촬영 일정이 빡빡해서 운동은 예전만큼 못했다. 실근육까지 만들어질 정도였는데.

ㅡ 식사량에 비해서는 살이 안찌는 체질인 모양이다

(이날 프라하의 한 한식당에서 저녁 때 만난 이병헌은 기자들에게 음식을 권하면서 잡채와 제육볶음, 김치꽁치찌개 등 이것저것 요리를 맛본 뒤 자신의 주문인 삼계탕 한 그릇을 뚝딱 비웠다)활동량이 엄청 많다. 그리고 요즘은 먹는 걸로 스트레스를 푼다.(웃음) 아파트를 얻어 생활하고 있는데 한식 먹을 기회가 자주 있지 않다.

ㅡ 외롭지 않나? 결혼 계획은

결혼을 계획해서 할수있다면 대단한 것 아니냐. 아무리 바빠도 눈에 콩깍지가 씌일 상대만 만난다면 어떻게든 일정을 비울텐데...외롭기는 하다. 평소에 통 연락을 못하고 지내던 친구에게도 가끔 전화를 한다.

ㅡ 칸에서 감격해 눈물을 보였다는 소식이 있던데

남들 앞에서 감격하거나 감동받아 울거나 하는 모습을 보여주는 성격이 아니다. 칸에서는 며칠간의 촬영 강행군에 이어 잠도 못자고 '놈 놈 놈' 시사회에 참석, 눈이 피곤해 있었을 뿐이다. 딱 한 번, 일본 도쿄돔 팬 미팅을 끝나고 나오면서 그 큰 경기장에 꽉 들어찬 팬들의 성원을 보면서 눈물이 핑 돌았던 적이 있다. 그 때도 남들 몰래 하느라 복도까지 나와 뒤돌아서서 눈물을 훔쳤다.

Whatever it is, just so happy to see his media pages bursting with great news updates, interview, clips & pics (soon, there'll definitely be more new pics from BH via GBW/IRIS, etc ^^). Contrary to some clueless pests' remarks that BH is not as highly reported by the Korean media.. when he's been out of the country all this time.. duh! How come Mydaily reporters went all the way to Prague for an exclusive interview with BH there when he's already going to come home 3 days later? The particular media knowing the upcoming movies from BH are going to be big.. they certainly wanted to get the exclusive scoop from the actor, one-on-one.

할리웃 입성 이병헌, 1주일 휴식후 국내활동 본격시동

영화 ‘나는 비와 함께 간다’(I come with the rain, 감독 트란 안 홍)와 대작 ‘지 아이 조(G.I. Joe, 감독 스티븐 소머즈/ 이하, G.I. 조)’ 두 작품으로 할리우드에 입성한 배우 이병헌(38)이 1년 여의 외국 생활을 마치고 지난 11일 귀국해 본격적인 국내 활동을 시작한다.

이병헌 소속사 손석우 이사는 최근 뉴스엔과의 전화통화에서 “11일 귀국해 현재 휴식 중이다. 1주일 정도 휴식 후 ‘놈놈놈’ 홍보를 시작할 예정이다”면서 “제작보고회 등을 준비 중인 것으로 알고 있다”고 밝혔다.

이병헌은 지난해 7월 중순부터 영화 ‘좋은 놈, 나쁜 놈, 이상한 놈’(이하, 놈놈놈) 중국 로케이션을 시작으로 미국 LA, 홍콩, 체코 프라하 등지에서 '나는 비와 함께 간다'와 'G.I. 조'를 촬영하며 할리우드 배우로서 입지를 다졌다. ‘놈놈놈’ 후반 작업 등으로 잠시 귀국하긴 했지만 거의 1년 동안 해외에서 체류하며 할리우드 영화 두 편과 ‘놈놈놈’ 촬영에 올인했다.

10일(현지시간) 프라하에서 ‘G.I. 조’ 촬영을 마지막으로 귀국한 이병헌은 동료배우 송강호 정우성와 함께 오는 7월17일 개봉이 확정된 '놈놈놈' 홍보 일정을 소화하게 된다.

이병헌은 '놈놈놈' 홍보를 마친 뒤 200억원 제작비를 들이는 드라마 '아이리스'(제작 강제규필름)로 ‘올인’ 이후 5년 만에 브라운관에 복귀한다.

They're actually Korean media portals where news updates related to LBH (and all the other celebrities) are listed. The most popular ones are like daum, empas and yahoo.kr. I used to have a few kept as fave links for quick-check of BH news but since the pc problem last month.. nowadays I can only connect to daum & empas. I've also asked at the thread before if someone could list the links to the "media pages" again.. I guess the question got a bit lost by itself.

Anyway.. just to familiar yourself with it.. here are the links to BH's daum & empas pages. Not only celebrities but movies, drama series & award events have their own pages to refer as well. But obviously, everything's in Korean. But it's from these pages that many fans translated the Korean news to Chinese to English for everyone to read.

You have debuted for 17 years in Korea, and it is not easy to have to start from scratch in foreign countries?

LBH: I will sometimes think "It is definitely not so tiring if I stay in Korea?", to forget the past, to collaborate with foreign actora as a rookie is not an easy thing. But I thought that since I have chosen to be an actor, I should make an effort to adapt to changes. There are actors who insist on their own style and there are also actors who will surprise people with new images in every new production, I want to be the latter in this two categories and this is the reason behind the determination to enter Hollywood.

When analyzing LBH's face carefully, the writer feels the bright cheery warmth of a playful kindergarten child, instead of a high-spirited youth. LBH's looks are a dead giveway for the mischievous brat he was when he was little. It was common for him to break an arm while playing with his sister or to break someone's windows while playing baseball in the neighborhood. Despite all that, he was a little movie-crazy fan who says that he held his mother's hand while watching the movie Papillon and became an actor because he could not get over the movie.

(I have lost all my goodies as when my pc was in trouble the last time and my removeable hard-disk was also corrupted ... sigh .... i have lost so many things these few years" .....)
