Our favorite soldier was bestowed the honor of performing in front of World athletes during the CISM World Games Closing Ceremony...

Lots of preparation were done...But in the end, the officials could not hold back the throngs of world athletes who wanted to get a closer glimpse of PFC Jaejoong.

He could not get closer to the stage thus had to turn around and perform on the ground...So professional still...Show must go on and did the best he could out of this unusual (usual for fans but unusual for 'non fans') circumstances...

It’s hard to deny that the milky-skinned pretty boy is gorgeous (heck, he even looks good in the army with super-short hair and sans layers of BB cream). But that’s literally just scratching the surface…

Music: While Jaejoong’s image earned him the part of the visual in a group of good-looking guys, his unique and strong voice landed him lead vocalist responsibilities, both in his TVXQ days and now. Just check out live performances of classics such as ‘Love in the Ice’ and ‘Bolero’ and prepare to feel your jaw drop.
Acting: Jaejoong’s acting career actually started earlier than his singing ones, albeit as an extra in war epic Taegukgi. From there, he moved on to bigger roles and which each of them, viewers and critics noted the improvement of his acting skills and hailed him as someone who broke the prejudice against “acting-dols” (K-pop idols turned actors). These praises were solidified in the form of accolades, such as the Top Excellence Award (Actor) at last year’s Korea Drama Awards.
Others: Did you know that Jaejoong served as the Executive Director for the Asian leg of JYJ’s 2011 Worldwide Tour? Oh, and he can cook. ‘nuff said.
Overall package rating: 10/10. It seems as if there’s almost nothing Jaejoong cannot do, and whatever it is he’s doing, he will look extremely good while at it. Life. Is. Unfair.

NOBODY is censoring this list...As you can see, I am practically the only one updating here...

This is Kim Jaejoong's thread and the focus is Kim Jaejoong's news...

I did NOT place ALL the pictures and videos from the GFF on the thread here because there are a lot (and there are limits as to how many we can post here)...That's why I placed a link for people to go if they chose to...

A couple of months ago, I have posted in here that PFC Jaejoong AUDITIONED and MADE it to the GFF show...He DID just like any other soldiers... Then, he moved from the 55th Infantry to the Army headquarters right after the auditions in order to train with the soldiers who also "made" the show. They trained and rehearsed for a couple of months (along with their 'normal' soldier activities).

Then all of the sudden, we hear that soldier Private Yunho may be involved in the show as a MC...Ummmm, without going through the audition process like everybody else? Who's pulling some strings here?

The army even released the video highlight of the audition process showing soldiers trying their best, including PFC Jaejoong (I posted that video here as well...scroll there)...No YH.

Yes, YH was the MC at the Main Stage during the GFF Opening ceremony and PFC Jaejoong performed Arirang with another singer/soldier and some dancers...Private YH did NOT introduce the performers, the lady MD did.

PFC Jaejoong sang and performed beautifully like the talented and deserving performer that he is...Others (less talented), just stand and watch...

Kim Jaejoong is very well known for being very friendly and kind... Sometimes his fans wishes that he is less kind. For him to greet and say hello to YH's father (who blasted JYJ during the trial/deposition and was outright mean and wrong throughout the whole law suit) showed how amazing Jaejoong's character is. For the record, HOMIN never ever said anything GOOD about JYJ after the break up... SM is still under handing JYJ's broadcast appearances... Homin has a high status at SM, if Homin are really good friends to JYJ, then they would ask SM to STOP and FREE JYJ! And I mean REAL FREEDOM!

For the delusional fans who make the 'meeting' out to be any more significant that just two former co-workers who happen to see each other again are plaid old dumb. Jaejoong did not meet up with YH, they happen to be in the same area/place...

It leaves a very bad taste in my mouth when shippers get involve and dilute the situation... IT IS OK TO SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN AFTER A LONG TIME...IT IS OK FOR FORMER FRIENDS AND CO-WORKERS TO SHAKE HANDS...Nothing more-nothing less...

Korean male group ‘JYJ’ Junsu (28) expressed, ‘currently serving the military’ Jaejoong (29) [a] “Natural (born) soldier” and induced laughter.
Junsu (JYJ) on the afternoon of the 15th [Oct], at the new song release commemorative hearing meeting, held at “Hyundai card music library” in Seoul Yongsan-gu Hannam-dong, conveyed, “(Jaejoong, Yoochun) members (who went to the military) are very healthy.” Also revealed, “met Yoochun (29) at the hair salon on the occasion of cutting his (Junsu’s) hair, at around 9 o’clock at night I met him once more at the PC Bang (net cafe).”
Also Junsu conveyed, “collect calls from Jaejoong hyung frequently come. he is cheerful to the extent that you would think is he a ‘natural (born) soldier.’ It seems he is adapting (in the military), I am relieved.” Adding up, Junsu confessed, “since the members are not here, somehow or other I am lonely, it seems like the feelings have become tensed.”
On the other hand, Junsu’s new album ‘Just Yesterday’ the title song with the same name is the first, ‘OeO’, ‘Midnight show’, ‘the tortoise and the hare’, ‘Silk Road’ etc., new songs are compiled in. Existing released songs, ‘Tarantallegra’, or ‘Incredible’ (and) ‘Flower’ etc.’s acoustic version can be heard. It will be released in the coming 19th.

*** Recruits can communicate with their family & loved-ones during weekends especially SUNDAY or on breaks through a letter – they could call but it’s a collect call. The Ministry of National Defense will distribute mobile phones to military barracks by the end of this year (2015). They will distribute one mobile phone for a group of eight to 10 soldiers in a barrack to share so that they could use it during free periods after working hours or during weekends. For security reasons, the phones will be programmed only to receive calls and will not be smartphones. The military explained that soldiers will be able to send text messages to ask their relatives to call them. The military plans to test-run the phone service in frontline units first before expanding it to other barracks nationwide.

JYJ’s Junsu Talks About Keeping in Touch with Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun

 

 

On October 15, JYJ‘s Junsu shared an update on his fellow members Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun at a listening party for his new mini album.

When asked about how Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun are doing in the army, Junsu replies, “I bumped into Park Yoochun at the hairdresser recently while getting my hair cut, and then again another time at an Internet cafe.”

“It was about 9 o’clock in the evening, and there was someone at the Internet cafe that I felt like I’d seen many times before, and I realized it was Park Yoochun,” he says. “It was the first time we’d seen each other in a while, and we had a great time gaming together.”

Junsu adds, “Kim Jaejoong calls me a lot over collect calls. Whenever we talk over the phone, I think to myself that he seems like a natural born soldier. He seems too cheerful. I’m glad that he’s adjusting so well.”

Junsu’s new solo mini album “Yesterday” will be released on October 19.

That day was the 4th day of the event already. Everyone has had a great time in the past 3 days��. JJ was happy too!!!! The temperature was low in the morning but hot in the noon n afternoon. During the waiting time, I spent a good time with my friend n new meet friends kkk. Everybody thought that JJ would come out in the morning session n were so looking forward to it. Nevertheless, he didn’t appear ������ I was so disappointed at that time. If I could not see him on that day, I thought I would cry lol… (Later on, know that JJ was hurt by the sunlight so he could not perform������ the doctor suggested him not to perform but he still sing in the afternoon session, just for his fans. Dun wanna make us disappointed������ ) 오빠 is such a nice n warm person❤️ get well soon dear ! Therefore, I listened to JaeJoong singing 3 songs at once FINALLY!!!!!!! I heard his voice��❤️�� I saw him��❤️�� my wish came true already! Can see him standing on the stage I’m so glad�� since I think that this is the good chance to see JJ so I tell myself: have to come tomorrow!!!!! Can’t miss the precious chance hehe Another morning, woke up at 5 something too. Same as the previous day, take the 1st ktx from seoul….
