Guest bbly
Here's more - Source:http://blog.goo.ne.jp/rain-love2 This end scene was really beautiful! I think those 2 were never closer to each other than at this very moment. They shared feelings and tears! Ji-woo is such a softie (meaning having a very soft heart). 10-11-26 Rain & Lee Na young @ The Fugitive Plan B set credit : DC // Naver blog Fr.ratoka@rain-cloud.co.kr I have watched all Rain's dramas and I think he didn't have this much fun in any other of his dramas. Guest Kicia
Thank you all for sharing!!!! You miss Bokgu? May I ask why? I have mixed feeling towards Bokgu, sometimes I loved him, sometimes I hated him. But it showed again the amazing acting skill of Rain. I`ve started to miss Bokgu because of this vid : A Love To Kill - Goodbye My Lover sr : AussieRay81@youtube One of the best fanmande vids for A Love to Kill, don`t you think? Or maybe it`s because of James Blunt? Hahhahha I love everything in this clip, especially the scenes that were used and music, which suits it perfectly. About Bokgu… Hmmm I think that character wise I liked him the most from all Ji Hoon`s roles.

If I think about that in that episode this Japanese actor was so mean to Rain and seeing them together posing for a picture, it's nice. Rain played all his characters very well in all his dramas, but Bok-gu was definitely the most challenging one acting-wise. And he really played it fantastic! I remember the rollercoast of feelings I had each time I watched it and I was blown away by his acting (the scene in the hospital for example when he confesses to his brother - goose bumps; there were sooo many of them). But ironically, this drama is the one I like the least among all of his dramas because the story and the ending just depressed me.

Guest wind80
I went to the movies yesterday and saw a preview of the Green Hornet and while watching this, I thought couldn't have Rain played the part of the other Asian actor? I remember that after Ninja Assassin, Rain got apparently couple of movie offers and there was even articles about a Bruce Lee Film remake. I wonder if this part was maybe the one that was offered to Rain or if he was considered at all for it.

anjjo
Runaway to end with a special broadcast November 29, 2010 Although an extension for Runaway Plan B has been nixed, the finale will be pushed back a week thanks to a recent pre-emption; last week’s scheduled episode of Episode 18 was postponed because of the Asia Games. That means 18 and 19 air this week, and the finale broadcasts on Wednesday, December 8. Since most premieres usually fall on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays (depending on the show), KBS is choosing to hold back its new drama President until the following week. They’ll fill the post-finale slot (Thursday, December 9) with a special broadcast of Runaway instead, which will give us the usual look at behind-the-scenes clips, NGs, and other unaired footage. (A couple media outlets report that the producers are still negotiating, while a few others announce it as a matter of fact.) In any case, I expect there’ll be lots of Rain goofiness in the special — at least, there’d better be! Preferably with Lee Jung-jin. Mmm, Lee Jung-jin. Meanwhile, injured actress Yoon Sohn-ha has announced that she will be returning to the show following what seemed like a pretty bad car accident. Her evil-pinkberry-with-a-stone-cold-heart character, Mi-jin, was written out of the drama in order to let Yoon heal; [MINOR SPOILER?] she’s improved enough to appear in the drama’s last two episodes, and will appear in a wheelchair. I suppose that fits in with the storyline, since her character was shot in a previous episode. The delay is probably welcome news for the crew of President since, as you may know, the drama was angling to avoid directly conflicting with Daemul, as the two are both Wednesday-Thursday dramas about Korean presidents. They’ll still overlap, but for one week less than originally planned. The drama stars Choi Su-jong and his wife Ha Hee-ra as president and first lady; despite both actors’ long careers, this is actually the first time they’ll be acting together in 17 years of marriage. I wonder if that rapport will give them extra chemistry, as high-profile spouses playing high-profile spouses. (Not that they need it, with all the acting talent.) President’s new premiere date is December 15. Via Star News, Newsen Source:dramabeans

Not a fan of JB either but here this song just fit the scenes naturally. It`s amazing. Rain in ALTK for me was Bok-gu. If I wouldn`t know who Rain was I would say that he was some young talent found on Seoul streets (street casting anyone LOL). In ALTK he was a tough, sullen young man, from lower-class and underprivileged backgrounds… Maybe actually he would ended like that if not his dancing, mother and ambition? As for my favorite scene: Bokgu in the middle of the street, covering his ears trying to drown out ES cry. I simply loved the spiritual bond between Eun Seok and Bokgu (when they feel each other suffering; when they hit their chest etc). Loved the scenes between BG and HDJ. Loved every scene were Bokgu is daydreaming, distant, faaaaaar away from the reality. Not to mention that ALTK shows one of the strongest bonds between brothers that I`ve seen on screen (yes, scene in the hospital is daebak;-). I liked the pace of this drama, soundtrack and almost all actors LOL Lee Kyung Hee`s stories always pull at the heartstrings and have the Tristan and Isolde endings, which I love. They are like Greek tragedies. Rain @ The Fugitive Plan B Set 2010-11-19 credit B4 @ dc Fr.ratoka@rain-cloud co.kr Thanks anjjo for posting this specific pic! It`s Rain. You bet your sweet life! BTW: I`m tired of reading about Rain`s exaggerated acting in first episodes of Runaway and that he improved from second half of the drama… And there we go again. Sang Doo and now Runaway. People are blind or don`t understand Ji Woo character at all. First of all Runaway is a comedy with lots of funny gags. For me it`s sometimes even a satire on drama stereotypes. However, the most important thing is that Ji Woo`s goofiness here is only a mask. Guest sirizblack
@Kicia .. Spot on! I agree with you 100% I also think people just don't get Ji Woon's character at all =/ Also, only serious acting is considered good acting? Wrong =/ I find Ji Woon's character so damn good because you can see there's more than what meets the eye but at the same time he chooses to be this way because he's just like, it makes him happy, and it makes him able to to on with life. What's wrong with that? Exaggerated? The Nakamura guy is overdone but I never thought Rain exaggerated during the first episodes. The character is like that, geez. And he did damm good. However, the most important thing is that Ji Woo`s goofiness here is only a mask. Why people think that when Rain shows Ji Woo more serious side he`s a better actor? And why I`m irritated so much???? Please don't be sad! I am sure there are other fans who liked this fan-made clip like you! Regarding Bok-gu, I 100% agree with you! When watching the drama, I was already a Rain-fan. And seriously, I forgot with the 1st episode that I was watching Rain. Bok-gu was alive and so real, through the mind-blowing performance of Rain. Yes, that scene with him covering his ears when hearing ES crying, goose bumps here! And also when he is on the roof top, wanting to jump and ES holds him back (not the real one), but with her love she protetcs him although not physically there. I loved each character too and the pace of the story was very good, but I just had (still have problems) with some decisions and the behaviour of the characters (especially ES, towards the end I could have only slapped her). I know it was tragic and dramatic, but until today I don't understand their death and don't see a sense in it, it's like 2 young lifes wasted for nothing. Not a fan of Greek tragedies as you can tell. Yeah, the OST of this drama is awesome!!! So you feel maternal instincts when seeing that picture? Hmm, yes a bit! Hallelujah! And yes!! It's really tiring how the comical Ji-woo performance of Rain is considered not good acting and the serious one yes. I think you shouldn't forget that it's harder to act comical than serious (being mad, furious, crying). To be able to laugh like that or make others laugh, it is quite hard. But he pulls it off sooooo good! And as you said it, this goofiness is only a mask, to cover up his true personality or true feelings. Rain is perfect for the role of Ji-woo and since ep. 1 he gives a flawless performance! I hope he will get an award for this role.
