Rain has another project to showcase to his fans as he was spotted filming his upcoming Chinese film "Hong Yan Lu Shui"(working title).

Rain was helping out Sing Ru (Liu Yifei) whom he met in a cafe. According to the fans who were also there, while there may be moments during filming that can be a little awkward because of the language barrier between the two stars, but the professionalism is said to be shining through the two stars who are happy to be doing the film despite the potential communication issues.

It has also been revealed that Rain will take on the male lead Shui Chung Shuin, which will be directed by Xixi Gao, one of China's most well-known directors. Rain's portrayal of Shui Chung Shuin is a passionate and artistic successor of the largest company in Southeast Asia and will portray true love can give.

A picture from the set of Rain’s first Chinese film “Hong Yan Lu Shui” has been released, featuring the two leads Rain and Chinese actress Liu Yifei.

The picture appeared on Chinese online fan community Tieba on March 14, and gives fans a glimpse of the two celebrities filming together for the first time. Rain and Liu Yifei appear to be seated behind the bar counter of a modern café.

According to the netizen who was at the filming location, the scene being filmed was one where Xu Cheng Xun (Rain) meets Xing Lu (Liu Yifei) at a café and ends up helping her out. Rain seemed very affable and smiled brightly at everyone. However, the atmosphere on set was slightly awkward because the two had just started filming and had a language barrier between them.

Rain and Liu Yifei play the lead characters in the melodramatic film adaptation of the novel “Hong Yan Lu Shui” and is being directed by Gao Xixi. Filming is currently taking place in Shanghai, China.

Rain will also be staging a special performance at the Chinese “QQ Music Awards” on March 27.

***I’m really expecting that RAIN & co. will win here on this mission. Using their  brains and physical prowess, Rain and Kim Jong Kook succeeded in collecting all of the elements first. The missions are really interesting! IDK why other people find the special EPs boring. IDK also why the ratings aren't that great. Maybe RM has been lacking on something, which other shows have? With Rain and Kim Woo Bin in tow, the cast members continued their quest to gather the four elements - air, fire, water and ground.

Gathering at a huge exhibition hall, a thrilling nametag-ripping chase ensued as the members strove to gather the four elements.

With Song Ji Hyo being the only ground-type Pokemon cast member in the game, the cast searched high and low to find the remaining elements that they had picked before their expedition. Using their wily brains and physical prowess, Rain and Kim Jong Kook succeeded in collecting all of the elements first, winning the prize of a gold-plated globe.

SBS “Running Man” variety show has stopped its street filming in Australia for safety reasons.

It has been reported that there were mass crowd already waiting for the stars even at the airport when they arrived. There were also many fans and crowds following the teams wherever they went for shooting.

As time went by, more fans added to the crowd, making it difficult to film. The photo shows Song Jihyo riding a cab to get out from the over-crowded scene.

Rain joining Chinese movie

Singer and actor Jung Ji-hoon, better known by his stage name Rain, will make his Chinese cinema debut later this year in director Gao Xixi’s new film “Lu Shui Hong Yan” (working title).

“We thought Rain would be the perfect role for the film, as the leading male character should catch the attention of both domestic and international viewers,” said the film’s production studio through a press release at the beginning of the month.

In this film, Rain will act with 26-year-old Chinese entertainer Liu Yifei, who starred in the 2011 film “A Chinese Ghost Story.”

Director Gao Xixi has produced several successful dramas and films, including “Legend of Chu and Han” (2012).

“I hope I can expand my activity base [in China] through my debut in Chinese film,” said Rain through a press release.

The film is based on Amy Siu-Haan Cheung’s novel “Hong Yan Lu Shui.” On March 11, the production team posted several pictures to celebrate filming the first scene of the film on its official Weibo account.

Rain’s last album, “Rain Effect,” came out in early January. He also recently finished filming the Hollywood movie “The Prince.”

On March 14th, the photo was uploaded on a Chinese online website's board.

RAIN is recently casting in a new Chinese film with Liu Yi Fei(刘亦菲), and the photo shows RAIN and Liu Yi Fei sitting together at a café.

The person who uploaded the photo wrote, "RAIN was a charming and gentle guy, but it seemed that he was still a bit awkward with Liu Yi Fei because of the language problem."

Netizens who saw the photo left comments, such as "Looking great", "I wonder what kind of film that would be", and "I should not forget watching the movie."

'Running Man' actor Kim Woo Bin and singer Rain competed their flexibility in Running Man.

On the SBS entertainment program "I Like Sundays - Running Man" which aired on March 9, 2014, the Running Man team went to Australia to film the special episodes called Adventures in Australia, with singer Rain and actor Kim Woo Bin as guests. Prior to playing games in Australia, the Running Man members rested in the hotel. Kim Jong Gook challenged Rain how flexible his legs were, and soon all of the Running Man members were competing whose legs were more flexible. After the flexibility competition, the members had a dance time at the hotel. In related news, these series of episodes is the first time the SBS entertainment program "I Like Sundays - Running Man" is being filming in a country outside of Asia. The most cowardly of all cowards battled it out on land, air, and sea in Australia to determine the winner.

The March 16th broadcast of SBS entertainment program "Running Man" was the 2nd part of the Australia special. They went on an adventure by means of land, air, and sea on this special. The members' wills were strong, but most of the "Running Man" cast members are cowards, which was once again brought to the viewers' attention with this episode. Their brave (cowardly) attempts at completing the missions brought much laughter to the viewers.

Last week the members met with kangaroos and koalas at a sanctuary where they had to complete missions. This week the missions were noticeably more difficult, and they went on parasailing, sea plane, and Jeep car adventures, making a dynamic viewing experience for those at home.

Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Suk Jin, both of whom are known to have an extreme fear of heights, went first. Their faces went pale as their sea plane took off so that they could complete the mission of attaining 15 marbles. Naturally the two screamed as loudly as they can, and were very well pleased when they completed their mission. HaHa and Gary went out to sea to go parasailing. They let out big sighs in time with the rocking waves, and looked defeated. Whether by good fortune or bad luck, their parasailing was unsuccessful due to the weather. However, they were able to swim with the dolphins in the sea, which made for a unique time on screen.

This broadcast of "Running Man" was filmed in Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Melbourne. They were able to interact more with the locals in the city.

The final winners of the Australian special were Rain and Kim Jong Gook. It's no wonder that the combination of these two very capable men took home the victory. This couple was the first to obtain all 4 cards containing water, fire, wind, and earth. They already had the wind and water cards. Song Ji Hyo had the earth card, and they won their final fire card by completing a mission, and took the final win.

Kim Woo Bin, who was also a guest in this episode, showed great fervor in working towards victory. In the last mission Kim Woo Bin put up a great battle of wits, and almost won. However, he collapsed under Rain's final surprise attack.

This was the first time "Running Man" took place outside of Asia. Rain and Kim Woo Bin were supposed to be joined by Lee Jong Suk for this Australian special, but he unfortunately could not join because he caught the swine flu.

***It is now common thing to do online for Korean idols and actors to communicate with fans and post their own opinions about many things on SNS. But some of top stars still opt not to bother using SNS for various reasons. I’m just glad that RAIN is interested in the SNS. Although, it’s not his priority things to do for obvious reason but at least he’s trying to communicate with his fans through pictures........ at least he shares details about his life to anyone with Internet access.

***I wonder when RAIN is wrapping-up filming this upcoming movie. Firstly, Korean movies/dramas function on a very different timeline from Western dramas. IDK how china filming is.....A 20-episode America TV show is spread out over nine months, I guess a bit shorter for movies (6-mos) whereas a Korean drama of the same length will be wrapped up within three months & same thing with their movie. Due to the structure of the Korean entertainment industry, committing to a drama/movie require the cast to endure three to four months of living on a very tight schedule, often needing to forgo sleep and other activities.
