Singer Rain to Perform at Thailand 'Sonic Bang' Festival, 'First Performance Since Army Discharge'

Singer Rain will be flying to Thailand today to attend the 'Sonic Bang' music festival.

On August 24, Rain will be performing at the 'Sonic Bang' festival at the Bangkok Impact Muang Thong Thani. He has left for Thailand today to prepare for the concert.

After his performance on August 24, he plans to return right back to Korea the next day.

'Sonic Bang' is a huge concert that brings in 50,000 fans. This concert invites over 30 teams from the east and the west and shows off a variety of different performances.

Hot artists such as Far East Movement, Pet Shop Boys and even Epik High can be seen in the line up.

This stage is special for Rain as it will be his first performance after being discharged from the army.

Rain flies to Thailand after completing military service

Singer Rain left Incheon International Airport yesterday to attend Sonic Bang, one of the largest festivals in Thailand starting tomorrow.

It will be the first time Rain officially appears in public after being discharged from the Army last month.

He originally planned on meeting his fans earlier this month, but he postponed the event.

As he gears up for his first performance in more than two years, many fans are also expecting an announcement of his comeback to the music industry.

However, his agency, Cube Entertainment, said that his appearance at the festival has nothing to do with his comeback.

"He has not started working on a new album", said an official at the agency, according to local media reports. "As he was recently discharged, he will take a break and then start working on new songs".
