Upon attaining the rank of PFC, most soldiers will eventually advance to either the rank of Specialist or Corporal. You call it “Corporal holiday”. Well, what’s also important is he looks healthy. Looking at these pictures, his cheeks were once again filled out.

About his salary in the Army, at least, he’s being paid & not receiving only an allowance, which were used to be in the Army if you’re a celebrity & also a new recruits. So, the amount isn’t that bad for an ordinary person but a little not enough if you’re a celebrity who used to earn much before enlisting. Also, thanks for sharing here the article from soompi news. How Much Does Rain Receive a Month In the Military?

The answer? Far, far less than what he used to earn as a singer.

On May 8, in Gyeonggi-do’s Euijeongbu 306, Rain took part in the ‘2012 Military Newly Recruit Welcoming Festival’ to help usher in the new army draftees.

During a Q&A session, one new recruit boldly asked the singer, “How much is your fortune worth?” to which Rain responded, “I’m sorry, but I’d like to ask that you only ask questions related to the military.”

To this, the event’s MC, comedian Lee Jin Ho, said, “I believe Rain earns 80,000 Won (about 70 U.S. dollars) a month.”
