The leading actress for that Chinese-Korean movie production rumor with Chow Yun Fat has officially denied that she was involved in the movie.

And according to chichos..Chow Yun Fat has confirmed that he is preparing for a movie, and he will play Cao Cao..

Cao Cao is a character only in YEH’s movie…

So let’s hope this is all true^^

People at Baidu misunderstood this post of mine.  They think that it's Yoon Eun Hye who denied being involved in the movie but it isn't her.  It's another actress who was rumored who said she isn't part of the movie.

I hope someone tells them...  Or they see this post.  It seems like the cause of the rumor was my post above..

@Vegaspink....yeah they missunderstood...what CDBloom meant was not movie "Tong Que Tai" but another movie that will direct by Korean Director Kwak Jae Yong (My sassy girl)...the movie title is " Yang Gui Fei " (one of the most beautiful woman in ancient China)....the Korean director wants to enter China Market for this production n the rumor is CYF also cast in that movie n starts filming next month same schedule with Tong Que Tai....n the female lead is Fan Bing BIng (Chinese actress) but soon the news released the press contacted her n she denied that rumor...

I think I have to make this matter (rumor about CYF involvement in another movie "Yang Guifei") clear. I might be started this issue when I came across an article about CYF and Yang Guifei in hancinema & soompi news a few days ago. So I asked CDBloom & chichocs if the news is true. They didn't know for sure as well and they said they will ask around.

At first the news confuse me cause Yang Guifei will start shooting on the same time with Tong Que Fei which is on October. And I really hope that the first Chinese project of YEH can push trough. So I was also looking around to find any information & confirmation, and I just found out that the rumor of CYF involvement in Yang Guifei has been started since April.

But what make me feel relieve is that CYF made a statement on his presscon (on August) that his next project will be a movie titled "Tong Que Tai"

And furthermore Fan Bing Bing (Chinese actress who has been rumored to star opposite CYF on "Yang Guifei") has denied her involvement :

So as far as we knew CYF & Tong Que Tai is still a real deal. We just need YEH confirmation about her involvement in this project (but I think the director of "Tong Que Tai" has already confirmed this)

Something interesting i want to share with you. According to what I read from baidu, some time last year in January 14, 2010, Academy of Social Sciences confirmed the tomb of Cao Cao is true. In the tomb of Cao Cao they found a 20-year-old bones of a young woman, who was this woman? Zhao Ling Shan director, said: "Tomb of Cao Cao," the news has caused a stir, Anyangi City, Henan Province, has become a focus city. The remains of the woma body is sill controversial.

So I think YEH character in the movie could be that "woman"...aiyoh meaning is death till us part with Cao Cao. but i think its a interesting movie.

YEH will act as Gong Ling Ju, Tamaki as Mu Shun and Alec Su as emperor...will start shooting October 5th in Beijing

Korean news/portal finally report the movie news 

Korea, China, & Japan Co-Production "Dong Jak Dae (Tong Que Tai 銅雀台)", Heroin Yoon Eun Hye To Begin Filming In Beijing Next Month.

Korean-Chinese-Japanese movie < Tong Que Tai (銅雀臺)>, which Yoon Eun Hye will play the tragic heroin, will begin filming in Beijing next month.

Takungpao.com (京華時報) reported on the 13th that "Tong Que Tai" will tell a story about a beautiful woman who was buried alive with Cao Cao (曹操) of the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". It reported that the movie will crank-in with glamorous casting of actors including Yoon Eun Hye, Chow Yun Fat (周潤發), Alec Su (蘇有朋), Japan's Tamaki Hiroshi (玉木宏), and etc..

Zhao Lin Shan (趙林山), a famous Chinese director will direct the movie, and it is expected to simultaneously open in multiple Asian markets in October of next year.

The story is based on the mystery regarding the remains of a woman in her twenties, found in Cao Cao's tomb by the Hunan State Bureau of Cultural Relics (國家文物局) and confirmed by the Chinese Academy of Science (中国社会科学院).

Director Zhao explained that he will display a story based on the final days of Cao Cao, who built Tong Que Ta (銅雀台) at the capital of the Cao Wei state. The story will focus on his strategies and his final love.

Cao Cao will be played by global star Chow Yun Fat, and Yoon Eun Hye will play Young Juh (靈雎)*, who is loved by him.

Director Zhao stated that he wrote the scenario for the movie, as he thought about the unknown woman, upon hearing the news of Cao Cao’s tomb being discovered in Anyang (安陽), a historical site of the Cao Wei state.

The scenario contains Cao Cao’s thoughts and strategies during his final few years of life, his wars against Shu Han and Eastern Wu, his relationship with his son, and his love interest. The large theme that represents the movie is that of great love and conformity.

In addition, Tamaki Hiroshi will play the warrior Mu Shun (穆順), who battled Lu Bu (呂布) during the three kingdoms era. Alec Su will play Emperor Xian of Han (獻帝), who is usurped by Cao Cao and his son.

Note: *Yoon Eun Hye's character Young Juh (靈雎) is written in Korean pronunciation of the Chinese name.

This is because I could not find any information about this character in the historical sense, so I don't know her proper name. Some posts have mentioned Gong lin ju as the character's name in Chinese pronunciation. But this could be a fictional name. Some other sources have reported that Yoon Eun Hye's character is actually Lu Ling Qi (呂玲綺), a warrior daughter of Lu Bu (呂布).
