first was thank you, then robbers, and now this?

Shindong of Super Junior to Debut as Actor

Shindong of idol group Super Junior will be trying his hand at acting. He is cast in a KBS drama “Single Dad is in Love” to be aired on February 18th. This human comedy is about the lives of a single dad and his seven-year-old child. Oh Ji-ho will play the leading role of Kang Poong-ho.

Shindong’s part in the drama is Kang Chil-gu, brother of the main character Poong-ho. Both Chilgu and Poong-ho were raised in an orphanage and Chil-gu works as an exterminator. He is a big talker and pokes his nose into everyone’s affairs, but he loves his big brother and would do anything for him.

To show his seriousness at acting, Shindong will use his real name Shin Dong-hee on the show. He said that the character of Chilgu is just like him in many ways, such as being naïve, yet determined. Although he admits that he’s worried about this career change, Shindong is determined to make it work and looking forward to the first shoot.

oh ji ho seems to be soo tall compares to his other coactors..hehe.

I hope his injury is not serious so they're no delay in the filming. I'm anticipating the drama soo much.

p.s : No shindong in the pic. And it seems that his son will a have a 'petite' love interest with the cute girl..hehehe

Interesting mix of cast... although I'm worried about the chemistry between Oh Ji Ho and Heo Yi Jae...she seems to be way too young to be his love interest.

I hope OJH feels better soon.

Star Crystal : thanks for posting the pics. The pic of OJH's son standing on his back is soo cute.

jahye : I kindda know what you mean by this looks like a miscast...but hopefully they prove us wrong.

can't wait to see OJH..love him in fantasy couple. i just realize that he looks like fujiki naohito in the above picture (when he's wearing white singlet, standing behind his son). :rolleyes:
