Actress Kim So Yeon shocks with her hairstyle transformation

Actress Kim So Yeon, who had recently wrapped up drama 'Fall In Love With Soon Jung,' showed off an edgy new hairstyle that has jaws dropping in shock for a pictorial with 'W Korea.'

She's rocked the short hairstyle looked before, but never has she gone blonde!  And boy can she pull it off.  She's reverted to the edgy look she sported back in her 'IRIS' days and what an assassin - fans are falling left and right at this blonde bombshell look.

Who knows if it's actually her new hair or a wig just for the shoot, but maybe we can get her in a new drama with this look?

I`m totally on board with whatever hairstyle they want for a new role. I wish they offer her a new drama script as soon as possible. :D

​Tell me about it. I so want to see her again in a badass role. This time not a tomboy but an unstoppable sexy woman with a mission. :D  But I can`t wait to see what role she will do next. I am glad there`re still projects for women over 30s in kdrama land. The problem is there are not many good writers out there.

I wish she will do a drama with one of my favorite writers, even a cameo will be OK. :)  Another wish, a cameo in the new Kim Seung Woo`s drama. So many wishes...  Dream on. :w00t::w00t::w00t:

The wonderful KSY fans on Facebook uploaded an absolutely epic BTS video from the INR3 DVD and I thought I should let my fellow soompi KSY fans know about it (even though I suspect most of them have already seen it). I guess a 30 sec scene can really "pack a punch" :D

P.S. Who knew KSY could throw down that well :lol:

P.P.S. Any WJW fans who might come across this post might be interested to know the pretty lady is also in the video ;)

In the night at Times Square New York City.  Hope they will update will more photos of their wonderful holiday. I remember that she went on a trip in Singapore last year after INR3 (with Suan).

Our So Yeon  hardly ever got high votes in many polling  in Korea, why? 
The public does not like her?  Whereas she is very qualified....

I don`t follow polls of popularity but I am not surprised that she doesn`t have many votes. I don`t think is a question of not liking, it is all about popularity. She is a shy person who doesnt have a flair to promote herself,  she was not a hallyu star and never will be.  The two occasions that I know about where she won Popularity awards were for two characters: villiness Sun Mi from All About Eve and Kim Sun Hwa from Iris. Beside a personal charisma, sometimes popular dramas and popular roles are important for rising popularity. For an artist the popularity might be important but I think what they want more is to be perceived as a good actor/actress.  About So Yeon, she still has loyal fans, she has a good reputation in this business. I want the best luck for her for more good roles in the future. I know that for an actress in 30- 40s the lead roles in kdramas are fewer and fewer but I wish her to stay in kdrama land many years to come.

Now, the beautiful So Yeon will come back in Korea after her short vacation in New York.

I wish we can read the interview as well. I love pictures in nature. This time they use a beautiful garden. It is a sophisticated garden just like the model, full of refinement and elegance. I hope for the next pictorial (I know it is an outdoor pictorial as well) she will be on the grass. Almost all her pictorials give us a more urban vibe. I am curious if they will ever choose for So Yeon a rustic atmosphere like this one...
